Erin did our engagement photos in the mountains, and we brought our puppy. We thought it was going to be tough to do get the shots we wanted with the puppy, but apparently she is a dog whisperer and the photos turned out amazing! Erin and Breanne did our wedding day photos and we couldn't have asked for a better duo! They work so well together and had perfect time management. Despite having a large wedding party and a ton of family, they were able to capture all the images we wanted. After our first conversation on the phone I felt 100% comfortable giving her all the reigns and letting her do her thing for our wedding day. I booked Erin and Louis for our wedding last year and I am so excited to have them take our pictures for our engagement and wedding. Its coming up soon! I looked through tons of photographer websites online and their pictures were exactly what I wanted. Crisp, colorful, artistic and lots of attention to details. They also have great personalities which is important since they are going to follow us around all day! I will update you when I get my photos! When I got my engagement photos, they were beautiful and Louis is great about accepting feedback so your wedding pictures will be just what you want. Shortly after the wedding, I saw a sneak peek of my wedding photos on the Palos blog and they are exactly what I would have wanted. Beautiful! After I saw all of my photos, I would say I am still very happy with my photos. They are colorful, vivid, good content for our posed photos like in the vineyard and in the barrel room. I would just suggest that they pay slightly more attention to fixing things that are out of place on the people in the photo, like straps on a dress or suggesting to un-button a jacket that looks too tight, etc... other than that the photos were gorgeous and I recommend them to anyone. read more

I had known Louis for sometime and always loved the photos him and Erin would take. I loved them so much that when I met Glenn, I told Louis that he will be the photographer at our wedding, a little presumptuous. I got married two years ago and used Palos Studios for our photographers. I was nervous about the engagement photos because I feel like unless I absolutely try, I can't take a great photo. When we got our photos back I was very happy with the result. My favorite photos out of the bunch are the ones that my hubby (then fiancée) and I didn't even know were being taken. I loved it! My husband found Palos Studio through their online blog, and we loved their work right away, but their packages were out of our price range. When we approached them about creating a package that would work for our budget, they were really flexible and came up with something that worked for all of us!! On the day of the wedding, Erin and Louis were great! They were very professional, and patient. Louis even figured out how to work my A/C (which I have never totally figured out in the five years we have lived in our home!), so that we all could be nice and cool while we get ready. The photos turned out great! Palos even sends out your disk in a cute little book, which I was not expecting, and it was a nice surprise. One negative note: we did not get all of our "must take" photos. I provided a list to Erin and Louis maybe a month before the wedding and then never thought about it again. After the wedding, our friend who officiated the wedding mentioned that we never got a photo together. At the time I didn't notice because everything was so hectic, but now I realize that he was right, and I know that was one of the photos on my list. I don't know if Erin or Luis lost or forgot the list, or if I should have had another copy with me on the day. But this was kind of disappointing. I didn't check if any other shots were missed, because it's too late to do anything about it now if they were. read more

I met with Erin and she's super sweet and has done tons of weddings all over Southern California and familiar with a lot of venues and locales. I booked Erin and Louis of Palos Studio for my wedding back in 2010 and they have now become what feels like our "personal" photographers. We wont use any one else! :) Booking them for our wedding was such a blessing. Many things from our big day did not go as planned but you would never know it with the STUNNING pictures that we have. I love their creativity and wonderful energy they bring to your event. Erin and Louis both have very keen eyes and capture not only the "big picture" from an event but all the tiny little moments that make that day special. They really go above and beyond to make your event special even if it means getting wet at the beach or tromping through bushes to get just the right angle on a shot. We have now been using them for almost four years from engagement pictures, wedding photos, family sessions, maternity, newborn and special occasion pictures and we are blown away every time we receive our images. We are so happy we booked with Palos! They are incredibly artistic, a great deal for what you get and give you the most stunning photos you could imagine. We care a lot about pictures and memories and that's one of the things we wanted to really invest in for our wedding. They did our engagement also and we are really happy with everything and have gotten tons of compliments from friends and family. The turn over time takes a while, (8-10 weeks) just so you know, but it's totally worth in because they are editing and perfecting over 1,000 photos! They even filmed a part of the wedding where my husband sang to me for his vows, and got us our thank you card photo early. We got a print of one of our favorites and it was very well done. I wish I can give a better review...I really wish I can and I have waited to review them because i wanted to give them a chance to make things better... First off, I would like to start with what's great. The pictures from the proof look great. Unfortunately, I can't say for certain the product is great because I am still waiting for my copy of my pictures. It's been two and a half months since our wedding and we still haven't received our copy. The worst part is that I feel like I have to hound them to even get an answer as to where my pics are. When we signed with them, we were told their turn around time was 2 months and we were fine with that. When 2 months came, I never heard from them. I had to send them repeated emails before I even got an answer back that our wedding was next in line for editing. A week after that, I had to send another follow-up email as to where things stand. They responded by saying the proof was ready for us to view and that they will be sending out our images in the mail. It's been almost 2 weeks with nothing in the mail and I had to send another email this morning. It's been 5 hours and still no response. I am highly disappointed at the lack of communication and DO NOT recommend them as the photographers. No bride should have to chase down their photogprahers for pics. read more

