While we were waiting for our food, we were served the tradition Pickle Tray, YEAH!!!! The food came out and was all DELISH! My friend loved his pastrami sandwich and my chopped liver was good but could of used some chopped hard boiled egg, more onion and some salt.. but was still good. Melissa was very accommodating with the shorter than their recommended lead time of about 3.5 weeks versus 4 weeks in advance and was very responsive throughout the entire process through email with the final confirmation over the phone. On the day of the pick up, they also remembered we were coming in from LA and followed up with us to make sure we were going to get there before they closed at 4PM. They had a wide variety of flavors to choose from that could be cake, but we settled on traditional chocolate, one of the flavors that allow for a custom design. We sent them an inspiration photo of what we were looking for along with the color scheme and they absolutely knocked it out of the park on the looks. The cake was well received by everyone at the party. Since I was unable to get one of their more daring and creative flavors as the custom cake, I did go ahead and order a dozen of their Dubai chocolate cupcakes and very much enjoyed them.

The sourdough is exactly what you want: just the right natural tang, a soft interior, and a crisp crust. They also carry and make so many other amazing items beyond the bread itself. The staff gives solid recommendations, and even when they have things we've never heard of, they take the time to explain them well. Their baked goods are consistently fantastic, and the citrus-marinated olives never even make it all the way home because we end up eating them in the car. We do not live especially close, but whenever we are in Palm Springs and have the time, we make it a point to stop by.
