The price was more than fair, at $50 a day, and the scooter surprisingly fit perfectly in the trunk of my Nissan Altima!! (It broke down into several pieces which Steve demonstrated while loading it into my vehicle for me.) I was ready, watching the news with phone in hand, from 7:30 on. At 8:10, I got a call, but it was an automated reminder for my wife's appointment later in the morning. At 8:25, I called because I knew the Mission Urology office is very busy and understaffed, like all of HCA. The person who answered the phone wanted to argue with me that they had called and that I answered. I said I answered the robocall but had not received any other call while I was ready an hour and a half early. He read my correct phone number but then said there was a message left. I told him my phone can prove that's false. In scheduling, the older lady really needs to retire. If she's not snippy and short (I let my wife call for me because she seems to have a way with the woman), she often fouls up the time. Once, for example, a 10 am appointment was scheduled for 1 pm. Amelia, though, always reads the details back, so if there's a mistake, it's on you if you don't correct it. I have Vaya Health Transportation and usually use them and rely on MoMo just for the group trips to the store. I just didn't have a two-day notice to get Vaya for this appointment.

They charged me $45 for a shoe was inadequate and made my toe feel worse. I went back to the Range the next day and they represcribed me a boot ($60) which immediately felt better and took the pressure off my toe. I called Orthopedic Appliance Company company to return the shoe and was told I could not return it and was just out the $45 I spent on a shoe I didn't even wear for 12 hours. Any other company will accept returns/refunds on an inadequate product. Insane to me since I didn't walk into the business and hand pick the shoe, it was prescribed to me. Complete robbery.

My previous pair of orthodic inserts were made by Skyland Orthopedic or Othodics, can't remember…read morethe 2nd word. They fit into all my shoes perfectly without any issue. My Brooks sneakers, my Tom's, and an off brand of sneakers. BUT, the ones I just picked up from Orthodedic Appliance Company are way too long. They don't even fit into my hiking shoes which are a little longer than the other pairs. Now I need to gather up the 4 pairs of shoes to bring them in to the shop so the inserts can be trimmed to fit. I'll drop them off and make another trip to pick them up as I don't fancy waiting around forever to do it while I wait. Speaking of waiting...they had me make an app't to pick up the inserts which surprised me. Kept me waiting 20 min after my app't time before someone came into the room. He then said the order as written by their front desk was to have an app't when really I could have just picked them up at the desk! Since the Skyland inserts hadn't been fit to shoes prior to their making, it never occurred to me. AND to add insult to injury, so to speak, I had opted to have Orthopedic App Co "renew" my old inserts as opposed to making new ones. So as explained and shown to me that involved separating the two layers of the insert and replacing the now thinned layer with a new one. Therefore, they had, in effect, a template to work with....the layer they were supposedly keeping. I wish I'd chosen to have the Rx sent to Skyland instead of here but this was closer. So, I cannot recommend this company.
