I brought my Labradoodle in to get groomed after a poor experience with his previous groomer and I couldn't be happier! Best groom he's gotten hands down. I called the past weekend to book an appointment (many groomers are not accepting new clients right now) and surprisingly they were able to get me in this morning due to a cancellation. Each experience from my first phone call to walking in the door exceeded all expectations. Customer service was amazing and Baileys groomer did a wonderful job at meeting my expectations from the image I showed her and explained everything afterwards. Instant regret for not booking his next appointment at that time but definitely bringing him back here. read more

Pampered Paws - Bailey post-groom - Pet Groomers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Arnold the Dog looked great after his grooming. They even brushed his teeth. Great service!

I took my 11 year old German Shepherd here for a bath, deshedding, nail trim and toothbrush . She was waaay overdue for all and she came out looking clean and radiant and was even prancing. Her fur looks so lush and she smells so good! Her breath is also not offensive anymore! I thought the prices were very reasonable and she seemed well taken care of during her visit. We'll be back! read more

Not only did Pampered Paws give my 70lb shepherd/retriever mix a great bath/trim, but they also did it in a timely and efficient manner (something that ever other groomer I've used has lacked). I dropped him off at his scheduled 10:30am appointment, and got a text that he would be ready by noon! Prices were in line with other places in the area, and the quality was well worth it! I will be going back when the shedding needs to managed again! read more

Pampered Paws - Pet Groomers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Pampered paws did a great job grooming both my pups: they were clean, mani/pedi and smelled and felt incredible. We'll be back for both self clean (it was not available when we went) and grooming services. read more

Staff was very nice. Apt time was on time. However, they use crates. This was our first crate-groomer, and I did not ask, but they also did not tell me. 50/50 my fault. I had not read any reviews that they crate the dogs. My pup has huge stranger danger so I was phoned 15 minutes after he was in the crate to come get him. They could not get him out of the crate once he was in. He was shaking all day once I got him home. The staff offered me a slot where he could come first apt and not have to be crated. This may work, but my pup was pretty traumatized after being crated. My suggestion to the dog owners- do your research and if you do not want a kennel groomer you need to ask. My suggestion to the business- inform the client. I did not see the back of the facility when I first arrived so I did not know. There is nothing wrong with this business per say, but you need to be informed. read more

I was trying to wait until I spoke to the owner before writing this review, but she has not gotten back to me. I will be happy to update once she does though. I don't know why I wanted to look for another place, as the last grooming salon I went to did a great job. But I took in my low maintenance senior dog for a trim (their "face, fanny, feet" trim) plus $10 for a little extra. I understood the pricing, and I picked her up, and mentioned that I thought it would be shorter around her face. Like a puppy cut. No one responded. I emailed about two days later saying considering what I paid I thought that it would be a little shorter & the owner responded that they have a 24 hour policy, which was not mentioned at check out. I felt that I was very close to that and said from a customer service perspective I think they could just fix up her face, and I would be thrilled. She said I could come in that day, unfortunately I work a full-time job so couldn't come in that day and wrote back immediately saying thanks & I could come in the next day and here's my availability and I have yet to hear back. My mom came to visit within two days of her haircut and I said "my dog got groomed for you!" And she was like "she did? Looks like her shaggy old self." read more

We love this place!! My roomie and I bring our dogs in here every other week, it seems. Whether it be for new healthy treats or nail trims, we know our pups are in great hands every time. They've also got the most amazing staff - Kinzie and Randi are always so sweet and helpful. We always leave here happy. read more

Love the variety they have here. They have a ton of frozen raw food, freeze-dried raw, and TONS of treats. Everyone has been super helpful/friendly! They are also in a great location right on Colfax. Definitely recommend Pampered Paws. read more

This was my first time at Pampered Paws and it was great. I took my mini goldendoodle and I was afraid she would need to be shaved because of her matting but Lydia did such a wonderful job getting the mats out without having to shave her. I was so impressed how her cut came out, it is exactly what I had requested. She looked great! SO happy that we found Pampered Paws, we will be back again soon! read more

I was nervous to take my very shy dog in, but the staff made the experience quick and painless. Everyone from the front desk/ floor area to the people grooming in the back were extremely understanding and kind, they listened to my concerns and worked with me in a compassionate manner. I would recommend this place to anyone, the staff alone is enough of a reason to come and trust this place with your dog. We only got a nail trim, my dog hates having them clipped but the process only took around 10 minutes, super quick and it was very affordable. read more

Great service and very accommodating! They allowed us to use their dog wash even though they were about to close. We were trying to hustle so they could close however they came up to us and assured us they would stay open for as long as we needed. Just wonderful experience overall. read more

Do not bring your babies here! Was a customer for 2 years. The last visit they shaved my dog so low that she had several cuts and scratches all over her body. They charged me $160 for a complete shave on my Goldendoodle. I'll normally pay a small dematting fee of $15 of necessary but they have never shaved her. It was a new groomer that I had never met. I called to let them know and they said they would talk to the groomer and get back with me. They never did. My dog keeps a standing appointment every 8 weeks. So I never let her go too long. Also we had a trip to Houston in between her grooming where she got a professional wash and brush and blow dry. When I called again after not hearing from anyone to cancel her appointment and tell them we wouldn't be returning because of our last visit being so horrible the girl who answered the phone just said in a really upbeat and sarcastic voice "ok, bye!" And hung up. My dog was so traumatized after I picked her up. She wouldn't get out of her doggie bed to even go outside and potty. read more

