I need to share my concerning experience with this Hand & Stone location. I've been a loyal member…read morewho has occasionally needed to reschedule appointments due to health reasons. After what should have been a routine medical procedure, I scheduled a massage thinking I'd recover quickly. When I unexpectedly started feeling unwell, I responsibly called to inquire about other available times. I ended up rescheduling once to allow myself time to rest. During this call, the male (Justin?) front desk member was inappropriately judgmental, saying, "Why would you schedule a massage knowing you had a procedure?" He then proceeded to ask what specific medical procedure I had undergone - an invasive and unnecessary question. He also falsely claimed I had rescheduled "twice," when I had only rescheduled once. Minutes after this uncomfortable conversation, my condition deteriorated rapidly, and I ended up in the Emergency Room. This was a genuine medical emergency with complications that no one could have anticipated. I understand and accepted the cancellation fee. What was unacceptable was the judgmental questioning and mischaracterization of my actions, especially given that I ended up in the ER immediately afterward. After I recovered - when trying to book online, I found my account restricted. When I called to ask why, I was told by the manager - Libby, that the owner Larae had blocked my online access "to clean up their books, for clients like me" forcing me to "call for all appointments to ensure I'd make it in". A wellness business should understand that health situations can change unexpectedly and treat clients with dignity. Questioning someone's medical decisions followed by restricting their account after they experienced an emergency requiring ER care shows a concerning lack of professionalism and compassion. I explained the situation to my home location, they understood, apologized on behalf of the Webster location and cancelled my membership.

I moved from webster and it shouldn't make any difference where you go as long as you use the packages. Customers pay too much money for them to have so many restrictions on their packages. But the unfair thing to me is that they have a 100% cancellation fee policy meaning if u cancel on them, they will charge you 100%. They cancelled one me. The other than that, the only appointment time I found are are only at 7pm 8:30pm no day time appointments. Anyways when I tried to reschedule, it was literally taking hours to get a response. I can't even comment on the service bc I not even able to reschedule in a timely manner.

I also told her I didn't want to sign up for a membership not knowing if the lashes would stick on mine since I didn't have many. Amazing Lash was totally honest with me. They could just have taken my money but gave me a true evaluation of my eyelashes. I don't have very many lashes to begin with and they would have just fallen off so they suggested I get a prescription or let them try to grow out. Vinh was very professional as was the manager that came out to speak with me. I appreciate this more than anything else since I had already gone to two previous techs who did a terrible job and just took my money and probably made my own lashes worse. The manager said that they would honor my discount once my lashes grew back and made a note on my account as well so that I wouldn't be considered a previous customer otherwise I'd have to pay a higher amount. This speaks volumes in my book and I will definitely recommend them because of their honesty. I will be back once my lashes grow back. Thank you Amazing Lash! This totally changed the vibe I perceived upon arriving.

I had to call twice for the refund in July and I was assured the autopay was removed then. And another charge comes out in August. Refund the August and REMOVE THE AUTOPAY! I canceled my monthly membership in June 2025 in person as requested. I was charged the monthly fee in July. After multiple phone calls to receive the refund and confirmation of cancelation, I finally received the refund. I was then charged AGAIN in August. This time im pissed. I had to go back through all the calls and I even emailed a screenshot of the charge. I spoke to Mya over the phone who ended up hanging up on me. So, I left work and I drove to the location in person to retrieve physical evidence of refund and membership cancelation. You can clearly see they are not removing the autopay from their system. DO NOT DO THE MEMBERSHIP. On another note, I waited two hours to be seen on my scheduled appointment (I was 5 mins early), the lash artist never showed up and I had to be seen by another provider. Other locations may be fine, I don't know gor sure, however, I would avoid this location at all costs. Unless you want months of aggravation and rude employees.
