First time here today. I walked in and Elizabeth greeted me. I wanted stemware as I had just…read morepurchased wine at the grocery store. Spanky's is across the street from HEB. She showed me her full excitement about these VISKI Rolling Glasses. She opened the box and shared what they are; they literally roll. I quickly imagined how my chilled Pinot Grigio Colombard might look in it. It would look fantastic!! So I said Yes!! I began looking around the store a little. I saw interesting gadgets and a ceramic flamingo on its back holding up a wine bottle. The also had a ceramic polar bear on its back holding a wine bottle too. Then I noticed the Kaluha, which is usually a coffee liqueur. It's different now, it's rum and coffee liqueur mixed. I began looking for Cuvee Blanc, and found 4 bottles of the Korbet brand. Another clerk approached me and asked if I wanted to sample the Black Box Pinot Noir. Guess what my answer was? Well, of course. And it was a dark red, room temperature with a tannin bite. I ended up purchasing CHILA Cinnamon Cream. I'm going to try it in my coffee soon. Maybe just on ice too in my pretty cool rolling glasses. At the end, I asked Elizabeth about Bob and Darlene Hamilton, the previous owners of the Rockport Liquor chain stores. I explained that I used to work for them at 3 of the stores. But they were also my landlords as I actually living in an apartment above Quality Liquor Store on East Concho St. She said that they are now retired and traveling. That certainly make me smile!! Everything is different in Rockport now after Hurricane Harvey. It's clean, beautifully rebuilt, sttonger population and happier too. It really shows in the friendly service and instant approachability to clients. It is a place to love and cherish each day.

We walked In to many samples being given. The store was clean, the selection huge, they have a ton…read moreof fun gifts and adult drinking toys. The staff was helpful and kind. Prices are a bit high but given the location, it's expected! Great overall store !

As a self proclaimed matcha snob, I was very pleased with this iced matcha. Hand whisked and made…read morewith care, I was super impressed with the service and menu at Barefoot Beans. It's busy and you'll probably wait in line on a weekend morning, even in off season but it was worth it. The menu showcases all their milk options which is always so appreciated. A huge pet peeve of mine at a cafe is when they don't have a milk list, since I can't do regular dairy I like to know my options before placing my order. Staff was super friendly and efficient. It can get really crowded and busy especially since it's connected to a small boutique but once your order is ready, head outside to the courtyard where there's tables and beautiful plants, or take it to go and enjoy it while walking the beach or marina.

Place seemed cool, hippie vibes, a couple was in front of me & quickly got their coffee. My turn was next walked up to the counter, no other customers in the place except the young couple that left. the baby & me were ignored by 3 staff members- I was smiling looking at them & one setting up, one checking out the tips/taking that cash out of the clear bucket, the other went to the back. Not even a glance at me as if I was invisible as I was looking right at them. They did not want me there. This must be the worst customer service ever or wonder if it was due to being a person of color?!?! Baby & me just walked out. Either way it was horrible do not recommend. Maybe these two women & one man -were having a bad day or maybe they need to train these 3 staff about basic customer service 101.
