I didn't have a reservation and knew I'd be arriving late and leaving early in the morning. When I called, the voicemail greeting clearly explained how to check in. It didn't make total sense at first, but when I arrived after hours, everything was perfectly organized. A registration packet with a map and an envelope for payment or credit card info was waiting at the office. I truly appreciate this honor system, it shows a level of trust and integrity from the owner that's rare to find. This place has it all: full hookups, showers, a pool, and even a jacuzzi. The guests here are super friendly, it really feels like a whole other community. Since I was already gone by morning, the staff emailed me a receipt as soon as they got into the office. Their check-in and check-out process is impressively automated. Thank you, Desert Shadows RV Resort, for an awesome experience!

This RV Parks sites are all concrete, full hookup, and pull through. The center of the park has…read morethe office, laundry, showers, and community room. Everything is well maintained, the staff are efficient and the laundry is free. The park is behind the BX and Commissary, a 5 minute walk. The awesome playground is a 5 minute walk across the street. An outside airplane museum is over a side walked bridge that is a 15 minute walk. The dining facility is available weekends and holidays to the guests and spouse. They also have fast food in the BX and at the gas station which is also within sight of the park. The only noise so far is from a bar off base though it abruptly cuts out at 2255. We heard it Friday night. We'll see if it continues. We expect to hear airplanes, the sound of power projection. The only knick is the Wi-Fi is weak.

Gobs of hair in ALL shower stalls! Faucets leaked more water than they dispensed! Overall, absolutely filthy! When I called the phone number listed "if the bathroom needs attention" they interrupted me and said "We don't service thar facility anymore." It's obvious nobody is servicing the facility.

I was told: "Sorry we didn't tell you but that's how we irrigate our campsite. They literally flood you out. I was sorry I risked I risked unhooking my electricity while standing in inches of water! We immediately hooked and fled. If you decide to stay here make sure your not here on irrigation days. After we left the manager was kind enough to offer a refund and temporary close site #17 but the whole side of the park floods during irrigation.

Before writing this review, I need to give some information about us and our trailer, which is…read moresomething Scott and Duke at Paradise RV did not afford us the opportunity to do. We are full-time mobile living in a fully self-contained off-road RV trailer (kimberley kamper). Our camper has no black tank and has a composting toilet. We had to come back to Phoenix for a funeral and to move things to and from our storage unit that is right around the corner from this RV Park. We have a dog, and the temperatures are still in the low 100s, so needless to say, we needed 30 amp electrical hookup to run our AC efficiently. We originally planned to stay nearby at the Sunflower RV Resort (where we stayed in April 2023), but their office was closed for lunch. While waiting, we called Paradise RV Resort to see if they have any open spaces. They did, and they were $200 less for the two weeks we planned to stay. So we decided to go over to check out their facilities. We had already talked to Janet on the phone and told her we had previously stayed at the Sunflower RV Resort but thought we may try their location while in town. We looked around at the amenities and our potential site they were going to assign to us, and it seemed very similar to Sunflower RV park, just a little older. When we returned to the office with the intention of staying there, we were immediately confronted by Duke (in the front office), basically accusing us of trying to sneak in a trailer that they don't accept. He said we couldn't stay there because "we are not self-contained." We said we are the epitome of self-contained and were wondering how he drew that conclusion. He asked if we had a black tank, and we said no, we have a composting toilet but do need grey water hook-ups in addition to the water. He said exactly, "That's why we don't take trailers like yours." He added that he called Sunflower RV Park, and they won't take us either. We asked him if he was calling us a liar about staying there earlier this year, and he stammered around the question. So basically, he not only was calling us a liar, but he was trying to keep us from having an alternative place to stay. We asked to speak to his manager, who ended up being Scott. Turns out Scott had seen our truck and trailer outside when we first arrived and assumed we were a homemade trailer and didn't want us at his facility. Instead of asking us some basic questions or looking at our trailer for himself, he apparently sicked his dog (Duke) on us to get rid of us. Our trailer is an Australian made overland trailer shipped to a dealer in the US before being delivered to US customers. In the end, Scott apologized and kinda handled the situation professionally and invited us to stay. But with the unwelcoming mat that was laid out for us, we chose not to stay at Paradise RV. We subsequently returned to The Sunflower RV Resort, where we knew it was nice. They looked at our trailer and welcomed us back with friendly smiles. We do not recommend anyone to stay or have to deal with Paradise RV Resort, but we do recommend going down the street to the newer RV park, Sunflower RV Resort. I also feel that both Scott and Duke would benefit from some needed customer service training. They desperately need it.

The road leading to the RV park entrance is deceiving. I was in space 8 that backs up to the dirt field and the freeway noise along with air traffic noise, the RV park is in the flight path Deer Valley Airport. First day the water was shut off without notice, an email would have been nice. We called the office and they stated not knowing when the water would be turned back on. Good thing we had some water in our tank. The next day the power kept turning off and on. We were running on battery. Check in is at 11:00, which gives the RV park staff time to check the space for any issues and pick up trash before the next guest arrives at 3:00. There was trash around my space and space 7. Driving around the RV park appeared to be nice, a lot of snowbirds that have dug in. Over all not a terrible RV park.

