Employees were standing around talking amongst one another. Wasn't even acknowledged. The humidor definitely needed some tender-loving-care. Guess my standards are high from having worked in various other cigar shops. Then I stood in line to check out. Was finally told to check out at the open lane on the other side of the section. My mistake! Thought the lady standing there was a cashier. At least the store seemed clean and well organized and maintained. Shop here at your own risk.

This store still has all the basics, and a lot of stuff you might never know you needed! I came in looking for a cold sixer of beer to take to the lake. Fortunately, this place stocks coolers and coolers full of imports, the major national brands, and even some local beers! I was pleased to find Lorelei Brewing out of Corpus Christi here. I browsed the other sections, and found that they had an ample selection of the regular brands here, and lots of little airplane bottles as well! The staff was pleasant enough. They seemed more interested in stocking and getting their jobs done than giving me room to shop or answer questions. But they were busy, and I knew what I was looking for, so no big deal. The parking was super easy with a great lot that was well lit and clean.

You can run in, grab a bottle of Jack, Crown, Bacardi, maybe some wine, or (my personal favorite) Salvador's pre-made margarita-in-a-bottle.....get the "top shelf" label one. Every time I've come in here, it's in-and-out in less than 5 minutes. People there are always friendly and willing to help. AND, them being in the same locale as a mega, supermarket helps - you don't have to run all over the place (or around the SPID madness) to get what you need for a great weekend or party.

Very upsetting at this location. We have been coming to this location for 4 years, but here…read morerecently we have been profiled for bike bags.. We ride a motorcycle and carry a bike bag , which is smaller than a backpack. But recently we have been asked to leave the bag at the counter, keep in mind there is no sign at the door nor the other women that carry purses bigger than our bike bag were told to leave their purse at the counter. Need to know why women are allowed in with purses but a bike bag isn't. Will be addressing this to corporate level bc we are being discriminated .you would think after coming into this establishment as regular customers, someone would recognize or even know our name to know us.

While I have no issues against sweet wines it was not what I wanted and I found it very insulting that he kept pushing sweet wines at me because he apparently didn't believe I knew what I wanted. I left with a great italian primitivo, but I will not be going back there again due to the customer service.
