I would not recommend this place. I then rang a place in navan to see if they could fix them and they said come in straight away, as the women in navan was doing my nails she showed me how easy it is to get a cotton pad and whip the fluff off and started to repaint, dont no why the women in the beauty clinic found the need to be so rude to a paying customer that walks in off the street alot of people dont make appointments and get there treatments done professionally this was not professional what happened that day and im sorry i did not ask for a manager as i was so angry because of how rude she was to me and i just left.

I hasten to add not tears of ecstasy. It's an odd relationship. You lie there with your head poking out through the hole of the massage table in your disposable knickers, hoping that you didn't miss a patch shaving your legs. But all that self consciousness evaporates when someone is digging their elbow in your back. "Just relax your leg." "I am." "Wow you are tense." Let me tell you feeling a popping sensation in your back is not hot. Having a masseuse take a focused battle to those muscles incites a range of emotions, such as you want her to win but you want her to stop too (she did ask me to speak up if the pressure was too much, so you do have control). "What popped?" "Oh that's just your muscles you have lots of knots. I am pushing them back were they should be." "Oh." "You are very tense." "I'm sorry." Why did I just apologise I asked myself. She looked at me with the same thought. "So yeah, you should do this more often." "OK." "Also you probably will be very sore tomorrow so get some anti-inflammatory cream." At this point you may be thinking, "Jez Annie you really sold this place to me and the massage." It was 20% bearable pain for me and the rest was very relaxing, also I opted for a deep tissue massage which as the name implies is not going to be sweetness and light. I also appear to be a very uptight person with an extraordinarily tense body. I have Woody Allen muscle tendencies. €60 for 1 hour. Usually it's €80 but they have loads of summer specials, just check out their website. P.S Thank you Edel N & Sharon C for liking my check in tip, your support carried me through the pain.

I made an appointment to get a 30min back massage in my lunch break the other day. My therapist was the lovely Laura who brought me to the relaxation area first and then offered me a robe. I told her I was on my break and needed to go back to the office so she tailored her usual routine to suit my schedule without compromising on time spent on my back. The massage itself was very good, good pressure and little talking - just the way I Iike it. The spa offers different deals depending on the weekday and they do run a loyalty scheme for returning clients. I will certainly be back soon and I will reserve the last star for when I tried one of their facials.

Thank goodness there's a beauty outpost air side, otherwise I simply would have no place to take…read morethese ragged cuticles and dull skin. At Nail & Beauty Lounge in Dublin's The Loop shopping zone, there's a pampering treatment for everyone: from 15 minute Jessica manicures at €25 to 25 minute pre-flight facials at €30, to manscaping or a revealing Brazillian (€50 for 50 depilatory minutes). Prices are surprising, as Nail & Beauty Lounge works to keep their rates competitive with Dublin salons rather than extorting trapped and hairy browed customers with no other option than a flourescent-lit ladies room mirror and a clothespin (remember, no sharp objects are allowed in carry-on). Bookings are available, but you're just as likely to get a walk in appointment given the long waits required these days between check in and boarding.

As well as giving you perfect talons (ask for Jungle Red) it also offers all the buffing treatments that you could ask for, including waxing, tanning, massage and facial and body treatments. All treatment times are under 55 minutes, so you won't miss your flight and two or more therapists can work on you at the same time, like that scene from the Wizard of Oz when Dorothy is getting a makeover.
