We sometimes prefer a cocktail or a glass of wine with diner and will occasionally have a tap only Guinness with our meal. We expect good service because we do not wish to wait, as most of us don't, because we have our lives to live and for some reason, we have gotten quite used to delicious, hot food! lol. We enjoy smiling, and laughing as many of us do, so a friendly, polite, and efficient Server is a plus. For all of these reasons and especially because we don't always know what we feel like eating, we would like to recommend to you the British Open Pub in Bluffton, SC. Why? Because the grub, sorry, food, I hate it when it does that, lol; is very tasty. Their menu offers a variety of different fare. Their atmosphere is quaint, pleasant, and laid back. Hi Everyone, We…read morereally enjoyed our visit with Argent Lakes Pizza in Sun City subdivision in Ridgeland, SC. Their pizza tasted good, their service was outstanding and we did not wait for our pizza. They offer a New York/Philly/New Jersey style pizza which is much thinner than a Chicago deep dish. They are located in an outdoor location, so sunshine and blue skies are your natural ambiance which we felt was a terrific change. They are only opened until 7:00 PM now, but in March they will begin closing at 8:00 PM. They were not crowed when we visited so we did not wait for a table. However, we would recommend you call first to check to ensure they have availability first, as we did. This restaurant is open to the public although, you do have to stop at the Sun City security gate and get a pass to enter. We recommend Argent Lakes Pub & Pizzeria which offers a a full bar with beer and wine, a limited Pub style menu and pizza, and because it is a great outdoor restaurant which we felt was a lot of fun. The family stated that the barmaid inside said that they could all sit together. It wasn't too loud when we went but I imagine once it fills up and the arcade games get going it can get very loud. There are a lot of TV screens all around and tables of varying heights. There is also a nice fish tank Service was fast and excellent. We went around 130pm on a Saturday so there wasn't too many people inside. We were able to talk and have a discussion without having to talk loudly or shout. The food was top tier. Wife got the ribs and wings. She was literally pulling the bones right out of the ribs, that's how tender they were. The wings were fried and had a nice sticky sweet sauce which was a great contrast to the crunchy salty texture of the wings. I got the big pig sandwich, which was also amazing. Pulled pork on top of a piece of fried ham and topped with bacon and cheese. It was great. We will definitly be putting this restaurant into our usually rotation, especially when we want some great BBQ.
