Found this on my walk from hotel to MOA. The place gets pretty busy in the mornings, but the lines move along fast. When in Manila, tradition is that you have to have a real pandesal the old fashioned way, warm and just out of the oven.
Pandesal is 7.50 pesos for the big and 4.50 for the regular, but there was a back to school promo that day I was there for .50 discount. They ran out of the regular so ended up getting the big size, which in contrast to the pandesal I get in the US, was considered a regular size for me anyway.
The pandesal was delicious! The taste wasn't overpowering or too weak. But best of all, it was fresh! They also sell other breads. Kids tried the cheesesticks and they were soft, not too salty. This was a nice buy for the walk. read more
