The staff was super friendly, the decor was adorable, and the food came out quickly. They have a lot of options for toppings, mix ins and customizations which is awesome. HOWEVER, I'm from Philadelphia where we've mastered the açaí bowl. The açaí base at palm berries was so icy it was as if I was just eating ice chips. This would be okay if I had ordered the "pure" açaí base of just açaí. However, I ordered the banana base to specifically avoid the icy texture. My husband also ordered the banana base and instead received the super icy base. I hope this was just some weird mix up, because it definitely was not tasty enough to return. What a great place to get a healthy treat that feels like you are indulging! We visited on the hottest day of 2019 and the bowl was so refreshing. I have been thinking about it non-stop and am planning a stop for lunch tomorrow. My bowl had the acai berry blended with bananas and almond milk. I went through them all and found one I enjoy emensively. On today's visit, there was a decent wait. Before I could get to the register to place my order, the manager on shift walked out and called my name. I was confused bc I didn't place my order. I told her I hadn't paid yet. Love the bowld Protein! I try to stop by and grab a snack size at least weekly! So glad they decided to park their truck at Publix because it's very convenient for me less than a mile away. I understand they may be moving into a building and so I am hoping it's nearby. The prices are very fair considering the amount and high quality of the ingredients. The staff are always clean and friendly. Each bowl takes a bit of time to create perhaps due to the confined work space. If there is a line of 3 people, plan to wait a while. If I could request one improvement; that would be for them to list the nutritional information for each of their 4 standard bowls in various sizes so I know what to log into my Fitbit app. I asked about this a few months ago and they said they were working on it. Palm Berries has been my absolute favorite place to run when I'm craving a sweet treat or Açaí bowl. I can create my own for only like $10 and they fill it to the rim with fresh fruit. I always experience fantastic customer service here as well. The only thing I wish is if they had a separate line for online orders or pick ups since you still have to wait in line to pick up and pay for your order as the long line of people waiting to order their delicious bowls/smoothies. If you're thinking about applying to work here I can tell you right now thay is a HORRIBLE decision. They're highly disrespectful to their employees and they don't take their feelings into consideration. The new manager makes all female employees uncomfortable and the owners don't care because one of them is friends with him . There's been multiple issues with the store that has affected the way we work like the fact that the kitchen pipes smell like an actual sewer and cause us to gag unable to be back there to work and when we told them about they said they didn't want to spend the money to fix it. They've gone weeks without paying people and they think that's perfectly fine . They forget to pay people , this review will most likely be removed bc they can't take the truth . I was there 2 years and was only at 11.50 started at 9. I worked Monday - Friday every single week I don't see how that pay is correct . so please if you're thinking of working here DONT ! read more

Today I decided to go to palm berries to get bowls for my family. I wrote everyones order down and when I was on ordering I read directly from the list. Then the worker resisted our order to us back to use which was everything on my list. The total came out to $47 and I even tipped 15%, which I soon regretted. When we got our bowls we went to the car and my sister check the bag, which was one bowl short. We went back into the shop and told the worker they left out a bowl. She basically told us that they never make mistakes and it was definitely our fault and we forgot to order it. We really needed the bowl and was in a rush because it was for our sister who is about to serve a two year mission for our church, meaning this is our last meal with her for two years, and we only had a hour left with her. Out of all the bowls they left out they left our hers. The worker made us pay in whole for the bowl. They usually take a couple minutes just to make one bowl, but this bowl was "made" in less then one minute. Which seemed odd to us, so when we were in the car I did the calculations which proof that we did pay for that bowl, well now we paid for it twice. I feel like this could of been handle in a much better way then telling us that they never mess up and we are clearly made the mistake. Terrible customer service which is unfortunate because my family is a frequent customer here but now we won't be returning because of this. read more