I was being harassed by maintenance and staff here immediately in less than 24 hours over minor…read moreinfractions .Notices were placed on my door for a spare tire. I was accused of hitting their cinder block wall day 1 and running over one of their hose bibs. Somehow miraculously there's no damage either to my trailer the paint on my bumper or any of my bumper stickers. Nor is there tire tracks anywhere near the hose bib nor is there broken plastic tail light on my trailer or broken plastic manifold on the high speed internet fiber optics box located between my trailer and the wall. The people have complained about my dogs being leashed in my presence. I'm sure if there was some way to blame me for the sun being too bright they would. I woke up at 3:00 a.m. this morning and I've been at work all day. I fractured my finger today this is my first experience over here. No one deserves this type of drama. Additionally the rusted water connections to the RVs is a major health concern. Office workers are so friendly and do a great job of organizing packages and any mail they receive for guests. The pool is heated and so clean. Hot tub has occasional maintenance but also wonderful. They have orange trees through out the park you can ask for pickers in the office to enjoy some of your own when they are in season! So fun for the kiddos or just to enjoy. They have daily activities, entertainment and events you can enjoy to meet other campers! They switch it up every month but also do have usual free coffee every morning from 6-9am and pancake breakfasts every Saturday (also free for campers) Two mini dog parks! Perfect for running a little energy off and amazing dog washing station. Super dog friendly park. We had Caitlin watch our dogs for us too (she works at the front office and she did an amazing job) Can't recommend this park enough!

We have wintered in our RV the last 5 years in Palm Desert at Emerald Desert RV Resort. But thought we needed to check other options and so many people head to AZ. Welp - AZ RV "resorts" are not our cup of tea. But we did drive through others and talked to locals to see if there were other options. All are attached to park model 55 and over communities. We do believe that Pueblo El Mirage is the best of the places to park an RV. The facilities are well taken care of. Property well maintained. People are friendly. Lots of organized activities. Bright fun lights at night. Sites are large. Sounds perfect? For us the lack of real grass, an over abundance of rock is not our personal preference. Maybe if we started here and not in Palm Desert this might have been our "norm". The location is not convenient to anything. A rather desolate location definitely doesn't help. Another knock - the golf course right next door is a poorly maintained muni at best. We played it once - won't play it again. And last but definitely not least - Luke Air Force Base is 4 miles away - you will be singing God Bless America about 40x a day. And don't worry people won't hear you. And ... you do get used to it. All that being said - it's the best the immediate area has to offer

My husband and I needed to test out some things in our RV and this resort is very close to where we…read moreactually store her so we decided to make a little bit of a vacation out of it and booked a week here in one of their short term, RV rental spots. As it's a short term spot, we did not have a picnic table, but we did notice on our walks that they appear to have some in other, lots, most likely for longer stays. We found the landscaping to be very well maintained! make sure to bring your longer cables and such as the pedestal is quite a distance from the back of the pad, however, they do have a rule that your RV must be at least 26 feet long (we are a tad longer), so hopefully your cord is long enough if you have one our size. Ours was long enough with no slack. Everything operated correctly and we really appreciated the fact they put us in a slot where we didn't have neighbors directly next to us so it was a nice quiet week. My favorite spot was the pool and my pictures simply do not do it justice because it was busy all the time with pool volleyball, water, aerobics, and such . The chairs are very comfortable and they were very attentive to ensuring everything was in order when people left. I posted the schedule for the week, but there are tons of things going on here! We did go over to the bar and grill at the golf course but it was a little awkward as you have to leave the park And then come back in, lol. It would've been a lot easier just walking over there. We didn't have time to try any of the food but we did have a glass of wine and a beer and the total was $10 so pricing is very reasonable and the bartender, Pepsi, was super friendly. They do have some type of bar and grill that they open when there are events in and around that area but nothing that was open on a regular basis It really is a large park and there are a lot of different mini communities. It seemed as it looks like they had a new section every so often. It looks like they were beginning new construction for yet another neighborhood. There are also a lot of areas to just relax and sit with a group around the fire pit or chat. We noticed there were folks sitting in circles with instruments having a jam session as well as people putting puzzles together, reading books, and just in general having fun. They seem to have a very strong social network We did order a propane refill and honestly, the guy was one of the nicest people we've ever had out for service! Super easy we called the day before and they swing through the neighborhood and fill at the appropriate time assigned There is some noise from nearby, Luke Air Force Base, so just be prepared for that All in all, we had a really nice experience, and would definitely return! Everyone was really friendly to us.

Found this cute park while I was waiting for staples to open. Right behind staples is the right…read moreside of Bullard Wash Park, which has a small pavilion with one picnic bench. The right side has a nice sized event lawn, along with a couple paths that take to closer to and further from rest of the park on the left side. Ill will definitely be back to walk to the other side of the park.
