I find it interesting that none of the reviews for the business included pedicures…read more I visited this business on 8/8/26 seeking a pedicure. Selected the $70 one with stones and paraffin etc. I felt this was pricy but the area probably allows it. It is 8/18 today and my feet still look like I didn't receive the pedicure. Lady tech ddnt speak English well. That is ok, But I was sure she understood I did not want gel again. Lady next to us translated my request. Stones were cold, lady warmed them up, and then burned my skin. I asked her to forget them. Kept telling her "no" with my hands. Our translator had left for the evening. This place does the nail polish b4 they do the pedicure. Never heard of that. They claim because of oils. Whatever, that is what alcohol is for. At the end of the service the "manager" insisted I get charged for the gel even if I ddnt ask for it. He said I should have payed attention to the lady's work. How about that.. lady tech confirmed I had asked for no gel. He ignored her. He charged me $90. Seemed desperate. Unbelievably rude of him. I don't live on that side of town. But I definitely will not return. I hope this post helps someone else decide if they will visit or not.

I only go here for the Aprés nails- they have a gentler application than other nail enhancements…read moreand are lighter. During this visit we got a full set Short- square- black French tip- they charged $65, which is pretty standard. Pedicure- BodiPure Reflex Keratin- $38- they do charge $10 to remove previous gel polish. The service uses the little cheap foot masks you can buy for $1- $5. The hot stone massage was nice. Truly don't know why places charges $10- $15 to remove gel as they don't use any additional products just fill off the older color and it's faster than doing a soak off. I brought my own polish for my toes- as I hate the $10 up charge for gel which again- saves them time because you cure them and not wait for the polish to dry.

It's been a while since I've updated my review and worth and update since they've changed ownership…read moresince my last review and they've made some changes over the years. Most importantly though, you can still reliably get a killer manicure and pedicure here. The attention to detail and level of care given is incredible. My faves Pink and Tina are still knocking it out of the park with the most impeccable manicures I've had and I really can't see myself trusting my nails with anyone else. And I've caved and tried a place or two over the last couple years and regretted it. Won't make that mistake again!! What's changed? I'd say they've added more staff to keep up with the demand. You still should always try to make an appointment. I don't go anywhere these days without an appointment. And they also have added a number of services including their new head spa services that lol pretty amazing. If I didn't already go for regular massages I might consider it. They also have all the trendy gels and dips and builders and that you might be looking for. Oh, and they recently upgraded all their massage chairs! How could I forget that!! I definitely highly recommend the Hand & Foot Spa. Again, just make an appt and be sure to get there on time. They're sticklers for keeping on time. Which, as a regular, I appreciate because nothing would annoy me more than having an appt and having to wait to I'm happy they are like that personally. Keep up the good work guys!!

VAN and TAN are the VERY BEST NAIL TECHNICIANS…read more From: Wanda F Though Van is always my requested nail technician, her partner Tan is as talented, capable and personable as she is. They both work together well and are always helpful towards one another when it comes to serving their customers. They both always make sure their customers are comfortable and satisfied. Van listens to what her clients want and then she may make suggestions or recommend different techniques that she feels are better suited for her clients, that she believes will best work for them. Van is extremely talented in what she does as a nail technician. She takes her time and makes sure that your nails are done RIGHT. I am always amazed at her hand painted art work. She specializes in acrylics and is quite knowledgeable in the different techniques of doing nails. She also is well informed about the health and care of your nails and cuticles. The pedicures are unbelievable too. The chairs are amazing and are guaranteed to relax you. I was informed that Tan is the one who is great with ingrown nail problems. He is very funny and witty and will have you laughing for sure. What l like a great deal about Van and Tan is how CONSISTENT and CAREFUL they both are in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for their clients. That was a main concern for me when l was looking for a nail technician. I was fortunate when l found Van and Tan. As a clean hygienic environment for their clients is a top priority for them. I highly recommend both Van and Tan. So if you're looking for the VERY BEST in a nail technician, call Sa'Vain Salon and ask them to schedule you an appointment with Van or Tan and tell them Wanda F sent you their way.

Up until a week ago I had visited the salon for mani/pedis which were always enjoyable. After a…read morebreak on fake nails for a couple of years, I decided I was ready to get nails once again. I arrived with no appointment, but i had called about 15 minutes prior to my arrival. I sat at the first table on the left side of the room (not next to the wall) with a mature technician. I showed her a picture of what i was wanting, more rounded coffin/oval shaped, and ombre natural to allow longer wear before a fill is required. I identified that I previously wore GelX, but was open to other options, but didn't want acrylic. She mentioned a couple of options, but she was difficult to understand. She understood my desire for ombre - i asked if she could do what i wanted and she said a very clear 'yes'. She started and asked a couple of questions of natural color preferences - i said that I would rely on her since i wasn't that picky. She started and was only the 3rd or so nail and a gentleman stopped by and was watching what she was doing and questioning what i was wanting. I explained i used to wear GelX but was open, but didn't want acrylic. He responded with "we do GelX. . . you do realize that's acrylic" - i didn't, but at this point i felt it was too late. I believe he was the one of the owners. She continued to do my nails and I became very concerned as i saw the fairly wide gap between the start of the acrylic and my cuticle. While I may be picky at times, the woman next to her was standing up and watching her work and chatting with her. Others stopped by to watch, including the same gentleman and a couple of other techs and I believe one of them was another owner. They all watched and never showed concern or spoke/questioned my Nail Tech. All i kept thinking was maybe there are different steps and once she continues my areas of concerns may be taken care of. Unfortunately, the product only got worse as she continued. Why didn't i complain? 1) I had already spent a good 1.5 hours in the chair and couldn't afford to waste any more time and 2) co-workers/owners watched throughout the entire time and didn't have any concerns with the quality of work at any time so I didn't expect anything to be different at the end. I've been in this situation with a quality concern quite a while ago and co-workers/owners stopped the work on their own and directed correction. Unfortunately, this didn't happen and I had to learn an expensive lesson. Not even a week later one of the nails broke off and I went to another nail salon which stated they needed to be fully removed as they were done wrong and were very much already lifting away from the nail bed. With all of this, I wouldn't have an issue with a mani/pedi at this salon but will not return for fake nails.
