My first impression walking in the door was not a good one. There were several employees huddled up chatting, laughing, etc. This felt very click-y and not the environment I was hoping for. I was presented the option to use a robe and slippers and while I do understand that not everyone will take advantage, I felt like I was inconveniencing someone by using these services. Why not invite me in to the locker room, show me my assigned locker, point out the goodies and say, "our robes and slippers are available for you to use!" or something similar. I would rate the massage a 2.5 out of 5. The masseuse did not utilize the time (60 min), nor did she reach my requested pressure points. I felt time was wasted. It was odd. Now, the facial, 8 out of 5! She was so detailed oriented and truly spent so much time on my skin. My upper body was massaged SO much better through my facial than through the full-body massage. She focused on trouble areas and made some recommendations (which I really appreciated!) I was a bit embarrassed leaving there because my face was completely red (looked like a terrible burn), but she said it would subside within an hour and it did. I may skip the massage next time, but definitely plan on giving GiGis another chance, especially for the facials.

She is very shy & was uncomfortable addressing the issue herself, so I initially contacted the salon on her behalf with her permssion. The haircut was so minimal that neither family members nor friends could tell she had her hair cut. The color was placed underneath her hair, making it virtually invisible during normal wear. We even provided before-and-after photos to support our concerns. When I first spoke with management, I was told she would review the situation with the owners and she indicated that a refund might be appropriate. However, after the stylist became involved, the conversation changed completely. Although we made it clear that my daughter was not comfortable returning to the same stylist for correction, that seemed to become the salon's only proposed solution. ********Most disappointing of all, we sent a respectful email to the owners detailing our concerns and included photos. We even proposed a partial refund for just the haircut and not the color and never received a response**** Everyone can make mistakes, but professional businesses should stand behind their work and communicate with their customers when concerns are raised. What makes this even more frustrating is that I was charged a significant amount of money for a service that was NOT what was advertised on the website. I specifically booked based on the description of the massage and what was supposed to be included, and what I received did not match what I paid for. If I'm paying that much money, I expect to actually receive the service that was advertised. I went in expecting to leave feeling relaxed and taken care of. Instead, I left sore, uncomfortable, and in so much pain that I had to book another appointment somewhere else just to get proper care for the pain this experience left me with. That alone says everything about how dissatisfied I am. I genuinely regret spending my money here. The lack of communication, the quality of the service, the fact that I did not receive what was advertised, and the pain I was left in made this one of the worst experiences I've had at a massage establishment. I am extremely disappointed and would like a full refund. I paid for a specific service and did not receive what I was promised. I hope management takes this seriously because customers should not have to pay premium prices, receive something completely different from what was advertised, and then leave feeling worse than when they arrived. Both locations provide a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere with great customer service. Once you arrive, you're taken back to the treatment areas which are separated by a curtain and have a flat bed to lay on. You can hear other conversations going on but it's still a relatively relaxing experience. My esthetician, Linda, was sweet and kind. She offered me a weighted blanket and explained each step to me like I asked while getting my service. I have done the Foundrie Glow facial, the Clean +Natural facial, dermaplaning, and brow laminating services before . Treatments take about 45 minutes, and I always feel very relaxed after! I didn't know I had so much stress and tension stored from my daily routine. I would recommend Henrik due to his professionalism and massage technique. The spa was unlike any other I've visited in the past. Upon checking in, I got to pick scented lotion and music that would be used during my service. I also received a robe and slippers in my designated size. The changing room, bathroom, lockers and women's retreat areas were calming, clean and comfortable. I did sign up for a membership during my first visit due to it making sense financially and being impressed by the hospitality at the location.
