Looks nothing like advertised. This is right when she set it down for me to pick it up - wasn't even all the way full. Consistency was like straight up water. I would save your money and/or at minimum go to a different clean juice location as this is no where near worth $13. read more

Clean juice had a good Acai bowl but it was very expensive for what you got. $16.00 for Acai, granola and a few strawberries! I was very disappointed on how little fruit I got. I do like that they make each one fresh. It took longer than I anticipated. I believe it was more due to the two employees working than the process it took to get the work done. There were two young gentlemen that looked miserable. They never EVER smiled or was welcoming. The younger one looked miserable. Enough that I almost left as he made me uncomfortable. They definitely need customer service training if you continue to have them working there. read more

First time but not last! Two of the nicest staff took the time to explain our Açaí bowl options - health benefits and had samples to boot! I have nut allergies so they accommodated my need to swap out almond milk for coconut water! We were ordering for friends so had both the berry bowl and nutty bowl - everyone seemed to like them! My only quip it's pricey but they allowed us to split a bowl into minis which was a perfect portion! They also have salads; toasts n protein bowls! The place is clean and they wore gloves while handling our food! read more

I was a huge fan of the Birkdale location when it was located across the street. But then one day I went there to pick up my mobile order and realized that they had moved. I didn't have the greatest experience at the new location, because there was a bit of a delay between my scheduled pick up time and my arrival, and when I walked inside to grab my order my smoothie bowl was liquid. I didn't really realize it until I was in the car and trying to eat it, it was extremely messy. I contacted the location to explain how unhappy I was and they offered a full refund. The issue is that I had to call three additional times because the refund didn't show up; it seems that the manager of the store was out of town, which contributed to the delay. I decided to give this location another try, because I was in the mood for a smoothie bowl. What I don't like is that when they prepare your order, they put it in a refrigerator to keep it chilled until you arrived. The problem with that is that a frozen bowl is going to continue to melt in the refrigerator because the temperature is not high enough. It would seem logical to put it in a freezer to make sure it doesn't melt. I tried to arrive in time to prevent picking up a liquid smoothie bowl, and this time it wasn't bad. But I think they need to fix this because that's a huge problem. read more

I met my friend there for a quick juice and catch up. I have been to other Clean Juice locations, so I knew what to expect. We were there on a week night and it wasn't crowded. Ease of ordering, knowledgeable staff, and large selection. I ordered the 'Cherry Lemonade One' with Lemon, Coconut Water & Maple Syrup Blended with Cherries & Strawberries. It was delicious! Even though it is considered 'Clean Juice Birkdale' it is NOT located in Birkdale Village. It is across the street in the plaza with the Shake Shack and Firebirds restaurant. read more

I ordered a longevity one smoothie and it was very disappointing. The smoothie was a juice consistency and not much of any flavor she was nice enough to remake it but unfortunately it was the same. A juice with very little flavor. If I'm paying over 12 dollars I would expect the drink to be of better quality. Not sure that I will be back. read more

I am a big fan of the organic, nutrient dense, delicious smoothies! It just took 30 min from when I ordered to get my smoothie, and the customer service was poor; that's why the 3.5 stars. I came here post workout with my little one and waited 5 min for someone to come over to take my order, not a big deal, but then after I gave the guy 10$ cash, he went to the back for 7 minutes without telling me why, then he brought back my change. My little one and I waited like I said 30 min for one smoothie- the team of 3 working on food prep were in no rush and that's fine- but I sure think in store orders should be prioritized over app orders and a single smoothie shouldn't take thaaaaat long. Not sure if that's a place I'll revisit soon based on my first experience, but I'll definitively give it another (wheatgrass) shot!(pun intended) read more

I've been to 3 locations of Clean Juice and the Birkdale location is my favorite. The staff here is awesome and the smoothies, well they're the same as at the other location which is a great thing. Consistence is super important especially when your on the go and I can't make it to Birkdale. Either way the so basic is one of my foots and if you're looking for a meal replacement then the white is literally like drinking dessert but healthier. Stop in and grab a drink or a bowl either way you won't be disappointed. If you're feeling a bit adventurous try adding spirulina its healthy algae. read more

