My new installation of Harmar lift was sparking fire and my scooter tipping over while I was trying to find somewhere to pull over to seek safety. Upon off the road parking and attempting to get the scooter maneuvered back onto the lift and finding out that the lift wouldn't go up any further than 2 inches from the ground While leaning back toward the road. Good people this tragedy was unfolding at 1 AM in the morning. I immediately realized I was not going to make it any further down the highways of interstate 85. I called the company that did my lift installation only to have them remind me what time it was and then they hung-up in my face. I was stranded on the side of the road trying to call out to any Harmar installer in my cell phone range for help. People drove by so close to my vehicle that it would shake rapidly with vibrations. No one stopped and no one answered at many of the Harmar agencies dialed. Those who did answer where too far away to help and most said call my Harmar installer. Well, I tried that first and some good that did me. But one retailer answered and spoke with me to help me stay calm and feel safe throughout my entire ordeal; Steve at "Helping Wheels, Inc . I was so upset and physically shaken from being barely off the busy highway interstate 85 with a scooter and lift hanging to the ground. Steve spoke so nice to and really made me feel safer just being on the line with him. If ever I'm in his city of Asheville I will make it my business to meet him in person. What he did meant so much to me. It spoke volumes about his character and showed me that his business will grow beyond his wildest dreams. Even after finally communicating with the company that did my installation and having waited until 10am ... yes, that's right from 1am until 10am I was sitting in my car with the broken lift and a golden champion scooter hanging to the ground. I was waiting for a welder to show up to roadside repair my lift. Only he couldn't do it cause no shop with a lift would allow him to weld near a vehicle's full fuel tank. Steve from Helping Wheels was still checking up on me until I finally got repaired around 5pm and made it home safely by 2am the next day. If you guys on wheels need repairs done or just need wheels don't hesitate find Steve and let him be your guardian angel from start to finish. He was such a God sent blessing on the other end of my call for help that I will always be forever grateful. Thanks again Steve.

Horrible service, complete crooks. Was "prescribed" a shoe for a broken toe by Range Urgent Care,…read morebut they were out of my size so they sent me to Orthopedic Appliance Company. They charged me $45 for a shoe was inadequate and made my toe feel worse. I went back to the Range the next day and they represcribed me a boot ($60) which immediately felt better and took the pressure off my toe. I called Orthopedic Appliance Company company to return the shoe and was told I could not return it and was just out the $45 I spent on a shoe I didn't even wear for 12 hours. Any other company will accept returns/refunds on an inadequate product. Insane to me since I didn't walk into the business and hand pick the shoe, it was prescribed to me. Complete robbery.

My previous pair of orthodic inserts were made by Skyland Orthopedic or Othodics, can't remember…read morethe 2nd word. They fit into all my shoes perfectly without any issue. My Brooks sneakers, my Tom's, and an off brand of sneakers. BUT, the ones I just picked up from Orthodedic Appliance Company are way too long. They don't even fit into my hiking shoes which are a little longer than the other pairs. Now I need to gather up the 4 pairs of shoes to bring them in to the shop so the inserts can be trimmed to fit. I'll drop them off and make another trip to pick them up as I don't fancy waiting around forever to do it while I wait. Speaking of waiting...they had me make an app't to pick up the inserts which surprised me. Kept me waiting 20 min after my app't time before someone came into the room. He then said the order as written by their front desk was to have an app't when really I could have just picked them up at the desk! Since the Skyland inserts hadn't been fit to shoes prior to their making, it never occurred to me. AND to add insult to injury, so to speak, I had opted to have Orthopedic App Co "renew" my old inserts as opposed to making new ones. So as explained and shown to me that involved separating the two layers of the insert and replacing the now thinned layer with a new one. Therefore, they had, in effect, a template to work with....the layer they were supposedly keeping. I wish I'd chosen to have the Rx sent to Skyland instead of here but this was closer. So, I cannot recommend this company.

IF I could give a zero I would. Run away. DO NOT use these guys for Oxygen concentrators. Long…read morestory; no bills for 6 months. Finally get a bill. Call and call and call to discuss. NOBODY answers their phones. All automated, and it cuts you off. Then my insurance company dropped Lincare. The "new supplier" never showed to bring the new equipment, and Lincare didn't come to get theirs because I didn't have replacement equipment in place. I got so fed up with this "new company" who never contacted me or showed, I bought my own portable and home concentrators from Inogen. Thousands of dollars later, I now own my equipment, and don't have to rely on the non-existent customer service and billing of Lincare. Run the other way.

Rotech sucks!!!! Haven't heard from them in almost two years, no new tanks, absolutely no contact…read morewith them at all although I have tried to reach out to them! I found a new supplier and now all of a sudden they are in touch to come get their lousy equipment!! Anyone would be crazy to use Rotech... They absolutely suck and need to be out of business!! Social media definitely knows as I have informed the people how bad they are!!! No contact in almost two years but yet they still took money from my insurance!!! Shame on you!!!!
