My card had expired, which is completely fine...when I updated it they let me tan etc when in fact it wasn't coming out of my account. I wasn't aware and thought all was well. All of the sudden one day and $200 later I was told I couldn't tan because I had an "outrageous" amount. I have the date I updated my info and the girl didn't press whatever she needed to, to save it. I went in and the girl behind the counter was rude as I was going to make it right but not after our encounter. I'll happily go else where. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

Tonight I was waited on by the assistant manager Britney ... she listened to what i had to say, was polite and accommodated me above n beyond what she had to. She is so sweet and really cares what her customers have to say and what they think of palm beach tan.... thank you Britney you have no idea how much you really did help me today. .. p.s. clients..... this is a busy tanning salon that is working on getting settled in.. so next time you wanna demand a bed or act a damn fool cause you feel entitled to go asap and a bed should always be available to you that min you walk thru the door --try standing there for 20 mins and watch what these employee's do... patience goes a long way... PBT use to be a great place to tan. The staff at PBT were super and were really careful about tanning rules and regs. Now that they are combining w LA TAN it is doomed and they already suck. I was waited on today by a former LA TAN manager who in no way measures up. SHE DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME GOGGLES. read more

The beds here are fine, the people aren't. Everyone here is so in you're face with trying to sell you products (that you don't want/need especially @ $100 a bottle). Their 24-hour policy is ridiculous, came in at 3:20, when my "24 hours" wasn't up until 3:32, was made to wait the 12 minutes as if the 12 minute wait time is going to save my skin from overexposure and skin cancer. My day is way too busy for me to schedule my whole life on my tanning schedule, and i tend to think so is everyone else's. I dread walking in here everyday, but they bought out the only competition in town so we're stuck with it. Also, they charge you a $20 account startup fee ON TOP OF the $40 package that only allows you to use 2 of the beds. Very unhappy with the place, wish i could go somewhere else without have to travel 40 minutes to another city. read more

I had an account for several years, paid monthly. I have a situation where I can not presently tan. Spoke with manager at the end of October and told her I needed to cancel. She told me my payment would still be taken out on November 1, but I would get a 'future' month free...Really!!! I asked if there was any way of having the November payment refunded after they take it in a couple days. She told me she didn't have that ability and I could talk to her district manager and maybe it could be done. She assured me my account would be cancelled and that no further payments would be made. She also promised me that her district manager would call me. A month later, no call from a district manager, no follow up from the manager, and when I called on November 25 I explained everything to the employee and she said it should be fine just come in tomorrow morning and see the manager. I arrived at 11:45 a.m. and was told the manager had left for the day and there was nothing in the system about my cancellation. She had me sign the little device and then said "You will get another free month". Wow, what!!!! Yes they took my money again December 1st. I had called the corporate number November 26,which they instructed me that they didn't take complaints over the phone and I had to submit a form through "contact customer care" so I typed it up the next day, Nov 27 and submitted it. Today is December 5. This has gone on since the end of October and I have not received anything back from customer service, the local manager or the district manager...and I am out $58.32 and $58.32 or a total of $116.64. This is absolutely ridiculous! I guess they expect me to keep calling and submitting forms while they keep taking $58.32 per month from my hard earned money, every month!!!!!! read more

Maybe the managers need to be less worried about sleeping with maintenance staff and more about the people in the lobby over hearing them, and wanting to be waited on! read more

Awesome staff at the lancaster location. Very clean, upbeat environment. The manager Amber is fantastic and very knowledgeable. Rachel and Shelby have been great every time I visit and my tan has never been better. These ladies really know what thy're doing and always recommend the best product and time for my session. They've gained a lifelong customer. I will always continue to recommend them. Did I mention how wonderful my spray tan is!! read more
