This was only half of a small cheese steak! And the bread was baked on site. Recommended!

I cannot believe I had not tried it before. Excellent place, clean, amazing big menu and flavors and portions are great as well. Plenty of parking ans table service was friendly and flawless

One of my biggest complaints of this area is everything closes early (around 7/8PM). On the Thursday we arrived in nearby Intercourse, PA, we had a late lunch and weren't hungry until after 7. It seemed like our only options were fast food / chain restaurants. In came Palermo Pizza with takeout options and 388 4+ star reviews on Google (sorry Yelp) that sold us. This is a pretty small, nothing fancy Italian restaurant that also sells bottled beer, which was cool! Staff was speaking Italian to eachother so we knew it was legit. We ordered quite a bit for a group of 5 (apps, salad, pizza, stromboli, and two six packs of local beer) and it only came to $77. That's an insanely good price. Especially if you saw how much food we got. Prices are phenomenal. Apps are anywhere from $5 - $7. The white pie was by far my favorite. Very garlicky and big scoops of ricotta across the pie. I was disappointed in the mozz sticks as they tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. We got a buffalo chicken stromboli which was HUGE for the "medium" size but I wasn't crazy about the buffalo sauce they used. To be fair, I really wanted the spinach one but I was overruled LOL

Palermo's in New Holland, is the best! My husband and I order takeout and have dined inside the restaurant. They treat us and feed us, like we are family. The portions are so plentiful. Check out the Antipasto Salad, below.

A pizza shop, in general, is a great way to start a successful restaurant chain. The business restrictions and decisions are kept from the customer's eyes. All that matters is the quality of product: the pizza. Now one could surmise then, that the better the pizza, the better the restaurant success because wouldn't there be a ton of people leaving good reviews to let others know about the quality of pizza on Yelp? Unfortunately? Not at all the case. Here's the truth? this pizza is way too good to be from bumble, PA. It belongs on your dinner table tonight. It's not the best pizza I've ever had--just so you know? you'll have to fly out to Ibiza for that...but I'll save you the trip. This pizza can hold it's own. Good work folks! let me know what your thoughts are when you've tred it!

We received a welcome greeting by a very friendly lady who gave us menus to look over. We got a really good feeling about who is running this spot. Ordering is at the counter and then you seat yourself. Drinks and table ware is self serve, but they do bring the food out to you. Everyone working there is very clearly out Italian so we expected very authentic authentic meals. The decor is nice, but the booth seating is fast food like. After a short wait the salads arrived, which were very good. I appreciated the sweet marinated peppers on mine. The dressing isn't homemade, but it is Ken's, which is close enough. We also received warm toasted garlic bread. We each ordered pasta. My spouse got the angel hair with marinara which she enjoyed. I had spaghetti with clams which were plentiful, although the whole thing was swimming in olive oil. Way to much for me. At the end of our meal a man brought over some complimentary fried dough balls rolled in sugar which was a nice touch. All in all a nice experience.

When I moved here to Lancaster in 2017 from Long Island I just assumed pizza was one of those things I would have to live without but the pizza here is as good or better than most places in NY. I didn't know that they have a drive-thru window which is kinda cool. There is a parking lot in the back of the building or the side. The inside was a little dim in some areas coming off more dingy than cozy but interior was all clean and cozy other than that. We were the only people eating there on a Saturday night at 6pm which is fine by us. TV had NASCAR racing on so it wasn't so quiet and awkward. The staff were nice; the girl who was our waitress checked on us and was kind. We ordered at the counter then sat. Service was not very quick to get our food considering how many orders they had for pickup/delivery/door-dash happening. We got a grandma pizza, garlic bread, chicken Caesar salad and two soft bottled drinks. The star of the show was the grandma pizza super delicious!! The chicken in the Caesar salad was cooked very well. That's a big thing to me is if the chicken is overcooked, undercooked, pre-frozen etc. This chicken tasted pretty fresh and not frozen. Overall, I would give this experience a 4/5 stars. We would come back.