Finally a juice shop in Lake Norman! I tried my first one day juice cleanse & the juices were all very good and fresh. I hear the acai bowls are a huge favorite among customers, however, I always seem to get distracted by the newest juice or smoothie options. When it warms up a bit, I'll take the plunge and review the bowls. Every juice or smoothie I've ever had, has been freshly made and is always fantastic. The variety here provides options for everyone. Price is a bit high, but when you consider cost of the fruits and veggies and the blender :)...I'd rather pay them for my juice than to do it myself. Plus, I love the community factor and social factor. Shop Local. Eat/Drink Clean. Juice on... They have a Juice Truck too, so I'm sure you'll see them out and about in the Lake Norman area soon! read more

I always find myself in this area of Polaris and have always been tempted by their neon signs and dark store aesthetic. I went and dove right into my infatuation of food trends by ordering the Charcoal bowl.... I was disappointed. Moral of the story? Don't order charcoal things just because of the color. Not my cup of tea. Grilled ice flavors are just not for me, lol. I'm a firm believer in a redemption story. I sure got one. I went back to try something more popular, the Berry Acai Bowl and my smoothie bowl dreams were fulfilled. A great to-go place with kind and warming employees that held conversations with me as my smoothie bowls were prepared. I'll for sure be back whenever I'm in the area. read more

There was nothing "clean" about this juice. Super annoyed with this location. I just drove across town to get a smoothie bowl and when I got home and removed the lid I noticed the sliced "fresh" bananas on top had an odd color. At first I thought they drizzled some kind of tan colored sauce on them... nope they were just THAT rotten to the point they looked caramelized. Disgusting! And then too too it all off, as I moved a piece with my spoon to see if any were edible a frikkin fruit fly crawled out!!! Get it together Clean Juice! You have a super minimal menu. There is no excuse for rotten ingredients! read more

I think the product is excellent, and I've been a client of clean juice since they opened. However this location has a bit to improve on. It smells very strong like cigarette smoke and the people who greet you are not friendly at all. Customer service is just cold. I was a clean juice fan for years. No longer though. I LOVED how they were giving away $10 to download their mobile app. What a great incentive to drive traffic to the application as well as into the Clean Juice locations. Well 2 months later, and the $10 has now disappeared from our apps. When I reached out to CleanJuice on why, they said "they decided to cap it at a 30 day window". What!?!? There was NO disclaimer, or any info about a time period or expiration. That was a complete SCAM to just get people to download their app. I'm sorry, but CleanJuice has unfortunately lost a family of customers. And the multiple of people we had told to download the app to get the $10.... we will be sharing our experience with them. Not a cool way to run a business. Shadiness and lying to customers ALWAYS comes back to bite you. Attachment shows the response from CleanJuice read more

From my 7 1/2 yr old daughter: "Your smoothies are amazing! I just can't stop drinking them. Keep up the good work!"

I have been a client since they opened in birkdale and loved their IÇAI bowls. The past year, their food and customer service has been unacceptable. I subscribed to the juice club. Every time I go to pick up my order, my juices are expired, expiring the day of pick up or the next day. I have never got a juice freshly made on the day of the pick up. When I bring the matter to the server, I get the annoyed answer that they won't make juices until the next day or following 2 days. I'm not asking much, just to have fresh juice provided. I ordered ahead of time, just liked asked, and paid ahead of time, just like asked, then provide the fresh juice, just like advertised!!! I will be looking on how to cancel my subscription, because I feel like this should not be the way a food should be served. If I wanted a 3-4 days old juice, I would buy at a grocery store or even better, made my own, as I can have the time to plan and drink it and save all the money. read more

Honestly I typically really like Clean Juice, I love they offer a great variety of organic items. How ever this is not a cheap stop to make. I ordered a açaí bowl and a toast with almond butter, banana and honey. My order was about $21 dollars. And this has happened to me 3 times now where the fruit for example the banana is completely green and taste awful or the fruit on top just does not taste well. I rather some one tell me you are out of something and keep the integrity of the quality of the dish. I won't be coming here or ordering from here again I will say I ordered this through door dash about an hour before they closed which is why I did not bring this to there attention. read more

