I'm so glad we did! The moment we arrived, Craig came out to help us, showed us our options, and gave us a quote. Craig is very sweet, friendly, knowledgeable and carefully explains the details of the products. His customer service is amazing. After we left the shop, we knew we had to go with Royal Draperies! As soon as we got into our new home, we contacted Craig to let him know that we wanted to go ahead and order the blinds. He immediately came out and particularly measured each window for a good fit. A couple weeks later, the blinds were installed and they look amazing! The blinds fit perfectly into each window and the quality of the product is excellent. I'm so happy that we went with Craig and Royal Draperies. It was well worth price to have them install the blinds and get the job done right. I'm so glad we didn't do it ourselves. A couple of our guild members recently visited the store and were treated in a rude and disrespectful manner. Their experience has since been shared with the rest of our guild, and it left a very negative impression. I personally shopped there in November and also experienced the owner being quite rude. At the time I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and assumed it might have just been a bad day. After hearing how other members of our guild were treated, it's clear that the poor customer service was not an isolated incident. Quilters want to support local quilt shops, but courtesy and respect toward customers should be expected. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience here, and many of our members will be taking their business elsewhere.

While the store is definitely tailored towards quilting, they have an incredible selection of cotton fabrics, sewing tools, cutting tools, elastics, etc. I could've gotten lost just checking out all of the prints and patterns - wish I had more time to look around! I did find what I needed thanks to the person working there. He was super friendly and very helpful in locating materials and providing recommendations for fabric/material measurements based upon my project.
