The driver and bar tender were pleasant. I don't think many from the attendees ordered from the bar but the bar tender came around sharing interstate tidbits about what we were seeing. As a side note, there are bathrooms on board.

From here you can glide into the residential canals, where the lack of boat traffic keeps the water remarkably calm and peaceful. It's the kind of quiet that makes you want to slow down and take it all in. Usually there are lots of manatee in these canals, and it is a relaxed, easy, Paddle. Follow the canals and they'll lead you out to the Intracoastal, where you can cross over and paddle past Two Georges and Banana Boat, or wander through the mangroves instead. Fair warning: that stretch of the Intracoastal can get pretty choppy with boats passing through in summer, and even on an in season Saturday, but heading out early usually means smooth water. The park itself is fantastic. Parking is always plentiful, and it's a convenient meeting point for launching with friends right from the beach. There's also a PADL kiosk if you need to rent a board. Those boards are heavy and tricky to handle on your own if you're shorter than five foot five (speaking from experience!), but they're a solid choice if you don't own one. Additionally, they have a roundabout where if you needed to park a little farther, you could drop off your board and then go do So.

Wayne was a wonderful tour guide and I think this was the best highlight of their trip ( excluding me). The boat was spotless, relaxing, and so much fun. One of the highlights was anchoring and swimming off the personalized floating dock built by Captain Tim himself. When my family was embarking on a cruise from Fort Lauderdale, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce my own kids to the Jungle Queen. It's a short boat ride that takes you through the canals behind the mansions and quasi-famous homes on the water. Your guide on board will tell you about the homes and landmarks you pass en route. There is a bar on board, so no need to sail sober! LOL There are also a few snacks for purchase. The air movement on the boat keeps you from getting too warm, even when the sun is blazing, but don't forget your sunscreen. There's no bad seat aboard. All in all, it's a nice little boat ride if you're looking to get outside and burn some time in Fort Lauderdale. There is a string of food shops along the waterfront outside the entrance, so you can plan to grab lunch or dinner before or after your ride. We really enjoyed our trip, but I'm deducting one star due to the boat traffic (which I know they cannot really help). Maneuvering around all the other drunks in their watercraft was kind of a drag.

To make matters worse, soda cost over $3 and wasn't included in the price. We weren't even offered dessert! The entertainment was lackluster. The singing was terrible, and the only bright spot was one dancer who clearly LOVES her job! The ONLY saving grace was the cruise itself! Beautiful experience on the water, but the food and entertainment were a complete disappointment. Definitely not worth the money! The only reason they got 1 was because I wanted to leave a review to save people money.
