So what did they force ALL of their tenants in towers 1 and 2, to do? They forced everyone to pay for their own parking, off site, for a whole month. That's right, they made ALL of the tenants who lived there, to not only pay for their own parking for a whole month, they also made everyone park off site, and make their own arrangements to do so. We've had water floods from the above unit three times. I want to give more information, but my blood is boiling over just thinking about this situation all over again. We had a balcony as well, and the units above would constantly toss their trash, food, and cigarette butts onto our balcony. Management wouldn't really do anything about it. Most of the concierge there are friendly, in fact very much so. But one or two of them have been very nasty. One of the very nasty ones, thankfully no longer works there. At any rate, I'm through with this place. Wife and I wanted to buy a unit there, but no way in hell we'd ever even consider it again. Stay away.....far away. -j

The condominium has two parking Garages: Retail Parking: WA Square validate parking only up to four hours for your guests. Guests who come to your place and stay more than four hours, have to pay parking at an hourly rate or find street parking. WA Square did have overnight parking passes (although limited in amount), however the management decided to stop that program starting from January 2013. WA square overlooked parking situation for your guests (as opposed to what is stated on their official website) and they aggravated the guests parking situation by their decision to discontinue the overnight parking passes program. Garage with limited spots where guests can stay only for four hours: Guests who stay there more than four hours will have their car towed. They will not get a ticket, nor a warning, but something along the lines of 500 $ bill of towing charges. That actually happened to one of my guests.

AC vents? Smell like they haven't been cleaned since the building was constructed. Amazon locker roulette: Lockers are down by the dumpster. Classy. Don't be surprised if your package ends up with a neighbor--or in another building entirely. Access system overkill: You'll need three separate systems to live your daily life here. Butterfly app, SmartRent, and a fob--none of which work well together. Android users, prepare to be locked out. Food delivery scavenger hunt: No clear delivery instructions, and couriers can't navigate the Butterfly app. After 10+ times of searching for my food in random buildings or outside, I've accepted that my dinner now lives in the wild. Airbnb-palooza: Strangers coming and going 24/7, no background checks, and enough weed stench in the halls to hotbox the whole floor. Who needs safety or a sense of community, right? Bottom line: If you like cold air and chaos, this is your place. Otherwise, maybe wait for a management overhaul--or a miracle.

Shout out to Mimi, and then Schick, both were fantastic. But after they left things really went downhill. Management was just a lot more unresponsive, less helpful. Maintenance folks were good but of course they depend on management to relay tickets, so that was a problem. Turnover was a real problem as well - some just seemed clueless. The worst thing honestly was after we moved out. Manager was very lazy about how he handled the final inspection and refund of our deposit. I had provided him a new address to send it to and also had mail forwarding so that wasn't the issue, and of course he had my phone number and email address. I called but was simply told it'd be a couple of weeks. Still nothing so I email them multiple times, still nothing. So I just let it go. Fast forward a year and we receive a letter from a DEBT COLLECTOR (IQ Data Inc, a notoriously aggressive and unpleasant debt collector, look up reviews). Turns out the cleaning costs/final utilities cost more than the deposit - but the manager had failed to send a statement of charges, and worse, wouldn't even respond to my multiple attempts to follow up on our deposit/any charges. Instead he just let it go straight to collections... I asked if I could at least be refunded/reimbursed for the interest the debt collectors were charging on top of the original charges, a measly $27, but wouldn't even do this. Be warned, this is the sort of thing you may have to deal with after the move out. Not a rent paying resident anymore so they don't care I guess. There were also multiple break ins in the parking lot even during evenings when the garage doors should have been closed - seems they just left it open because it was easier e.g. for contractors. My car was broken in but nothing was stolen (don't leave valuables of course!), but a coworker who also lived there straight up had his car stolen. It might seem cheap for the location (still expensive of course, this is Bellevue), but it's for a reason. Updating my review since the new manager also broke their promise and ended up refusing to reimburse me.

They are always ready to help you and solve your problem. I can feel they really care about your problems and want to make your stay comfortable and happy. I had a package showed delivered but actually the mail man did not delivered to my door or in the locker. Manager MT helped me, we looked every possible corner. Although we failed to find it, he suggests me to send him the proof of delivery and he will help me asking the mailman where the package is. I really appreciate his help for me, which makes me feel much better from the frustrations of finding a missing mail. Besides, their building is concrete so that it is always quiet. They have air conditioning and they have great places for BBQ, game, party. And they have a gym. I like their decorations in the lobby and hallways. They have a lot of lightning in the room so you may not need to buy several floor lamps. I love their kitchen island, which save me buying a dining table. There are 7-11 and CVS next to the Meyden; and a 5 mins walk to Safeway. So it is convenient! Also, the downtown park are great for walker, jogger, dogs; the beach park has a stunning view all season, and super fun water sport time in the summer. During that time the charge was sent to the collection agency and they started spoiling our credit score. We decided to pay it off to save the credit rating. Judge said that you couldn't return your money back from the collection agency in this case. If you don't need these kinds of problems do not move in to this place.

Hello! I've lived at…read moreThe 101 for a number of years, and generally enjoyed the experience. Both Dee and Joe are wonderful people. The complex is no longer livable. A construction site has been erected next door, and the noise and shaking is incredible. It begins, every weekday, at 7:00 a.m. and the beeping/slamming/crashing cannot be drowned out even with earplugs. Just for laughs, I checked the decibel level in my apartment at 8:30 a.m.; with no appliances running and seated at my desk (approximately 15 feet away from a closed sliding-glass door), the decibel meter read a very respectable 70 decibels. For the people who will rush to dispute this review, that's about the sound of a running vacuum or hair dryer. Except, of course, those noises generally don't persist for 8-10 hours per day. Oh, and they don't tend to physically shake the unit, either. I cannot open my sliding glass doors for ventilation because of the dust and smoke from the site -- but that's okay because I'm sure I'm getting plenty of it, even with all the rain, through the ventilation ducts. The unit's balcony might be a selling point, except it's unusable during daylight hours. The property manager was condescending, suggesting to me this long-term construction is part of the landscape. Pillar Properties is unwilling to accept the notion this construction has dramatically impaired my ability to function in the apartment. Meanwhile, I am immunocompromised and quarantined for the duration of the Covid pandemic. Even if I were vaccinated and able to move, the Pillar folks won't discuss an early termination of the lease. So I'm here with the banging and clanging and shaking for eight more months. To the point: Hello, devil. Welcome to hell! (And anyone who's thinking of moving here, know that construction has just begun and won't be completed until 2022 or 2023.)
