I was very pleased with the outcome. It is located in a salon called Bangz and you let them know you're there when you enter the front door. Then someone lead you through the salon to go upstairs where Julie has a space for her work. The salon itself is rather pleasant looking. The spray booth is basic but works. She was kind enough to offer various levels of darkness desired. This was a first for me and I thought a great idea. The routine was similar to what I had in Charlotte. She takes cash or credit cards after the session. I would recommend her.

I made an appointment with the amazing Katie Green and was so impressed with not only her amazing color skills but how friendly she and all the girls in the salon were. I knew going in my pain in the ass head of extremely thick and dark hair was going to be a project and I was full of advance apologies but she clipped on that's mock and got to work. I couldn't have been more pleased with how amazing her highlights in my hair turned out. She made the 4 hours I was there fly by and everyone was so upbeat clipping and snipping away. This was the great salon experience I was looking for. I am so happy I have to look no further than 2 blocks down my own doorstep for such professional and capable service. They also offer many other spa and facial services and are one of the premier bridal suites downtown. Super great location for a bridal party too with cute little cafes and pubs nearby if you're making a day of it beforehand. Thank you, Dalisay and Katie! See you in 6 weeks!

Being new to the Wilmington area and someone who values self care, I was excited about Wilmington…read moreHemp Spa. Unfortunately, I didn't get to experience their services. Due to an error on my end, I thought my appt was an hour later than it actually was, and missed my scheduled time. The moment I realized (about 20 min into the appt time), I called the spa. They offered to reschedule me but also told me I'd have to pay my full appt cost ($85) as a no-show fee either way. I completely understand a business needing to charge a no-show fee. Employees' time is valuable and employees shouldn't suffer for my mistake. However given that I was wanting to reschedule/pay again, and that it was an honest mistake, I asked if there was ANYTHING they could do to help me financially on the no-show fee, to allow their employee to still be paid but to maybe cut me a bit of a break on the no-show fee. $85 is a lot of money, especially to pay it twice to get 1 service. Unfortunately they were completely unwilling to do so. Clearly based on the glowing reviews, the spa is great. But the no-show policy seems to me particularly extreme and rigid based on what other spas charge for no-shows. Again, the missed appointment was my mistake, 100%. But I also know as a business owner myself that there is always a little wiggle room, and I wish they had been more flexible for someone who could have been a regular client.

I, to be fair, had been social media stalking her pages and knew it was a place I needed to check out. Taylor welcomed me into her space with such a gracious and caring presence that I couldn't wait to walk out of there feeling like a new me. She explained every part of the experience and what I should expect, turned on some music and let me get comfortable. Y'all I can't begin to explain the bliss I experienced.
