Friendly and good service from the girls and clean. The last 2 locations I was a member at didn't pressure selling you products ever, ever. If there is a display of products and you see a customer try one, you need to let the customer know it's not a tester instead of making them purchase it. That part was really not okay, even though you did offer a fresh new unopened box. Remember ladies, the customer is always right as someone who owns franchises of their own like this one. I wouldn't be happy knowing my staff makes sales this way and also argue back a bit when the customer says it's not okay. I won't be buying product from here anymore and may even cancel my membership due to the poor quality beds and bulbs being out in 2 different beds 2 days in a row. I am a nice person so I purchased the display cream just to avoid conflict but not leaving happy today. The staff is nice and friendly but I miss my old location as now I don't feel good about coming back here anymore. read more

Worst experience I had at a tanning salon. The girl was not equipped or trained on walk ins and sharing that her manager doesn't allow walk ins and single use when it is shared on their website there are single use purchases. Her manager only lets somebody get a membership. Then sharing corporate rules regarding cancellation at the same tanning studio however I am in a city 4 hours away but apparently I can use it anywhere but would have to drive back 4 hours to cancel at this location. I would not recommend coming here as the staff was not nice , and seems like training is an opportunity. read more

Bed 11 is it! You get great color in it. Gals are nice. Place ya clean and easily accessible when I'm Working in the area. Parking is a pain, but it shares with many other businesses. read more

Don't believe the palm beach post. I emailed my info and they never reached out. My service was SABOTAGED! The worker purposely tried to humiliate me! That wasn't my first bad experience at this salon either. I wonder if I shouldn't call an attorney bc this has definitely given me mental anguish and distress. I can't believe I paid 100$ for such a terrible experience. read more

Came in after seeing on Tiktok they had a free promotion for a first free tan. I'd never had a spray tan before so I wanted to try it out. The promotion was also on their website and was scannable I'll insert a pic. They said I could only use it if I paid for a $50 membership or a one time $35 fee which was not listed in fine print or anywhere. Very disappointed with my experience and the false advertising. read more

I joined this Tanning place with a monthly Spray Tan membership, which is $59.99 per month. Just so you know that their rules is that you have to purchase an additional add-on with every Tan such as a bronzer or a scent. These run anywhere from 6 to 8 dollars per Tan. Personally, I do not like any of the additives because the basic color looks the best on me. I just want others to know that there are hidden costs to this monthly membership. read more

I am paying almost $90 a month for red light sauna except the red light only works when Lauren is working so I just canceled my membership. I just don't want to pay for something I can't use half the time. read more

Love it here. Lauren is an absolute doll and asset. Makes everyone smile. Keeps things very clean. What a great addition.

I stopped in today, the prices are absolutely INSANE. The girl at the counter told me that the level 1 & 2 beds are a waste and I would need to use level 3 or 4 which are $30 and $40 respectively for a one time use. Then the developer SAMPLES are, at the least, $17. Absolutely insane. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I stopped in here for just one session. There was a young girl at the counter and I was asking about single sessions. She told me the beds were $35, $24 and $12. I asked if there was a price for a first time or a half off and she said no. She didn't explain anything else to me nor did she care at all about me being there. I asked to do the $12 bed and she said "it doesn't work". I told her I appreciated her honesty about ir but why do the even advertise this bed if it doesn't work. It was quite clear that they are saying the top beds. She would have rather me not spend any money at all than do the one bed. That's pretty sad. Completely insane prices and rude staff. I went here about 5 years ago and it wasn't like that. I walked out and she didn't even say bye. read more

Do not go if you are on a budget. You need to pay for the higher priced beds. The 15.00 beds are miserable. You definitely get what you pay for. I will be upgrading!!! read more

I tried to go in today 9/19/2021 around 2 pm and they were closed. I made sure to look at the tanning hours online prior to driving all the way from Hampstead to this location. And once again it's closed. It's entirely to often that this happens at this location with no note on the door or any reasoning. Guests pay way to much monthly to have this service available with absolutely no explanation. read more

I just bought my membership this evening at the Monkey Junction Location. By far the best experience in a tanning salon I've ever had thanks to Tina! She helped me choose the best tanning package for me by explaining each level flawlessly and helped me pick out a great tanning lotion that felt wonderful on my skin. She also answered a million questions I had about each product they offer and tanning routines. She was super sweet and was transparent about the whole transaction. I can't wait to go back! read more

Once this corporation bought the local tanning bed's, they doubled the prices and cut services. It is an absolute ripoff. I would never give that much money to a corporation. They should be far more competitive, especially if they want to sell to the locals and take money from family owned, local businesses. Support The community enterprise. Never give your money to the corporations. read more

I went here with my friend to get a spray tan for a trip. First of all, they were advertising mystic for $9.95, but then we had to pay an extra $5 for the medium cartridge... did not understand this? My friend and I both got what we though was a medium mystic in the ultra hd booth. I'm not sure what the girl at the front did- either did not insert the cartridge correctly or the booth had been broken- but we basically paid $20 to come out looking just as pale as we went in. If we would have had time before our flight the following morning, we would have went in and asked to be resprayed or refunded. The employees might need another lesson on how to operate the mystic booth. That being said, all of their beds did appear to be super nice. It's just unfortunate this girl completely messed up something as simple as a mystic spray tan booth. read more

