The staff is always super friendly and it's affordable. I have been going to Pam's for many years. They do good manicures/pedicures. Never had a bad experience.

Regular customers at Pam's. Very friendly employees and they do an awesome job on the nails. The one with the heart , Brandy did (p.s. Brandy is amazing with kids) The ombre one, Becky did. They both did an excellent job.

Woof woof!!! Can someone say barking dogs? I finished a 4 mile hike and yep my dogs were barking, so I decided to try this unassuming nail salon that is hidden away across from Intel Let me preface the following by saying I have NEVER gotten a quality pedicure in Burque without paying a fortune. I don't bother with most salons as the service usually is sub par. I have now found THE nail spa! Prices are fair...what I pay when I travel for a pedi. The salon is clean, bright and does not smell like most nail salons. As I walked in the staff greeted me with warm hellos and asked how they could help me. I was in awe of how quiet it was on Sunday, but I was later told that a crowd would be arriving later in the day. (they do take appointments--I saw a large ledger and a woman--Pam(?) scheduling one of the 'regulars") The pedicure chairs appear to be new and very clean...the entire salon is VERY clean! Lots of polish choices ( I brought my own) I was showed to the first chair..next to the adorable Hello Kitty chair for the little kids. As the tub was being filled I settled into my chair massage. I was greeted by Tony (I started to cringe...I really do not like men giving me pedicures but I though--ok give this place a chance) He quickly asked how the water temp was and if I wanted a regular or deluxe pedicure. He then explained the differences, but not the price. As I said before my feet where calling for help, so deluxe it was! A soak in the warms sudsy water, polish removal, and a super cuticle clean up. Not to gross anyone out but my nail bed is curved..prone to ingrown nails I've been told..Tony was so gentle but incredibly thorough in his task. No pain, no nipping of the skin, and constant cleaning of the tools with disinfectant. Tony continually asked if I was ok..just to make sure the pressure was not too much. Next was the exfoliation...ticklish? a bit? well my giggles warranted an apology. My lower legs were also treated to a scrub...peppermint gel and sugar(?) scrub was refreshing. A mud mask on my calves and warm paraffin on my feet..only to be covered with warm moist towels. AHHH Then my calves and feet were treated to the "reflexology" Lots of rose scented lotion and a serious rub down. Calves, shins, ankles, toes are so very happy right now! My tootsies are beautiful. The polish expertly applied and cleaned up any minor errors This is what I have been missing! At $32 including tax this was well worth an HOUR of my time! yes an hour! (BTW the chair massage was kept running the entire time---no stoppage for the polish) I am thrilled at the quality of service here. Tony is a magician! I will be a regular here Thank you for such a wonderful experience

Brought my daughter here because she wanted a new set, it was on the way into town and the reviews were decent as well as prices. The lady who did her nails was really pushy when we told her just regular polish. She was very insistent on gel and that it last longer, which I'm well aware of however we know what we wanted. She cut her fingers in several places and was still making comments about how gel polish would dry faster. Had my daughter told me before we left that comments were being thrown around I would have brought it to her attention and not have left such a great tip. Their pricing needs to be updated on services that are posted here on Yelp, they are not accurate. I think the staff needs to be understanding and accepting on what their customers want and ask for. We will not be back!!

Where she cut me with the hand piece she was using

I have never really had a problem with any nail salon I've gone to. However the lady who did my nails here wasn't very good at all. Not only did she cut my fingers numerous times with the hand piece she was using, but she also cut me with scissors and laughed when I said ow and pulled away. Another thing was that one of my nails was completely crooked. I told her a number of times that the nail wasn't straight, but she insisted that it was. Needless to say I will never go back.

The pedicure was actually great -- the guy who did it did an awesome job and I was really happy with that part of the service. Unfortunately, my experience with the rebase was very different. The tech didn't greet me or say much at all during the appointment. He filed my nails down way too much, leaving them extremely thin and uneven, and the acrylic powder he used was a completely different color than what I originally had from my previous stylist. When I asked for a simple blue French tip with a glitter border, he initially wasn't even going to put a base coat, which would have made the two different acrylic colors visible. When I asked about it, he seemed annoyed. He did one nail for the French tip and asked if it looked okay. I politely asked if the tip could be a little thicker, but he barely adjusted it and immediately motioned for me to put my hand in the curing light. At that point I didn't feel comfortable continuing to correct him because he seemed offended by feedback and wasn't really listening. I ended up leaving pretty unsatisfied. When I got home and looked at my nails more closely, I also noticed that a couple of them were extremely crooked and I actually had to fix them myself. My husband even wanted to go back so they could fix it, but honestly I was already frustrated and didn't want to sit there another two hours to have it redone. The pedicure was great, but unfortunately the rebase experience left me disappointed. I included what I asked for and what I walked out with.

My nail tech was fantastic. I appreciated that the tools used came out of one of those blue sanitary packs (post service I was offered the files that were used for my feet and toes to take home), and the products used were quality too. The scrub smelt delicious (fall/pumpkin season inspired) and felt perfect (not too rough, not too delicate). The polishes offered are Ella & Mila (I don't recall what the gel offerings were). I got the most expensive pedicure available at the time (#TreatYoSelf) as I was in town for a wedding and wanted to do something a little luxurious. After tax it was $75. Yes Natural Nail Boutique is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY but if there's no appointments available you can always try checking the following day (that's what I did; I checked on a Wednesday with no luck and then when I looked again on Thursday there suddenly was a Friday appointment available). The vibe is luxury without being uppity. Wish we had a place like this in Reno, NV! What a treat!

I feel like my total hasn't been cheaper then what I'm use to paying though. I wish their receipt gave details as to what you are paying for. I payed separate last visit for my daughters mani, then I paid for my fill and pedicure the total for my mani & pedi alone was 162... I did get a design so maybe that's what racked up my bill or maybe they charged my daughters manicure to my bill a second time not realizing I already had paid cash for her... I checked the receipt but like I said it doesn't specify what you got. On a good note I love my nails I came and saw Trinity 3 weeks ago and thankfully I got to reschedule with her a second time. The customer service here is great. A lot of funny conversations. The atmosphere is fun the nail techs and the customers are always so happy. Trinity did my eyebrow wax last time I was here and I loved how fresh they looked! I'll continue seeing her while she is here. She's moving in April so I recommend seeing her before she leaves to Florida because she is amazing! When she leaves I'll see Abby, the owner sits right by her so I've seen her work and she is just as great. Kim did my daughter's manicure and they were my daughters favorite! I'll make sure my daughter has her nails done again by Kim. A girls happy place is definitely Abby's Nails! The experience is always sweet.

I immediately called the salon and was told to come in the following day to have them fixed, free of charge. When I arrived, I spoke with the owner--who also happened to be the one who did my nails. I explained the issue and showed her the peeling. Rather than taking accountability, she blamed it on oil or lotion on my nails or claimed she may have been having a "bad day" when she did them. I asked if she could fix them, and she said she could, but that I'd have to pay again for a rebase. When I requested a refund instead, she pointed to a sign stating "no refunds after 3 days." I reminded her that she did the work and admitted it might not have been done properly. Still, she refused to make it right. At that point, it was clear she wasn't going to stand behind her work. I left extremely disappointed, not just by the poor quality of the nails but by the complete lack of professionalism and accountability. Getting your nails done is not cheap, and customers have every right to expect quality and durability--especially within the first week. Five days is far too soon for acrylics to be lifting, and blaming the customer instead of owning the mistake is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this salon, and I won't be recommending it to anyone. If this is how they handle legitimate concerns, it says a lot about their standards and customer service.
