This place has a great selection of food at good, reasonable prices--especially compared to the San Juan area. They offer a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes, along with coffee drinks and pastries. The service is friendly and fast. Since the restaurant is located on a major avenue with several hotels and Airbnbs nearby, it can get packed quickly, so be prepared to wait in line. But trust me, it's worth the wait! read more

This was the worse experience we had in our vacation in Puerto Rico. Service was horrible. I always say that if you don't like to work with people, you shouldn't. They were rude and got our order wrong. Not an apology, then we had to make the line again to fix the problem. DONT go there. Food was nasty. The bathroom was filthy. Don't recommend this bakery. Horrible service and food. read more

Luquillo Beach Bakery is a gem of a Puerto Rican Café. On a recent trip to Luquillo with friends, we were conveniently located within walking distance of this café. We stopped in our first morning primarily out of convivence, but we had to return a second time because of how delicious the food was. I had the Quesito and Mayorca con Jamon, Queso y Huevo. The Quesito is a traditional pastry with a doughy shell and filled with sweet flavorful guava and heavenly cream cheese. Just superbly delicious. The Mayorca con Jamon, Queso y Huevo is a breakfast sandwich with a doughy Mayorca sweet bread bun and filled with meaty flavorful ham, gooey swiss cheese, and a fried egg and topped with powdered sugar. The sandwich was phenomenal mix of sweet and savory and I had to order it on both occasions. Please stop here when visiting Luquillo. read more

Absolutely the best bakery and breakfast and a MUST visit while you're in Luquillo. The staff is friendly and most of all patient with us tourists. I'm Latino and had no idea what most of their menu items were. I ordered the Mega Breakfast for my 6 year old with everything on it and it was by far the best breakfast he's ever had he says and I agree with him lol. I ordered the Cubano sandwich and it was delicious. They had a whole bunch of different pastries that we will definitely be coming back to get before the end of our trip. The restaurant was clean, they have baños and they have games for kids like connect four. They take cash or credit card. read more

What a great place in Luquillo Beach! The atmosphere in this place was amazing! They had a great selection of local foods & drinks and a very interesting menu. There was a great mix of tourists and locals and that is always a great sign. The staff was super friendly and very patient with our indecisive group. They made great recommendations and the food was ready pretty quickly. I LOVED my coffee and sandwich! It was exactly what I hoped to have in PR! This is a great spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch. We stopped by this bakery café before heading out for some souvenir shopping and were greeted by friendly staff. The prices were very reasonable--we paid $22 for two coffees, one pancake order, and one Belgian waffle order. The coffee came out quickly, but the food took a little longer since we were behind a family of five--understandable given the small kitchen. I didn't get a chance to try their homemade donuts, but I'll be back tomorrow to see if they're as fluffy and delicious as the owner described. The place has clean bathrooms, decent parking, and is conveniently located right off the main road, making it easy to find. Our Airbnb was just five minutes away, so it's a great spot for a traditional breakfast. They also offer lunch options, including rice, Puerto Rican dishes, chicken, and stew. The overall vibe is casual and laid-back. read more

This place was near where we were staying and we ended up here on multiple occasions on our trip. The first reason was for coffee. There are multiple sizes if you get it hot but only one size if you get it iced. We got it iced and they loaded it with whip cream. It was a pretty good latte and they had all the flavor shots if that is what you are into. We also tried the pastries, which were in the glass case. the guava pastry was good and in addition to these things, their menu also offers full meals. The inside is small and has limited seating, but was never completely ful lthe times we were in there. We got ours to go each time and there are a few parking spots out front. The staff is super friendly and you can call in your order ahead of time. read more

My daughter won't stop talking about the açaí bowl! It was her favorite food on our trip so far!

We were looking for a quick bite on our way to el yunque national forrest and Luquillo Beach Bakery was just that! The service was friendly and quick! The menu was in English which was a bonus for us. We had a few baked goods and coffee and it was a decent and reasonably priced option if you are passing through. It looked like they had a great lunch option to try some local dishes. They had plenty of seating and parking available for larger groups. read more

Went for breakfast plate. All this for $5, a great deal. Cooked by Ezekiel, the son. His family runs the place. Nice friendly hardworking people cooking honest food for locals and visitors alike. Also got a tripleta sandwich to go for my airport trip. Can't wait to try it. Come visit, they open at 5 AM. read more

Excellent bakery and service is outstanding! The quesitos and coffee are delicious and if in the area, this is a treat!!

Delicious iced coffee and breakfast burritos! The baked goods looked amazing so I will need to go back to try them!

I had a breakfast burrito and my partner had a cubano. The food was great and the staff were very friendly.

Our server at our hotel recommended this cafe to us. The service was great. The lady we spoke with seem to be the owner. She thanked us for coming in. Her staff was kind. The restaurant was clean and off the main freeway. We had their breakfast sandwich on the traditional pastry and their Oreo crumble. Both so good! Loved the sandwiches! Food comes out little slow as they are super busy in business hours. But very friendly staff and good food.

Food was good! Service was great and the turnaround time was decent. However, both of our orders were messed up. My breakfast burrito came without egg and the sandwich meal came without the advertised French fries. Still great for a quick bite but check your food before you leave! read more

Food was OK, service was great. Breakfast was good but the pastries were great. We will try them again.

Love, love, love their food! Went here a few times during our vacation to PR in Feb 2024. This was by far the best restaurant we ate at for breakfast and lunch. They have your traditional PR breakfast items, pastries, desserts and hot food for lunch. Food tastes like my Puerto Rican mom made it. This is where the locals go. Very friendly staff that also provide recommendations on what to order. We will definitely be back. I have already recommended them on the Puerto Rico Travelers FB group page. Their prices are very reasonable and they are not a tourist trap like some of the other restaurants near Luquillo Beach and El Yunque rain forest. They are open at 5 a.m. 10/10 and two thumbs up rating!!! read more
