I was traveling and, after reading some of the other reviews, I was a bit on the fence--but I ended…read moreup being pleasantly surprised. When you first walk in, the salon does feel somewhat factory‑like with many stations, but the staff was surprisingly attentive. I came in for an acrylic fill, and they took the time to explain a different technique they use. It's still acrylic, just not the traditional powder method, and I appreciated how thoughtful they were about my cuticles and the length, since they had grown out quite a bit. They also made sure the shape worked well with the condition my nails were in. The entire experience was very pleasant, right down to the hot hand towels. Overall, it was a surprisingly great experience.

Also, I paid extra for reflexology but I'm afraid I received a massage instead. Not sure anyone is certified in pressure points but oh well. Finally, I asked for round-shaped nails and got square with rounded edges. Needless to say, I will not return to this sort of factory salon experience where your requests are ignored. It feels sterile and price-point oriented not customer-centered.

I love this salon and have been going here for over THREE decades! Hair + Nails + Boutique. The…read morevibe is relaxed and elegant. Both owners work alongside everyone else; they require all stylists to stay up to date with current trends through ongoing training and classes. I saw Karen's one-star review in May of 2026, and I had to shake my head!! The salon JUST lost two of its staff back-to-back to sudden and unexpected deaths, and it was a sad time for both clients and staff. I have NEVER been treated poorly by anyone at the desk, on the phone, or in the chair. The irony is that her name is Karen. She said she had been going to this shop for years. Wow, what a way to support a business while they are dealing with a tremendous loss. Clearly, they were doing something right up until this time, or she wouldn't have been going "for years." Insert an eye roll right here. Connie does my hair, but I have gotten to know all the girls in the salon and would trust any of them with my hair. Bibi does great nails, and see for yourself: all their tools are sterile! I took pictures of the nail tools months ago because I was SO impressed with this level of care!! You won't find that in the cookie-cutter nail salons that are on every corner.

Sorry to not be able to give a good review of my experience here. I really wanted to love this…read moreplace because the location was within walking distance and would be so convenient. However, the manicure I got was really subpar. I got it yesterday and it's chipping today. It's gel which typically lasts two weeks. I think it was just a young, inexperienced manicurist. The nail shape is bad and the polish looks like I did it myself using my non-dominant hand. She was very sweet, so those are my two stars.
