Just two days ago…read moreWNC Towing made it up here in a very timely manner with no issues, but Hatton's wouldn't even try. On top of that, the driver was threatening and hateful with me, telling me he was going to leave my car in the middle of a busy state road. My two-wheel drive Kia makes it up the driveway just fine, and I even offered him an alternative drop-off location less than two minutes from the original spot, but he refused. Instead, he left my car on the side of the road, not at the church like I asked. Now we're stuck figuring out how to get it home ourselves. Really unprofessional and disappointing experience. He was very rude.

Completely off the beaten path, middle of nowhere, someone else's property by mistake, mud, car on top of a stone, wheels spinning free, basically f.....ed. Carolina towing was amazing. They have sent their great crew with 2 wreck trucks. The 2 wheel drive didn't even attempted to go up there. The 4WD tried but it started spinning wheels on mud almost right away. They didn't give up and brought the truck all the way up the hill by hooking the whinch on trees and basically pulling their tow truck up the hill. Once up there, even more experience come into play and they hooked my car front tire to the whinch, around a tree and off she went, free and ready to come down. I really have to say what an amazong job and more so the attitude to don't give up was impressive. They committed to the success of the rescue, used all the equipment and experience they had and succeeded! Amazing job! If you ever will be as stupid as i was to get stuck lile that, call no one but Carolina Towing!!!!

We were unfamiliar with the area and were extremely exhausted dealing with warranty and insurance roadside dispatch to have multiple service companies cancel after realizing it was a specialty tow. Hunter called after receiving our claim from dispatch, talked with my husband, and showed up anyway to see if he could help troubleshoot or help us with a plan- he was very knowledgeable (all at 11:00 pm on a Saturday). Although we had to sleep at the gas station, he made us feel comfortable with the area, made an excellent referral to another local company, and followed up with us the next day. Hunter went above and beyond and was the only person in this ordeal who cared about us as a customer. Character matters and I highly recommend their services and confident you will be treated with the utmost respect.

I had a motorcycle towed and after the tow they called me and were concerned about leaving the bike in the lot with a key out. The operator did not want my bike to get stolen and asked if it was ok for them to store the bike for the night. They did this free of charge.

Obviously…read morenot knowing what was wrong, they told me there would be a diagnostic fee of around $99 to see what the issue was. When I tried to confim with them that it would not exceed 99$ they responded that it may be as much as $120 if it took longer. When I asked again that it would not exceed $120 they confirmed, that would be the maximum diagnostic fee. So I had my truck towed to Domestic. They had the truck for 8 days and I decided to call to see what the deal was. They said they had not looked at it yet and they had a month backlog. I responded that it would have been nice to have been informed of beforehand, but can you try and fit me in sooner. I admit they did get someone to look at it and the people were very nice. But no one ever even called me back, so after another 4 or 5 days I called to see what was going on. They told me that they had diagnosed the issue and it was a defective computer module. The cost to replace (including the diagnostic fee) would be $1080. I said that seemed expensive since I can get a computer module online for $299. They said they would try to find a cheaper solution. I never heard back from them, so I called and asked if I supply the new computer what would my bill be. They told me it would be $369 - $169 for the diagnostic fee and $200 to install the new computer. Knowing that replacing the computer is a VERY simple job, coupled with the fact that they just charged me $50 more for the diagnostic fee than they had promised, I told them to stop all work and I will get the truck towed back home. So I paid the $169 (+3% credit card fee and taxes) -almost $200! When I went to install the new computer I opened the hood and found that they had taken apart a bunch of components and left them just lying there. Nuts were missing to hold the air filter cowling and 2 grounding straps were left dangling. So after I fixed what thet had left for me, I installed the computer in 5 minutes (less actually). They wanted $200 to install it, at that rate. they are charging $2400 an hour. Domestic Auto is a nice place with nice people and if you dont mind paying $2400 an hour to get your vehicle serviced. then this is the place for you.