I just want to start off by saying how AMAZING this company is and how wonderful their team is! We booked Palos Studio on such short notice due to having to move our wedding date WAY up. Erin was an absolute sweetheart from the start. She showed us several books from their portfolio and I instantly knew they would be the perfect people to capture our wedding day. Upon booking Palos Studio, we were informed Breanne would be our lead photographer for our big day so Erin set up our engagement session with Breanne so we could get to know her a little better. Upon meeting Breanne, we clicked instantly! She is so genuine and wonderful and made us feel completely at ease while taking our engagement photos. After having that first session with her, I knew we would be in great hands for our wedding! If I could give a higher rating for this fantastic duo then I absolutely would. In my opinion, Erin and Louis are a 10 out of 10!! We booked Erin and Louis for our engagement and wedding photos this past year. We found out about them through separate friends who used them for their wedding. Honestly... these two are the BEST. Erin shot our engagement pictures with her assistant and we had so much fun. My husband and I were kind of nervous throughout the experience because we really didn't know what to expect, but Erin really guided us through the whole process and placed us in different ways to make us look our absolute best!!! For our wedding day... well... where do I begin? First of all, Louis and Erin both showed up which was a huge surprise. I thought Erin and an assistant were going to come, but Louis ended up coming which was a MAJOR hit. Louis spent most of his day with the guys and Erin spent most of the day with the girls so it worked out perfectly. They both are very creative, and REALLY fun!! Throughout our wedding day I was asking Erin questions all day because I trusted her opinion of what we should do with different pictures (she even helped me cut the cake!!!). They took SUCH amazing shots of our venue, our ceremony, and our reception, our friends, and our family. Erin caught some very intimate shots with my mom and I prior to our ceremony. Considering my dad had just passed away my mom and I would sneak away and say a quick prayer to him... sneaky Erin caught many of these moments which I am incredibly grateful for. To add to this, we were recently accepted into Style Me Pretty blog (check that site out too!)!! Palos photography absolutely is the best. You will definitely have a great experience with this team. Erin and Louis are absolutely amazing! When I first came across their website I was so impressed with their work that I was sure that they had to be out of my budget. I figured I'd shoot them an email anyway just in case and I was so happy to learn that they were both in my budget and available for my wedding day! From the moment I received my first email response from Erin they have been nothing short of amazing to work with. Erin was so great about responding to my many (and there were many!) emails and she never once made me feel like I was bugging her (which I'm sure I was!). She was always so kind and so professional. On the wedding day they were true professionals, they always managed to be everywhere they needed to be to get the shot and yet I never once felt like they were in the way. I was so happy when I received the images from my wedding day, I actually had a really hard time narrowing down the 1200 images for my album. There were really so many great pictures to choose from! Since my wedding I have been really fortunate to have Erin shoot many more important events in my life. Erin was the photographer at my sister's wedding and she also took the first holiday photos for my family after my first daughter was born as well as the maternity/family photos when I was pregnant with my second daughter. We could not be more unhappy with our wedding and engagement photos. We are devastated. I could not be more devastated by the fact that Palos Studious ruined our wedding pics. We hated our engagement pictures, but were hoping that our wedding pictures would turn out better - as Erin was not there for our Engagement pics and we spoke to them specifically about what shots we were looking for. We also found them and saw their portfolio and website and thought their pictures were amazing - really beautiful. But I'm guessing that out of thousands of wedding photos you could find a few amazing ones to put on your website. Out of over 1200 pictures taken at our wedding, I can honestly say there are maybe 5 that are nice. The lighting was bad in most shots, the placement of people, the angle, etc. It looked as though they took all the photos in a huge rush and did not know what they were doing. In fact almost everyone that looks at our photos says just that. In fact, they were so disliked, no one ordered any pictures - not even our parents because they were all so bad. :( I had to fill out a list of pictures that were important to be taken by them prior to the wedding - they did not take the 2 most important that i emphasized, even that day, I said to make sure those pictures were taken and they did not. Not only that they did not take several pictures of the family after the wedding - there are no shots with my parents and myself & husband. there are no shots of the bridal party and myself - just the guys. They didn't line anyone up or place them correctly. The shots of the guys - look like they are standing on a trail just hanging out (although they don't look candid) - my husband - the groom is off to the side in and the best man is in the spot the groom should be. Everyone has commented about how poor the shots are. They also never took the time to fix my dress, veil, or anything in ANY shot. There are some shots that could have been okay but my dress is call crumpled up underneith me and my veil is all balled up due to wind .. when the shot they were taking was OF the dress. I do not have ONE shot of my dress all spread out and nice. They have a shot of my necklace close up and didn't even bother to straighten it (the little dangly part at the bottom is off to the side). They took lots of shots of the set up of the wedding but none once it was set up so we have tons of shots of flowers half put together, tables half set, candles not lit, but not one single shot of a table or reception room completely set up and pretty. And the most appalling, they couldn't fix the problems on the pictures before they sent them to us... (the ones that came with the package). My husband knows photoshop well and HE had to take Louis out of one photo and recrop it, fix the lighting in it .. they asked if he could crop it to fit the photo size and re send it to them to be printed. I could NOT believe they were not capable of fixing their photo errors and we had to do it !!!! And not to mention they never return calls or emails, it takes average 3 emails along with 3 phone calls before they will respond to anything throughout the whole process. Even the week of the wedding - they did not let me know their timing until the day before. This was a huge frustration for myself and my husband throughout the planning. I cannot say enough bad things about how our pictures turned out and how poor their service was.. Just the fact my husband had to fix the photos and they couldn't should tell you. read more

