Where to begins... I used to love this location but it has gone down hill from cleanliness to bad costumer service. Yesterday after work I walked in there and the girl asked my last name (no greeting), then tells me since I haven't been in 12 days my time will be bumped down and I reply no. She goes on to tell me they started doing that in January and I inform her that I've never had that happen and if your top beds are sold to me as only having to come once a week why does two extra days matter. She just looked at me. Hmm.. So calmly I ask to cancel my service. She cancels it and tells me it's done. I said I want a confirmation on that. Then she looks pissed and says it's sent to your email. I confirm it before I leave. I'll never go back again. I was already considering cancellation a month ago but bad attitude with no care personality employee is where I draw the line. I can just lay outside and get more tan than what I've been getting from there. Tanning isn't what it used to be. Cleanliness: I don't think they ever dust, sweep, or mop in those rooms. If you have leggings on and they touch the floor you'll have crap alk over them. Product: I am tired of being sold product that does nothing for me. Stop being pushy. People would like to tan in peace without attitudes. PS: If someone from Palm Beach reaches out asking me to email my complaint like they did to others on here, just know I'm not doing extra work for you and that's not how this works. Terrible customer service. I received a new card and went to put in on file before the money was to come out of my account. Went the money did not come out. I went to discuss it with them. I was told sorry, you didn't get your card in on time and we will be charging you the late fees. I have no control on when the bank issues me a new card and u should not be punished. The girl said this is the 3rd time it's happened and due to policy we can not waive the late fees!! When I tried to call the corporate office, I went to voicemail and it stated we would be contacting you in 48hours. I also feel the manger Morgan should have told me if I was not getting my card in on time. I guess this is how the company is scamming people, by letting them put their new card on file and not letting them know it's pass the date and that way they can charge late fees. I have been going to this location for about 4 years and I don't think they have ever swept the floors, especially behind the chairs. I was gone for a Month on summer vacation and I returned this week to be told I had to start back a 6 minutes and go up 1 minute per day even though it's obvious I just returned from a cruise. The manager has the ability to override this policy because it's been done in the past but she seems to just want to show she has power. If there was another tanning salon near by I would definitely switch but I'm stuck.what good is 6 minutes going to do? I really wish Whitney was still there! read more

I've been to mutiple palm beach tans and have never had a bad experience until the evans location. Absolutely terrible experience due to the manager and her unprofessional behavior on the phone and in person. I ended up walking out because she told me there could be a computer glitch and I not get the spray tan I already paid for so if I want it and to be able to tan I must upgrade to the most expensive package and pay for atleast two billing cycles. Keep in mind - I only wanted to tan a couple times before my wedding ( I'm not a routine tanner so it made no sense) Will not be returning. I am very disappointed and upset. I have been a customer of palm beach for more than 10 years plus until today. The sales rep told me I had a $25 gift card on my account that could only be used today. I told her I didn't want anything. She proceeded to ask me what I used and I told her nothing. She said oh you have to use something I told hey fine then get me a lotion for $25. She then brought over a lotion and rang it up. She said that would be $30.78. I'm assuming the $25 was going to be applied to that. She then said no it was in addition to the $25 gift card. I told her I had not planned on spending that today and to just refund my card because it was in no way presented to me that it was more than the gift card. I was then told by the representative along with the store manager that they didn't give refunds. I was incredibly upset. The entire sale was due to me being mislead. I can't believe how I was treated. All I wanted was my card credited before I left the store. The sales rep was clearly just concerned with her sales commission/quota than the customer. I was finally contacted after leaving 2 msgs from the district manager who agreed that the transaction should have been voided instead of credited to my account however according to her it will be 15 days until I will get my money back because that's just their policy. They drop the ball and the customer is the one to pay the price. My info had been emailed to pbtfeedback@tanningmail.com 3 times now I have yet to hear from anyone. read more

Franchises are great! You can always expect the same level of cleanliness, fresh tanning bulbs, lotion stock, and good service. Diamond level package is the way to go: its about 85$, however you get unlimited spray tans and can tan in any bed you want. The new VERSA sunless tanning spray booth is the best. BETTER than MYSTIC. Just makes sure to apply the barricade lotion all over hands,wrists, feet, and face. Gives you a flawless tan and nobody will be the wiser. This is not a complaint about the facilities, they are beautifully maintained and pristine. They make it really easy to sign up but cancelling is a nightmare. I moved from Augusta to Atlanta in September 2014 and forgot to stop by to cancel my account in person. I called the store and spoke to an employee and thought the account was closed. Palm Beach continued to charge my card, which I would dispute with my bank. After a few months, I called and spoke to the manager. Again, thought the situation was taken care of, but no. Then I sent a letter to the store manager, hoping that something with my physical signature would be enough to get it cancelled. Finally I contacted their corporate office who had their district manager call me. Not only was she rude and unhelpful, but she told me there was "no record" of me ever cancelling the account. She won't cancel my account until I pay the balance of charges and "late fees" that have built up over the last few months. If you are gonna sign up with these people, be prepared to fight for your right to cancel. What terrible customer service. read more

Love this place! Stopped by while I was in town to get a spray tan. The girls working the counter were delightfully friendly, and so helpful when it came to selecting what I wanted. They were having 25% off that day, which is awesome! This business is very clean, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. New Martinez location. Stopped in to get a price for a package. I asked for a price on 1 month for just a normal tanning bed. It was going to be $165 for a month without a membership. I actually said, "Are you kidding?". She said, "No." I said thank you and left. That is a ridiculous price and I am not sure what they think they are offering there. Yes they have nice beds, the place is new and everything looks clean. However, that price is outrageous. I went to South Beach. Not a nice place but it cost me $50.00 for the month. After 5 visits I have a good tan started... I can look past the oldness and the glam - to not be ripped off. After a couple more visits I will have my tan started well... and saved $100. read more