Waited 20 MINUTES - yes 20 MINUTES for two drinks. SOOO many people came in and were crammed in the one corner they have available to wait. No one was wearing masks. I get the drink and there are literal chunks of celery, cucumber and other various pieces of fruit (not from my drink) in my $14 DRINK! SO GROSS! I let the person know and showed them how nasty it looked (and obviously tasted). She shrugged her shoulders and said "oh the strainer is in the back". So they didn't make my drink correctly and thought I would think it was fine and walk out? How about make it right the first time!? Especially after we had waited patiently for 15 minutes for them to make it wrong - we had to wait another 5-10 minutes for them to remake it. I do not recommend. They need an operations manager to come in and train this establishment how to operate a facility! Or a simple diner dash game training. Flies everywhere! Not a great way to start my day. They took the poorly run Birkdale location and moved it to a new building. Nothing has changed. read more

Acai bowls were sloppy, messy. Terrible presentation, nothing like the picture in the app. They just piled the toppings in the middle, no pretty layers or lines. Acai bowl was missing goji berries and overall skimpy on their toppings. Bowls themselves had smoothie splashed all on the outside making them a sticky mess to hold. We know what we're paying for at clean juice and I did not get my money's worth at all. OG Clean Juice has gone way downhill since moving across the street, you'd think you'd be getting top quality since Huntersville is their headquarters. Bring back 2015 Birkdale CJ goodness. Delicious açaí bowls! I've moved from the west coast where açaí bowls are standard and are made correctly. This is the first place I have found that makes the açaí bowls well. I love a good smoothie, and before I came here Jamba Juice was a fave. Lets just say that they now have some competition! They have a lot to offer on their menu, including smoothie bowls, and someone ahead of me ordered avocado bread. What really turned me on about this place was that I was able to see the fresh ingredients in front of me. I got something with Tropical in the name; I don't remember exactly what it was, but the kale taste wasn't overbearing, and I was also able to taste the piece of banana. I will definitely be returning. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in on 3/19/2017 due to wanting to try the acai bowls. The shop was nice and clean and organic certified. I'd never been to a juicing shop outside of juicing at home. The staff I believe should have done more with educating about the products because my boyfriend was indecisive on what he wanted. I had of course checked out the menu beforehand and knew what I wanted. I ended up getting the Pitaya Bowl which was really good. It was filled up with more Pitaya filling then toppings, which seemed to be running over. The Pitaya Bowl had the following ingredients: Pitaya blended with Banana, Mango, and Almond Milk | Topped with Granola, Coconut Chips, and Chia Seeds & Goji Berries My boyfriend settled for the Berry Bowl. It was filled the same as my bowl more filling then toppings made with the following ingredients: Açaí blended with Banana, Berries, Honey, and Almond Milk | Topped with Granola, Banana, Goji Berries, & Strawberries (seasonally). I think it should be some type of balance with the filling and toppings to balance the bowls out. The bowls were pricey. The Pitaya Bowl was 9.95 + tax and The Berry Bowl was 8.95 + tax. Other than that a good experience and worth trying. read more

Poor customer service. The employees don't look up when you walk in. There is no greeting, no welcome, no smiling (yes you can tell if someone is smiling with a mask on). It's almost as if you are bothering them. There are 2 ladies there that are awesome but other than that I hate walking in. I order everything on the app. Today I went in and there were 5 cups sitting on the side. A lot of customers were waiting and the 2 ladies moved as if they had all the time in the world. No one greeted us or even looked up. I had to go over to someone and say I have an online order. She looked over at the cups and said it's not ready yet. I placed the order 20+ minutes prior. A $10 drink. I had to leave to go to work and felt with only 2 ladies behind the counter this was going to be over a 15 minute wait the way they were moving. Oh and there was someone in the back but they never once came out to help. So I told her I can't stay I have to go to work. No apologies, no let is refund you. She just let me leave. All in all I just spent $10 on a drink I couldn't get and feel I am not valued, Considering I come in almost every single day. I hope the owners and managers start hiring employees who actually enjoy their job and want to hustle for the customers. Update: I called and talked to manager Niki. She was sweet and offered to drive the drink to me. In my books that is pretty awesome and for that I've changed my rating. read more

