First, they sent a studio box for my 1 bedroom apartment. Of course my things didn't fit so then they had to call for another box. The movers were unprofessional and didn't wrap any of my furniture and sat and did nothing while they were waiting for the second box to come. They could have finished moving things down the elevator. Then they tried to charge me for the time we had to wait for the other storage box to come. It doesn't end there. Now, I have had to pay almost double for storage for a year because of their mistake. I'm ready to move now and they quoted me 3K to move my things to Melbourne. I called A2Z Moving and they are doing it for $1,300. More than that, I'm just trying to confirm that I can schedule my move and some guy is supposed to call me back but guess what, he never does and the guy I just spoke to hung on me. These guys are a nightmare. Stay away. Update, I did finally speak to someone and now since they didn't call me back, I have to reschedule my move since they can't get my boxes out of storage in 2 days. They need 5 days. I need a birth certificate document for a citizenship appointment and now I'm completely hosed. What a mess.

Palmers Relocations are…read morenothing short of the worst service I have ever seen but also heartless My elderly mother needed to put her items into storage which was due to an insurance claim whilst repairs were made to her home. The builders appointed Palmers Relocations. They turned up in a truck which gave me little confidence they were as professional outfit but I thought I would leave them to it. I discussed with the team not to pack my mothers office area as it was not needing to be moved and had allot of my mothers documents and medication. They understood and I went to collect my mother from a medical appointment. When I arrived back that afternoon I noticed the office door open, all items removed and most importantly my mothers medication. I called the office very worried (understandably) and whilst their Operations Manager admitted to making a mistake, refused to try to locate the medication that day (it was only 1pm) and then advised he would need to charge me despite it being their mistake. Crazy I know !!! I pleaded. They then offered me to unload the container myself (being a 57 year old with a disability this wasn't going to happen). I called their Sydney office, again pleaded my case and I kept getting the same response that a manager would call me back. In the end, no one called back. I called 15 times. Thankfully my mothers pharmacist and doctor came to the rescue but it could have been much worse. I just could not believe how little they cared and tried to make a buck out of someones misery. We spoke to them on the phone regarding this but because it was not put in writing, they pretended they knew nothing about it when we followed up after our shipment arrived and of course opened the box and our 1 month old fridge was damaged. We also had other furniture like beds, vases and other items damaged when opened. Everything was damaged from the way it was packed....do you not think the company should be liable for this?? No level of duty of care. Apparently you have to get multiple types of insurance to cover a variety of stages within your process. We did pay for insurance but obviously this was not included and they did not want to accept any duty of care on packing our items. They have been of no help, to the point where they don't even reply to your emails as they have got your money and don't care now. I am appalled that this type of business can carry on treating customers so poorly, it is clear from the other reviews and ratings. Be warned, stay clear of Palmers.

The man I spoke to on the phone initially was lovely and understood that I needed storage immediately and would be moving as soon as I found a house. I paid the full months fee for the unit - $270. When I was taking my furniture out of the unit today I was told by the very rude and unhelpful employee at the office that there would be a $20 charge for not giving 7 days notice for vacating. I thought that surely she must be mistaken because I am paid up until the 31st of this month (September) which is 3 weeks away and now they are able to make double the amount of money on the unit as I am no longer using it. I understand the need for the weeks notice if it is getting towards the end of the month but I think this is just a little absurd. I am unhappy that I wasn't told about the 7 days notice when I initially booked the unit. I am also unhappy that I had the misfortune to end up using your company and will make sure to let anyone who is looking for storage know not to make the same mistake.
