Don't know why the rating on this place is low, it's awesome! I've come many times for lunch. The prices are very reasonably - ranging for $6-13. There's wraps, rice dishes etc. Top dishes are the kebab, tandoori, and rice plates. Very authentic afghani food. I've been twice and quality is pretty consistent. I've gotten the classic kebab wrap...it's pretty tasty. Service is prompt too. I like the ambience as well, it seems likes it's been renovated and maintained. The seats are quite comfy. They also gave me a pitcher of water which was nice. The customer service was also friendly. Pamier is conveniently located in Meadowvale (across from Walmart). All in all, good value, great tasting food, good prices and nice ambience. I'll be back again soon! read more

We went for dinner last night, ordered 4 dishes , the person on the cash thought we ordered 5, he charged us for 5 dishes. We looked at the bill something didn't look right, so asked him , he said sorry, i charged you for 5 dishes. I will give you refund when you guys are done. After a while he came to us and said they don't have tandoori chicken , so i said just give me beef kebab. The dinner comes with a naan, which we had to remind him, the kebabs were actually burnt. Chicken Chaplee kebabs are hard to find. Mouth watering, delicious and sizzling ones are a plain rarity. Fortunately, we found a place which serves them with buttery flavoured rice with freakishly huge portion. And for the price they charge, it's a damn good deal. There is no table service which is quite alright since it's not a huge establishment. But, despite being an open kitchen, there is no odour or greasy edges to be found anywhere. We had the Chicken Kabob, Steak Kabob, Rice, Salad and Naan. Everything was excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and it will be my first stop when in town. The meats were cooked perfectly, tender and juicy, the rice (basmati) was perfect and the naan bread is awesome. read more

This is a generous 3 stars as the wait time for my food was eternal. I've been to their location in Brampton and they pretty much put of the food identically here - notably well-seasoned, high quality meats freshly cooked over a flame. I could see the place was busy, and I should've known it was going to take too long, but I still didn't plan for 30 minutes plus to receive two take out wraps. Shortly after I ordered, one person asked for a refund since she wasn't told how long the wait was and couldn't stay any longer. The explanation was that "it's prepared fresh", that's true enough, but having gone to the other location at a quieter time, I know it shouldn't take this long. I think there were literally 3 people working, and we're talking about lunchtime with orders being placed constantly, with a mostly full seating area of at least 20. There's just no excuse for that, and they really should be bringing in more help. They've also been open for several months, so they shouldn't be surprised. Still, I can't deny that it's very tasty, good quality food for right around $10. I'd just say to avoid lunchtime from my experience, unless you don't have to be back at work in a timely way. read more

My first time having Afghan food, I'll probably look for a restaurant close to my home town. The meat was freshly grilled and juicy. I ordered the Mazari Kabob, I could eat the bread day and night I loved the sauce and the meat was very tasty. The price was reasonable. read more

The food is really really fresh and the quality of the cooking is stellar! For the price of $16 I got 2 kebobs (chicken/beef) on salad and rice and a pita bread. Proportions are generous and the chicken in particular was delectable. The flavours were full and authentic as is the restaurant which is a family diner style. Love the availability of afghani "fast food" in mississauga ! High quality meat and chicken grilled on charcoal at very cheap price and very fast ! The sauces the salad the naan and especially the proteins just melt in your mouth ! My first time at this location right near the hotel i stay during my business trips, will definately come here more often and keep it on my list of top quick tasty food :)! Highly recommend ! The veal chaplee dinner with salad and naan was delicious. It does take longer because everything was made fresh to order so don't expect fast food times. The server and cook behind the counter was friendly and patient with our order. The salad was basic with the white dressing drizzled on top, it wasn't over dressed which is great! They had an amazing coleslaw on top which was vinegary goodness. The bread was warm and fresh and the vinegar red dressing was refreshing. The veal chaplee was flavorful, lots of different spice profiles and 2 large patties came with the meal. The chicken tandoori was also really good but I definitely would go back just for the chaplee. I tried their take out so I can't comment on the interior of the restaurant nor the service, so I'll focus solely on the food. We were a group of people so we ordered several different dishes to share family style. We tried the chicken breast kabob, the barg kabob, the shamie kabob, pamier salad, qabilee rice and afghani naan. All of them were delicious! The barg was super tender and nearly melted in your mouth and all of the other meats were cooked to perfection and juicy. I especially enjoyed the rice and the naan was addictive. The salad was a little uninspiring but the dressing was good enough to eat with a spoon! I will definitely be returning for any subsequent road trips to Toronto. read more

Had a wonderful experience the staff is very friendly and the place is kept very clean. They offer exact same menu as Bamyan on Dixie Eglinton and I find the taste more authentic than Bamyan. The place is not busy at all and you get your food fairly quickly with a good quantity same as Bamyan. They accept the credit card and offer lots of free parking in the plaza which is a good plus. There are tons of shops around the area this is the best for halal eaters. I would ditch Bamyan over this if they keep the quality of their food same. read more

Food was good but staff was rude and it was a bit chaotic and very slow. Didn't get utensils and everything I needed. I had to keep getting up to get stuff. Overall, wasn't a good experience. It was fast food, grabbed while shopping so it's not like I had huge expectations. But unfriendly staff just sucks and can ruin any dining experience. So many other restaurants around, I would just choose something else next time. There was also a big leak in the fridge where the drinks were and no one seemed concerned about attending to it, even after we notified them. So I have to revise mu review as after a while ai went back for some boulanee. The place has changed, amazing service the place is small and cozy with about 6 tables for some quick tasty food! The place was crazy busy at 7 pm on a Wednesday night! i had the boulanee, pudding dessert and a gigantic portion of the chicken soultani! We went in on a Sunday night. The place was not busy there was one other table waiting for a take out. We go in wait by the til to place an order and don't get any acknowledgement. After 5 minutes of waiting the staff behind the counter asks if we were there to place an order? I say yes. She goes ahead and takes our order. Takes about 15 minutes for the meal to pop up which is a decent time. We go up pick up our order from the counter. The food was very bland and lacked favor. I would like to give this location 0 star. We ordered a bunch of grilled meats for takeout- we specifically asked them for no beef, and were assured the items did not contain beef. This was the most disappointing meal that I've ever had. We ordered 8 meals to be delivered to our office. They ran out of lamb at noon. They only had 1 of 2 vegetarian meals and offered to replace it with a meat dish. They somehow don't understand what a vegetarian dish is. The actual meal itself once it showed up was so lacking in quantity that we all were complaining that we should have ordered from anywhere else. Went during lunch on a Saturday afternoon with husband and kids. The restaurant was empty but we still had to wait almost 30 min for the food. I asked one of the ladies working there if the chicken tandoori were whole pieces of chicken and not skewers. She told me it was, so I ordered it. However when I got the meal, it was tandoori chicken cubes (from a skewer). Very disappointed since I had asked beforehand. The chicken was mediocre, a bit on the dry side but not burnt. My husband ordered the bath kabob which he says were decent. However, there are only 2 high chairs, both of which are useless; one was missing the lap belt and the other had a broken buckle. I spent the entire time trying to keep my child from climbing out of the chair, so I couldn't enjoy the meal. Also one of the chairs at our table had a broken wood leg piece, and the nails were sticking out of it. This is not good and could be a hazard. Luckily my husband noticed it right away so I didn't sit in the chair (don't know if it's sturdy enough to be sat upon). Overall, okay meal but nothing spectacular. For the same price, I would go to a different Afghani restaurant (like Watan Kabob at Hurontario/Matheson). read more