We got married in March of 2019, but it has taken me awhile to leave a review because I am still a little upset with the products we received. We had Erin (owner) and Breanne at our wedding. Erin stayed with us ladies and Breanne went with the men. I feel like Breanne captured better photos, and Erin's were just okay. I am still upset that there were no specific pictures of my parents together other than walking down the aisle. I would have assumed that that type of photo is standard with a wedding package but I guess I am wrong. Breanne got plenty of pictures of my in laws together, but Erin did not take the time to get my dad back up to get pictures with my mom (I don't feel as this is something that we should have mentioned because weddings are already stressful). The editing was also not that great. Some of our pictures could have used a little more time to remove some items (fire extinguishers for example). Most of the pictures are beautiful, I am just truly disappointed for what we received and the money that was spent. The communication also lacked and that probably played a part in missing out on some photos. read more

I have contemplated writing a review since my wedding, and a year later I finally decided to do it. My mom and I had made an appointment to view the Padua Hills Theatre to host our wedding, when we viewed them they gave us a DVD of Palos Studios portfolio, and the pictures were absolutely beautiful. From then on I knew I wanted them to be my photographers, but unfortunately that was the worst mistake. We worked with their associate photographer Breanne. She was super nice, there's no doubt about that, but I hated my pictures. We took engagement pictures with her, and I only liked 3 out of like 50 pictures. I was nervous about my wedding at that point, but we already signed a contract. My wedding came around, and when I got my pictures and I was crushed. I didn't even want to post them online because I was so upset that they were not well taken. It took me about 5 months to even show my mom and my family. I wanted a specific picture taken of my wedding ring, my moms, and my grandmas because we were 3 generations and it came out absolutely horrible! She took about 4 and they were all horrible. Like I said it took me a very long time to come around and write a review; however, these were my wedding pictures, pictures and memories that were in essence ruined. read more