I can't believe I wasted my $ on these people. What a rotten job they did on both cats. Fur was not fully brushed, especially underside. Absolutely no grooming done! What a waste of time. read more

I just moved to the area and was very nervous to find a groomer for my Pomeranian mix. His hair is unique and can be difficult to cut. I was so pleased with the outcome! Not only did they give him a perfect cut and make him look adorable, but their personalities and service also drew me in. When I walked in the shop, my dog's name was written on their chalkboard for appointments for the day. The staff gave me the friendliest greeting and listened to what I desired for my dog's haircut. We will definitely be back! read more

Pampered Paws - Bruno's Haircut - Pet Groomers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

My male Labradoodle came out looking like a female poodle, puffy head, and tail, skinny face and legs, but the worst part is how traumatized he was when I picked him up. My usually friendly, happy dog had his head hanging down, panting and drooling for an hour after our appointment. What did they do to him? To top if off, they outright lied to me when I booked the appointment and asked if our usual groomer, Rachel, would be working on him, saying "we can't guarantee you'll get Rachel." I didn't find out until after I picked up my traumatized dog that Rachel was long gone, replaced by 2 groomers, packed into the same small room, working on 3 dogs at once. Looks like they are taking advantage of the demand for groomers and choosing quantity and money over quality. We won't be back! read more

LOVED the way my pups looked after the were "pampered"! Finally got the schnauzer skirts that I've always wanted on my pups. Best ever! They will definitely be back! The owner and staff are amazing. The store is great as well and they loved their treat bag. read more

Brought in a long-haired foster dog that was COVERED in matted fur when our rescue got him. Amber talked me through the process, let me know what to expect, and then did an AMAZING job grooming a very unkempt and difficult little pup. He looks like a different dog now and seems so happy to have a fresh start! Thank you, Amber! read more

Lu looks and smells great after her spa day at Pampered Paws! My only complaint is that they are booked so far in advance so it really takes some planning - I guess that's a sign of good business though read more

I asked them to not shave my dog and that I would pay extra to demat her and try to keep her coat medium length and they blatantly disregarded what I asked and shaved my dog completely. Awful experience. Highly do not recommend. read more

They were amazing!!! My groomer was Rachael and she made my dog look so handsome. I have a reactive dog when being groomed and he has been 86'd from some other Denver groomers and after my 1st visit to pampered paws my dog has never looked better. They took great care of him and attention to detail. Thanks for the great service 10/10 would recommend read more

New to the neighborhood! We took our dog, Steve, in and used the self wash and it was pretty great and easy! Lots of great treats too. Steve ate his dried buffalo trachea in about 10 minutes, Try it out!! read more

My yorkie looked amazing after his grooming session! My little guy was a little anxious seeing how it was his first time there, but the very nice staff helped put both of us at ease. I will definitely keep coming here for all our dogs' grooming needs. read more

Do not get your dog groomed here! I was getting dog food in there and I could hear a poor dog whimpering in the back getting groomed. The lady in the back grooming him kept yelling at the dog to stop whimpering! Then someone in the back offered to help calm the dog down and the lady said no he is just being a brat and then yelled at the dog again. That is not a way to handle a dog that is clearly stressed out or in pain. Do not get your dog groomed here. I put my things back and walked out. read more

I took my Bernedoodle to Pampered Paws for a bath and brush. I asked them to barely touch her face and to give it only a slight trim, making sure to repeat this detail several times before dropping my pup off. When I picked her up it looked like they had shaved her face with a blindfold on. It was a choppy, uneven disaster. Staff was very nice and friendly, but were unable to follow the instructions I left. Safe to say we will not be returning to Pampered Paws.... read more

I've been looking for a consistent groomer for our 2 miniature long hair dachshunds and stumbled into Pampered Paws on the internet. OMG- what a fantastic find! When we went in for our appointment the store was adorable with cute harnesses and a variety of treats for sale, the staff incredibly friendly, and the groomer came out and met us to review what was needed and my worries. Our previous groomer had canceled on us all summer so our one dachshund with super fine fur was starting to get matted in certain areas. Our groomer did an amazing job cleaning him up and both our dogs looked amazing. Pampered Paws definitely gained a new customer and we already scheduled our next appointment. The prices are reasonable, the services offered are clearly defined and the staff were amazing. Pampered Paws is a true gem! read more

Didn't get my dog groomed, so this review is only about the store in general--great value and very kind service. I really like that this store is in the neighborhood and will be back. Only thing I'd suggest is putting in a plastic safeguard near the checkout. read more

After my previous groomer canceled my last two appointments, I was desperate to get my doodle groomed. What can I say... I have tried for 2 years since moving to Denver to find my golden doodle a great groomer and after today's visit, I have found just that. I don't typically leave reviews on places but I had to leave one for Pampered Paws. They did an INCREDIBLE job with Sadie and made her looking gorgeous but also made her feel at home. They let her sit with them behind the desk instead of putting her into a kennel and it honestly made me feel great. It made me feel that they actually cared about my pup unlike some experiences I have had in Denver. I highly recommend anyone looking for great customer service and great grooming to use Pampered Paws. Their front desk service and grooming services were incredible and accommodating. They also have great options for dog bandanas and cold gear. They also have some great dog treats that my dog is in love with now! You really get what you pay for and I would still pay more for the service we received! Great people, great grooming, great experience! read more
