After trying different variations from other restaurants in Chicago and Madison, I have to say they have the best carne asada fries (titled Loaded Fries under the shareable section). The fries are wedged with an assortment of quac, sour cream, their own cheese sauce, and pico de gallo. What made it so good was the ratios of the ingredients and the cheese sauce. The portions are enough for two people to share, though you may leave with clogged arteries. Although at times there may be a language barrier with staff, they were attentive to our needs and checked on us regularly. A fun fact is that they are located behind the grocery store aspect of the place. Vibes were great.

Since we were already there, we decided to order the lunch special of two tacos, rice, beans, and a drink for $12. It took a little while for the food to come out, but everything tasted fine. The carne fresco tacos were quite tasty and I would definitely order again. Overall, the food was fine, but it was a disappointment that they didn't have the only item we came there for. We ended up ordering ahead from a different restaurant participating in burger week and went to pick it up so we at least got to try one.

Another standout was the pastor meat was saucy and seemed like there was a hint of sweetness maybe from pineapple?
