Firstly, the counter girl in here was extremely attractive, and was also incredibly friendly and very interested and excited to ask what I was doing here and where I had come from. I don't think I encountered too many girls this friendly at tanning salons, there have been a few, but this one is right up there at the top of the list. The tan itself was great and worked perfectly - and they even gave me extra time. The beds were lovely, and the whole place was palatial. They were explaining why it was like a palace - because Palm Beach Tan took over a very nice salon, rather than one of the iffy ones that need renovation. It was not only the best one I used in the Deep South, but it might be the best one I've ever used in the whole country alongside the one in the north burbs of Dallas near the corporate HQ. Tanning at this location for YEARS! Have had a couple of issues from time to time but were quickly resolved. Trinity, Alyssa and Taylor always make me feel welcome. Great conversation with quick, accurate check in. Always friendly and when I do need lotion, they take their time explaining what's best for me. I highly recommend this location! read more

Myles the manager and his staff are extremely rude and unprofessional and unexperienced. The check in process is process is extremely long compared to other tanning salons. The tanning beds were never clean to satisfaction, there was still smudges on the beds. Surprise I didn't catch anything while I was using them. Therefore never use their eye protection, I always use my own. You couldn't pay me to go back their. They definitely need to learn how to clean and learn how to speak to people. I have been tanning for 15 years off and on and never been to a tanning salon like this. Go if you dare. read more

I came in Palm Beach tan 2 Sundays ago and a really sweet young lady named Holly was there. I was doing my very first spray tan and she went through every single step with me and she was so patient with all my questions. She greeted me as soon as I came in and even opened the door for me as I left, she also reminded the do's and don'ts of post spray tanning. This place itself is just ok. The wait can be long. They put their friends first then you will get your turn. Not very clean. Staff can be extremely rude. And always trying to sell you something. The guy there is really only friendly staff member. You would be better going somewhere else. read more

I shopped around tanning salons before finding palm beach and am thoroughly pleased with my experience. The prices are reasonable and they offer plenty of discounts. The staff is incredible, I have never felt pressured into buying anything, they've always been professional and courteous and know most of their customers by name. I have witnessed many of the staff working with other customers making sure their package and skin care is exactly what they want/need/can afford. I've had bad experiences in other salons with staff not caring about anything but a sale but these girls are patient, knowlegable and super friendly. I'm glad I found palm beach and anytime a friend talks to me about tanning I always recommend them. read more

I've been a member of the New Garden Got Sun? Tanning location for the past 8 years. I had many opportunities to switch to a different tanning salon- closer to where I live; I chose to drive 15 minutes to got sun while passing another tanning salon that was just 2 miles from my house. Why? Because the management and her staff were genuine and real- sure the "tan" was great but it was the people that won me over and earned my loyalty. Having said that, for the first time in the past 8 years I'm considering canceling my membership. I'm not a fan of the new buy out, Palm Beach Tan. The Palm Beach Tan staff are all obnoxiously fake. When I walk into the salon and I'm the only one walking in, it isn't necessary for a male to have a cheerleader pitch voice that can be heard at the other end of a football field- also, with that I would like to add I don't want to see a male wearing shorts so short that I would not let my daughter wear..ever. Sure you can be whatever you want to be at home or in your social life, but at the end of the day, this is a place of business and professionalism is key in customer service especially from the manager. I whole heartedly feel that I am no longer valued for my loyalty but now viewed as "just a number". No! thank you, but I don't want to nor will I ever want to purchase your $200 lotion set, So having said that, I don't need to be repetitively asked everytime there is a different PBT employee working. However, I am still pleased with the Got Sun staff and am grateful they are still there. Overall I think PBT just needs to tone it down a notch and be genuine- not so corporate oriented. I understand they are a corporation but still a happy Medium would be greatly appreciated! read more

Awful customer service!!!!! DO NOT TAN AT THIS SALON! Came in to visit and look around at Palm Beach Tan after a girlfriend at work told me about it and the amazing customer service. I was greeted by a girl with no personality and harsh tone who gave me a store tour after whispering to the young man behind the counter about it. My friend at work had the diamond package that the girl who toured her got her at a discount and I told the girl I didn't need a tour because I knew what I wanted and she gave me attitude. When asked about pricing she did not even mention the sale prices. she was pushy with buying multiple products, face, body, aftertan, and when I wanted just one she kept adding products. I love the tanning beds, and the product I purchased, but hate the customer service and staff. After signing up for a monthly DIAMOND membership I am continually harassed about products and lotions and extras I do not need. Myles the store manager told me if I needed anything that he was there to help, but is quick to pass me on to another member of staff to check in when he can't get a sale out of me. Come to find out when talking to my girlfriend at work about everything, this staff isn't who she was referring to!! The assistant manager, and two other young ladies who she loved and had signed her up QUIT because of Myles and how unfairly they were treated! How can a company allow rude, unprofessional, and pushy people like this work at their stores! Not to mention never having towels or a clean Diamond bed when I come in!! Something obviously needs to change! I wish I had seen Palm Beach Tan at its best with the other staff. read more
