Had best massage by Marco who was AMAZING and had such a calm, relaxed presence. He took me around the whole beautiful spa (pilates and yoga rooms!) and was very proud of the place (nice to be around associates who take such pride in their work / salon). Marco is the best. My wife then went for her treatment only to be told it was a male therapist, which she wasn't prepared for and politely advised Giordan on reception of this fact, Giordan couldn't offer a solution and then left a voicemail message for her manager Tonya to call my wife, upon not receiving any call, my wife rang back an hour later and was advised the manager was due in so my wife said she would drop in to see her, after waiting on the manager, my wife was brought into a private room to talk where Tonya immediately went on the defensive, stating that my wife didn't know what she was talking about because I was told at the time of booking "over the phone" that this would be "Marco", she advised my wife she was beside the receptionist at the time of this alleged call. Firstly, the owner blatantly LIED, as all the correspondence was by email, secondly it was never stated that the therapist was a male named Marco, my wife requested a refund for the full treatment which never took place, only to be told by the owner this would not happen she would run her business the way she wanted and she was asked to leave the salon. My wife was extremely upset at how she was treated so I called the salon and spoke very politely with Jordan who passed on my concerns to Tonya. I since received a call from Tonya, who started by telling me how upset SHE was, at this point I began to advise her of her LIES, only to be hung up on. As someone who works in a Client facing business, this is the worst level of customer service I have ever heard about, I have also made my case that I have all the conversations when booking on email and that I will be looking into this further. No woman should be made feel uncomfortable or treated this appallingly for refusing a treatment with a male therapist.