I just started tanning here a week ago and I love it!! Julie was exceptionally friendly and helpful when I was signing up and the beds here are MUCH MUCH better than ANYWHERE else in town! Do not waste your time at places like Tropical Tans or Timeless Tans if you're someone that needs decently strong beds to get a dark tan like I am. read more

I just started tanning here about 2 weeks ago and LOVE IT! The customer service is AWESOME! I do not have to wait for a bed and have enjoyed my first 2 upgrades as a member and my "Ultra Cash." Everyone is very knowledgeable on the beds and lotions and greets me with a smile. A very friendly, upbeat and positive atmosphere to tan. read more

I am very dissatisfied. I bought a very expensive package and saw little to no results.

For the most basic of packages they require a scan of your finger print and credit card information. Without the credit card info the charge an additional $20 to the package price. The basic beds are pretty weak. I had a gift card for several hundred dollars and it has gotten me two months of tanning on one of their cheaper packages and a bottle of lotion. Overall not impressed. read more

I have been a customer for a few months and they have great beds and friendly staff. Not the cheapest but by far definitely worth the price. I'm generally pleased with my service until today. I was very displeased when one of the staff members was clearly inebriated and asked for my name three times upon check in and was wavering around. This is atypical but unacceptable when I pay so much for this service. read more

I payed for the most expensive package so I could lay in the best beds. However, to say I've been disappointed and overpaid for a service is an understatement. Beds are either down with bulbs out, not maintained with broken radio, nasty stained floors etc. If you like to overpay for a dirty, broken down place to tan, Ultra Tan is for you. I've already cancelled for next month and will go back to Sun Tan City where the beds are really Level 6 beds (and they have more than 1) new, maintained and hygienic floors I'm not afraid to go barefoot on (don't dare use the spray tan booth here). Even though Sun Tan City is further out of the way for me, you get the quality of service you pay for there. read more

This place doesn't deserve one star but you have to at least put one star. Worst experience ever! Had been tanning at Tropical Tans for 20 years went to the monkey junction location and it was closed and said to go to Ultra Tan. So I went to Ultra Tan where I started by filling out the yellow medical paper and when I asked a question she told me told me it doesn't matter what you write on there we don't look just put you have no skin conditions. Then I proceeded to tell her I needed a spray tan for my parents funeral. Went and got spray tan. Woke up it was horrible went back they said they'd spray tan me again I said I don't think that's a great idea. We promise it's going to be great so let's Flash the 9 the next morning at my parents funeral and I'm glowing orange my hands that I covered with the cream are glowing. Don't go to Ultra Tan stay at your tropical Tans locations. Before I wrote this review I called twice to speak to someone about solving this the owners the managers were all emailed and they chose not to respond so here's my review don't ever ever go to Ultra Tan read more

This place is the PITS. It's filthy dirty, the beds are weak and their corporate policies are questionable. There have been, on numerous occasions, buckets all over the entrance to catch water when it rains and it smells of mold. There are a number of other tanning studios in town so I would HIGHLY recommend giving this place a pass. The only reason I am giving it one star is because the woman at the desk is pleasant. Otherwise, don't waste your money!!! read more

I switched to this salon for its location. I wish I had never switched my membership at the other salon! I only do sunless tanning, and half the time I go to Ultra Tan (after going to the trouble of showering and exfoliating), their Mystic machine is out of order. They have only compensated me once in the last year, and that was when the Mystic was out of commission for nearly a month. It's almost like you need to call before you go to see if the machine is in order that day! It's ridiculous. I'm currently looking for another salon. read more

This place is awesome. The girls that work there are always so sweet and have a lot of knowledge on their products. They are always cleaning something when I walk in . Their packages are a little pricy, but totally worth it for the beds, discounts on lotions, as well as the friendly service. I would not think of tanning anywhere else! read more

Very disappointed very dirty. Floors had not been vacuumed swept or mop. Bathroom was dirty and I mean disgustingly dirty. They cut the time back on the tanning machines from 12 minutes to 8 minutes on the other machine they cut it back from 15 minutes to 12 minutes. Bertha has always been a 15-minute bed when it was tropical tans. And the Matrix has always been a 12-minute bed when it was tropical tans. Sorry to say but worst tanning salon in town. Tropical Tans was the best and we're going to miss them. Tropical Tans was very good to the customers had drinks form clean beds clean floors clean rooms had mirrors on the walls just to name a few things. And they also had music now all you can hear his fan and other people talk and very disappointed. I mean so quiet you could hear the girl in the Next Room putting tanning lotion on pretty sad very disappointed will be finding another tanning salon and not to mention how overpriced they are unbelievable. But that's all I'll say for now I'll get back to you guys later with some more wonderful news thanks for listening by. read more
