The only reason I rate this a one is because they charged me for entrance (Even though I'm 23) and a dance. However, the staff was really good, I haven't tried their food, but maybe next time. I would improve the entrance fee, anyone 21+ do not have to pay, if you're under 21, you get the $30 fee. Dances/VIP should be should vary in the range of $20 - $35 for an hour (depending how long they want it), which will makr it easily affordable for the customer and the dancers can rack up money faster. read more

Came in here after finishing the night out on 6th. Place was packed and the parking lot was full, but it was a huge lot so parking wasn't hard to find. I think my friend paid $20 for each of us to get in, which is pretty comparable to what I'd pay when I go to the Men's Club in Houston. HOWEVER, at the Men's Club they provide free breakfast buffet. Not the case here. The girls are all about business. My friend bought me a lap dance froma dancer that lasted maybe a little over a minute. Why? Because she started halfway through a song and when the song was over, she was like "would you like another dance?" Like, serously?! My typical experience at gentlemen's clubs is when they get with you halfway through a song is they would either talk/flirt with you until a new song starts or they'd do mini-dance until a new song starts. Not here, though. They just want to take your money and run. And oh, let's not forget that she asked for $30 for the dance, which was then lowered to $25. Whaaaat? Nah, just nah. Me and my friend spent the majority of our time just standing around because the place was super packed and there were plenty of people dancing around. I finally had to excuse myself and go to the car because I started to feel sick and didn't want to make a mess inside. I told my friend to take his time. About 20-30 minutes later he came out saying that none of the girls would even try and talk to him - a far different experience from most clubs in Houston, Vegas, and New Orleans. Will I be back? Probably not. I'm not too familiar with the Austin scene, but the Palazio will definitely not be the place where I'd be spending my money. From the moment we walked in with our group for a Bachelor party the host, cocktail waitress and management all insisted that they had no room at any tables in the pit and all they had for us was champagne rooms for $625 or $595 for the night with one bottle. Clearly this was a lie as there were more empty tables than full. But in light of having a good time we got the champagne room for $595 w/one bottle and the room for the night. Well, without asking, the girls, the cocktail waitress and host took us to our area. At least 10 girls sat down with us just talking and without mentioning to us they all were looking for $500 for a 1/2 he and $1000 for an hour. Now if they had mentioned that prior to sitting and hanging out drinking our booze we'd have said let us get acclimated and figure out what girls we were interested in. Well they began charging our credit cards for 1/2 hour and hour time for all 10 of the girls even though we did not ask for any of it. It all went down hill from there. This place is a ripoff if you come in a group. Maybe they don't do that to one or two guys that walk in together, but beware of what they are doing to you if you're coming in with a group. I visited this area for a close friends bachelor party and at the end of the night, after the clubbing was over, my group of nearly 15 came here. To be quite honest, I would have been happy just grabbing a drink and buying a dance for my friend. Instead, the type of service we received is what warranted this review. 1. The social model here is backwards; the dancers expect the people to approach them to ask for dances, etc. 2. About 60% of the dancers only do VIP packages (nearly a $700 dance for half hour) 3. The behavior of the dancers is quite stand-off. Almost unapproachable. Austin treated us well, but Palazio, unfortunately, was the let down of the trip. I'm coming to Austin again next month for another party and can't endorse anyone going here as long as they're okay with this sort of superficial and client bias behavior. read more

I prefer my dancers to be a bit on the trashy side: stretch marks, C-section scars, and poor dental health are all essential characteristics of my type of dancer, and I just can't find anything like that at this place. They all pretty much looked alike. Also nothing but white girls, it didn't help that they all had the same body type, height, skinny, with no ass.
