The garden has statuary that gives a gentle babbling of water amongst the flowers. It sets the stage for high expectations once you enter and you are not disappointed by any means. Once inside you are greeted and welcomed as if you are an old friend coming in from not having been seen in a long spell. Introductions follow, and then you learn that the store is comprised of products made by local members of the community. It provided me me an extra level of appreciation for the items in the store. They have a wide variety of items, such as earrings and other jewelry, hand towels, blankets, quilts, children's clothes, stuffies, a few books, candles, and more. They also offer embroidery services on things you buy in the store. Particularly, if you are looking for young baby or children clothing, they offer some embroidery that just makes them almost too precious! The prices on most things here did not seem terrible, especially when you factor in these items are handmade. Add to that the fact that this store truly offers the boutique experience and then you really start to appreciate the pricing structure here. Overall, it was a great experience and I recommend them for when you are shopping for that really unique item that tells someone you went the extra mile for them!

The store was surprisingly organized with a huge selection of clothing, and I scored some really good deals at a great price. Instead of a relaxed shopping experience, it feels like you're being monitored the entire time. The employees stationed near the fitting rooms act more like security guards than customer service associates. The tone was cold and overly watchful, as if every customer is automatically suspicious. It makes trying on clothes awkward and stressful instead of enjoyable. Retail is supposed to be about customer service and comfort -- not feeling policed while you shop. Definitely not the experience I expect from a department store like this. I won't be returning anytime soon.
