Great place! I went in to talk about getting a spray tan and all the girls were super friendly.

my card was stolen so once my bank sent me a new one I update my card at Palm Beach slide rd location when the billing cycle came my card was not charged so I went in again and told them my card hasn't been charged yet this month. The girl at the desk name was Maddie. I told her you were the one that took my card information last maybe you entered my card numbers wrong. She stated oh no I wouldn't do that then went into my file and stated a new card wasn't even added until last April. That was false. I told her you guys have cameras and you were the one that took my card last time. It was just like two weeks ago. She's like you can do a customer care of you, or I can do it for you, and then I proceeded, and told her to do it for me because she made $10 for a late fee but that's not my fault. I came in changed my card and you didn't charge me so I went tanning after my tanning I came out asked her if she printed me the paperwork that she sent for customer care then she's like oh well I realized I couldn't do that for you. You have to do it she got a attitude with me and raised her voice. I asked her why are you raising your voice at me and she's like because I'm not lying to you totally unprofessional and uneducated. She said she looked into my account further in my car did on May 27. And since I added a new card after the 25th I have to pay the late fee. Maddie is uneducated and unprofessional to customers. read more

I have been using this tanning salon for 2 years and have been very pleased with both the results and the service. The girls are always helpful and polite, and the salon is always clean and neat. If I ever let them know something isn't working, like the sprayers on the bed, it is fixed the next time and they remember to tell me. Kudos to a business that does a great job with customer service! read more

Worst Business EVER to be associated with!!! I have been trying to cancel my membership now for two years, followed the THEIR guidelines, and still taking money out of my account. Filed a BBB Complaint and they didn't even have the decency to answer the complaint through them. This is just the start of me filing other complaints, as I will make it a mission go through the courts as well.............Stealing money should be dealt with accordingly. read more

I went in 6 minutes before closing on Sunday which was the Super Bowl so it was 3:54 pm and the lady refused to let me tan. For how much I pay to be a member that's ridiculous and unprofessional. read more

Honestly this is not my favorite location. My account was very messed up and the management didn't do much to help for the inconvenience. Other locations seem to be more welcoming and cleaner. Disappointed that this is the closest location to where I live. read more

I started tanning here in the beginning of September and liked it at first. I was talked into getting the Platinum package but told them that I would have to downgrade for the month of October because I am a broke college student. Half way through September I spoke with a brunette lady asking to downgrade my account because I wouldn't be able to afford the Platinum account for October. She told me that there was a promotion that would make my total for October $36 for the entire month. So I agreed to keep the Platinum package because that was a good deal. So about a week or so before October 1st I spoke with a lady to request to change my payment method. I asked her to remove the bank card on file and put a different one, my primary bank account, because the current account would have a $0 balance on October 1st. So the lady took the new card and input the information into the computer. She said it was successful and my old payment card would not be charged. On October 6th, the card that I requested to be removed as a payment method and she confirmed that she removed it, was charged $65.95! I went in there yesterday evening to request a refund and to close my account and the woman spoke to me as if I were stupid and that she didn't believe me. While on the phone with her manager/coworker explaining what was going on she sounded annoyed and spoke about me as if I were making this whole thing up. I described the employee that changed my card information and she tried to play like she didn't know who I was talking about. So after all of this nonsense she says she cannot confirm if I will get a refund..but it says on the PBT website that I am entitled to a full refund. How can she not know this??!!?? I am not going to give my business to a tanning salon who pushes sales, misrepresents prices to get sales, cannot properly process debit and handle payment accounts, and clearly has terrible customer service sales. I am not even going to waste my time waiting for them to "talk to cooperate." I will be contacting them myself as PBT seems to screw over a lot of people! My husband, who is a 10 year combat veteran, witnessed this entire thing and I am embarrassed to say the least. read more

So today I came in to get a spray tan in the versa spa. As I came in and told the girls what I wanted, they showed me their membership options. I kindly declined and told them I live in Levelland. Then they said "well you should at least buy 2 spray tans today... It's the best deal" I told them no and that I only needed one. After that they decided to show me some random spray tan solution in a can that's "only $50" .... I started to get very irritated and declined. THEN after they tried to sell me foot pads... They would not stop pushing me to get something. And when I just told them I wanted one spray tan and that's it they were very ugly and rude. Never going there again. read more

I recently started using this tanning salon and it is by far the best one I've used in lubbock. I've gone to always tan and B tan on university. I feel like those places don't change out their bulbs very often. But with Palm Beach I've been getting a great tan. You also get a free spray tan when you sign up. The only downside is that they are constantly trying to sell you lotion, which I understand, but I always feel awkward denying their offers. There is a woman who works there, Summer, and she knows just how to start you on the tanning beds without burning. Love this place!! read more
