When I told the unlicensed manicurists to stop. Why would you not apply polish all the way at the top?

I will start with my experience from beginning to end. First, I walked in and I am not fully white. I am multiracial and just moved to the area from California. I was the only customer at first, then a few minutes later a non- black/ non multiracial lady walked in and all the attention was taken away from me immediately. They started to do my pedicure and I felt like I has supervise them the whole time. The job was horrible. Usually i go to a nail shop to relax like a spa, but not here. This was the first nail shop I visited in in TX since moving from California a month ago. My feet were bleeding and I had to tell them to use rubbing alcohol. Even after that gel pedicure gel was applied in the wound plus, very sloppy all over the top of my toes on my skin without even removing it. The lady that was doing my gel manicure did not understand english and even though I told her to keep the length on my nails, she shaped them in a circle instead of square, which I requested. I lost all my length with her trying to fix it. She applied the polish not even covering my whole nail and I will post that pic. Also, the polish had hair or cotton and leaving lumps on the polish. More people came in and They rushed even more. I was on the phone talking about my finances to my husband and apparently the guy doing my toes was listening the whole time. So the guy was like "are you rich", I said you never knows who had money that's why you shouldn't judge a book by its color. After that, he started taking his time. The owner started talking Vietnamese to him for taking so long on me. Of course he would after the convo he heard. I was not even talking loud either. I understand Vietnamese and heard all the down talk about me and basically in the end they were telling him to hurry up because we need these non-color customers because they have money. I replied and said don't let her rush you. He didn't say anything else in that language. The guy doing my pedicure had to redo the lady who was doing the manicure all over. I lost all my nail growth from him trying to fix the manicure lady's crap. I doubt she had a license. She didn't understand English at all and the licensing test is in English. I will be reporting. My mother owned a salon and nail shop so I know what is right or wrong. This place was not doing things right. When adding the alcohol on my bleeding toe after I had to request, he wiped it with a towel that was already used. So unsanitary. I am sure I'm going to end up with an infection. Every person that came in there was complaining. This place is a shiit show. I just wanted my nails done right. I spent $127 for a gel manicure and pedicure. Also, they offer free alcohol. Everyone was offered one except me. Guess what race they were. I mentioned it and nothing. They cater to who they want and the race of their choice. I paid more than anyone who used their services because I was there 2 and a 1/2 hours. Then another customer was coming in and wanted to sit in the pedicure seat next to me so the lady who messed up my nails, moves my 3k Dooney & Bourke crossover purse onto a stool with my straps dragging down and almost rolled over it. Like Wtf, the only reason she stopped was because I'm like "No!!! what are you doing?!!!" Bottom line is, if you are non-color, they cater to you and think they are the only people who have money. If others walk in they rush and tell them an unrealistic wait time. They are not even there as a business to put out good nail jobs to act like that. All I saw was desperation for money and the belief that only non- colored people have money. What a shame! I only left the guy who had to re-fix everything a tip because i felt bad, not because he did a good job. I will never go back to this unsanitary shiithole. This is the longest review I have ever posted because it was the worse experience, I ever had at a nail shop in my life. I started going to nail salons when I was 13 and by far this is the worst experience I have ever had! I wish the owner would try to defend this because i swear my gel covered would will most likely get infected and i will make sure this never happens to anyone again. This is why I took the time to share my experience. BUYERS BEWARE!!! Excuse my typos or grammar. I just needed to let this out! This place should be shut down. Update: just realized I had no gel top coat for the left foot. Another lady came back while I was complaining about the same thing to the same guy. How does this happen smh. Please avoid this place. Took my pics. I have so much more to say but yelp limits characters. Please message me!
