We had an absolutely wonderfully prepared buffet and the residents there said the quality we received was normal and not for show, so that was good to hear. We had a brief tour passing through some lovely gardens and the closed campus seemed very safe and pleasant with its plantings and benches, and pets are allowed! The tour and event was for learning about the apartments and the building and hallways reminded us of our college dorms and wasn't as modern and fresh as hoped for, although they have tried to make them more pleasant with artwork and decorative touches. The little lobby and common rooms were pleasant to get one out of the apartments and wait for friend or visitors, and the bulletin boards were full of activities. They were updating the apartments and they really make the best of the space. Many have sizable terraces, but the one we saw didn't have much of a view. The staff and residents we spoke with were all very upbeat and happy to be there talking about the events on campus, transportation to appointments and events off campus, and the comfort of being where a continuum of care can be provided. They regularly offer various tours, so by all means, give them a call and see for yourself.

My dad has had numerous visits to the ED and we reached a point where the only safe and healthy decision for him was assisted living. He doesn't like me very much right now but I can live with that. My dad has been there less than a week and so far 5 stars is deserved. The home is clean and offers the residents many activities, 3 meals a day and the staff are simply amazing!! It is up to my dad to make the best of this, and truly everything is in the hands of a higher power. When the time comes for my dad to join the love of his life, I can rest easy knowing we made the best decision for his health and safety.

When they see family members come in, they act like they're super caring, but I've caught them several times ignoring the residents. Most of the residents look beat up and bruised from falling because they weren't being watched. The staff are thieves. Management could care less about anything. And your nickel and dimed for everything, you think you pay one price but your bill is several thousand dollars a month more. I was told one thing several times, but they never stick to their word they do what they want. I've never met a bunch of more uncaring people in my whole entire life. My parents were barely there for three weeks and couldn't wait to run away from that place as fast as possible. Don't fall for their bullshit.

I liked that they encouraged eating in the dining room and had nice table cloths with cloth napkins. He was given a choice for each meal. The PT was excellent and the facility is very clean. I am quite grateful for the good care I received from the nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and the outdoor grounds are beautifully maintained. However, there were notable areas that need improvement. There were times when the care staff felt stretched thin, leading to slow response times when calling for assistance. Furthermore, communication between the administrative team and family members could be improved. A major concern was the doctors, who visit the facility sporadically; my wife was never able to speak with them. The biggest issue was the performance of the physical therapy team. There was no set schedule whatsoever, and they often rushed through sessions in just five minutes, combining physical and occupational therapy together. I tracked each visit to the gym, and we never reached the expected five sessions per week for either physical or occupational therapy. While it is a nice facility with a caring nursing staff, closely monitoring the therapy department, staffing levels, and doctor communication would make the experience much better.

Although my grandma needed a high level of care , Corina and John and their staff did all they can to always make her feel at home and make sure she is living her last years to her maximum potential. I fully recommend this retirement home for anyone that wants a personable , loving , professional, clean and affordable experience. I can honestly say that I noticed my grandma getting better at times when I had no hope and it was all because of the amazing staff and care that American Dream Retirement home provides. Their retirement home is the best designed and equipped retirement home I've ever encountered - it is truly a site to see. I definitely recommend checking this place out before you consider any other business.