This is my second time here, and I was shocked at the lack of cleanliness at this place. As the girl was making wraps, her wet, dirty T-shirt, was touching the food as she was reaching out for ingredients, totally disgusting! She left all the ingredients on the counter when she went to make drinks. Bread was also left out on the other side, open, and when she reached out for the almond butter, there was avocado on the bottom of it! I also noticed a fly over the food! I was there for about 20 minutes and will never go back! read more

This was my first time at Clean Juice; I've been wanting to try it for a while and walked in while I was toodling around Birkdale. When you walk in, you can immediately smell the fruit and fresh and ingredients. It's quite refreshing. I ordered the Slushie Smoothie, and it was sooooo good. The ingredients in this one are strawberries, oranges, honey, and coconut water. It was cool and delicious. I was surprised by how creamy the texture was. I didn't wait long at all to order, and I waited just a few minutes for my smoothie to be ready. This place has great parking, outdoor seating, and clean inside, and friendly staff. The only reason I rate this 4 Stars is the price... it's pretty expensive. I guess you are paying for really fresh, organic ingredients; I would expect that to be pricier. My smoothie was $6.95 + tax for the 16 oz. Clean Juice will probably be a treat for me as opposed to a regular purchase, and that's ok! I will definitely be back. read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. Walked in and only one customer ahead of us. Placed five normal juice orders. Several people working and more customers entered behind us. Two smoothies up-- then it stalled because one drink had beets and required cleaning before they could do the rest of our order. Then-- they're out of cucumbers (WTH?!) and forgot a drink while serving easily 8-10 people in the midst of still cleaning the juicer and making other items. No one appeared to be in charge and the owners no where to be found-- which is pretty odd for the 2nd weekend open, right? Staff is clearly untrained and it doesn't take a big brain to realize the beet drink should've been processed last. 40 MINUTES it took to get our order filled. Note to management: train your staff, get a second juicer and have the veggies required on hand to make your menu items. read more

Typically not a huge Clean Juice fan because I'm not a big believer in drinking my salads. Especially for $10. Recently I have found a couple of things that I actually enjoy though. Since moving to the new location I am highly impressed with the employees, the cleanliness, and the speed in which they get my food ready. Clean Juice is a trendy juice bar and smoothie spot boasting a menu if clean wholesome ingredients. Personally, the prices are a little high (about $7 for a 16oz smoothie depending on the type), but I accept that with good ingredients comes higher prices. Both times I've been to this location I've been disappointed with the wait time. It had seemed empty inside (me and 2 others) and yet over a others 10 minute wait for a smoothie. Improvements could be made here. Menu items I've tried: Smoothie, The Coffee One: I'm not a huge cold brew fan (too bitter for me), which is the base of this drink. Unfortunately just not a match. Smoothie, The Heart Healthy One: VERY yummy and easy going down. I liked the cinnamon flavor. Smoothie, The So Basic One: This is my favorite to date. A little sweet from the fruit and very filling! Pastry Item, Vegan Maple Scone: I will pass on vegan bakery items in the future...just not for me or worth the calories! read more

There was only 1 girl working the juicer (had to be understaffed due to covid), but she was working really hard to get the drinks made for everyone. There was a pretty small line, but we did wait 15 minutes for our drink. I ordered "The Pumpkin One" 16oz smoothie ($7.25) and it was delicious. I really appreciate EVERYTHING being USDA Organic which is the best of the best organic that you can get. So the high prices make sense for everything being organic, but it's a nice treat to have every once in a while, not every day due to cost. The bathroom was clean and the tables were clean. There were a couple of flies in the restaurant, but the space also isn't that big and I'm sure all of the sweet fruity smells is attracting them inside. l would definitely visit again though because of the friendly staff and delicious smoothies! read more

Quick stop for a midday pick me up! Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Kinda pricey for juice but you are what you eat (drink)!

Found this place while checking out Birkdale area. The concept of this juice place is very interesting, healthy and organic. It is clean inside. There are a lot of healthy options and ingredients including smoothies, fresh juices, and salad bowls. The staffs are very friendly. They would help you choose and honestly tell you what's good here. However, they worked way too slow. We ordered simple OJ and it took them over 15 minutes without any customers waiting because they always talked and chitchatted.
