Let me start by saying..WOW. This is, by far, the best gentlemen's club in Austin. I finally got to visit a club on a Saturday and there is a major difference. The girls were much more attractive and there were a ton of them. This club has 3 stages and there were girls on all three starting around 8:30. Within 30 minutes of being there, 2 dancers approached not only my fiance, but me as well. I definitely give them props for that. There were almost as many women as there were men in the club and tons of couples, which makes me happy to see. The parking lot was spacious and they offer valet parking as well as limo service every night from 7PM until close if you are VIP. Let's talk money. It was only a 10 dollar charge for each of us to get in the door. That is the cheapest we have paid yet. Let me add that we were seated by our cocktail waitress so we didn't have to choose our own table. She asked us what area we wanted to sit in and she was able to get us really close to the stage. They have daily specials from 11-4 on food and on Saturdays, you can get a 5 dollar burger. We didn't eat here so I can't tell you if the food is good or not but there is a ton of options on their menu and it is all pretty cheap. We spent around 50 dollars for 6 drinks but they were doing shot specials all night. You have to try a margarita though if you go here. My man had one and kept raving about it and we are big margarita connoisseurs so that is a big deal. We didn't get a lap dance last night but there were tons of specials and they kept announcing 2 for 1 table dances. I was impressed by the fact that they had a full bar and not just one but two of them. The bigger bar also had a Texas Holdem table that started a game up around 9 PM. The VIP section was not tucked away behind black curtains at this club but instead the tables right by the stage were reserved with black table cloths for the VIPs.They got more attention from the dancers and constantly had the girls checking on their drinks. We were not VIP but still had a great view of the stage as did many others so that was a definite plus. The dancers seemed pretty comfortable with touching but we did see one that had to keep moving a guy's hands because he was grabbing her ass. I think he finally got the memo after she did it a few times but there were 3 or 4 men walking around in black suits that could have come to her rescue at any time if she needed it. Before we left home, I told my man I wanted to see a bachelor party. I don't know why but I just thought it would be fun to watch. When the waitress seated us, we were right behing a few tables that had a reservation card on them and to my delight, around 10:00, a bunch of guys came in to claim their table and one was wearing a "Show me your tits!" sash which could only mean one thing, he was getting married. They had several of the girls in their circle that danced for them for a long time but we did not stay long enough to see if they pulled him on stage or embarrassed further. Maybe I can catch that next time. I am a stickler for a clean bathroom when I go to a club or restaurant. I remember telling him when we pulled up into the parking lot that I would be happy just to have a door that led directly into the women's restroom instead of having to walk through the dancer's dressing room. And there was! It was clean, covered in mirrors, stocked with plenty of toilet paper and had 3 working stalls. What more could a girl ask for? This club definitely gets our seal of approval and we will be visiting again. I recommend any one else that lives or is visiting Austin, do the same. read more

Have you ever been kidnapped? it happened to me, right at this place. Long story short: I was with friends having a good time when some creepy-looking old dude grabbed my chair (with me in it) and started moving me places. I didn't want to fight but I wanted him to stop, so I told him: "hey, you moving me places against my will--aside from unsolicited--technically is kidnapping. Please stop." "Under federal and state law, kidnapping is commonly defined as the taking of a person from one place to another against their will, or the confinement of a person to a controlled space." Turned out this man was the owner. His little ego got so offended that I said that that he had to call security and take me out of the place. While outside, his dogs security guards tried to start a fight with me, assaulting me verbally and calling me names, such as piece of shit and the like. I put my hands behind my back and told them I wasn't interested in engaging on a fight. They eventually stopped and I decided to call the police and let them handle the situation. Turns out, Austin Police (APD) sided with the owner and said that this wasn't the definition of kidnapping and I was actually committing "criminal trespass" and that if I didn't leave they'd have to arrest me. Me, being a reasonable person, left without thinking twice or arguing back. I tried calling a Lyft but my phone battery died so ended up walking 2+ hours home in the middle of the night. Almost got mugged by a homeless guy but that's a different story. Anyway, it's sad to know that people like this old dude think they can get away with anything just because they own a business. Sadder--even--is to know that those to swear to protect/enforce the law side with these types of people because they have money and power. Makes you wonder if you're really worth anything in this country. This really got me undergoing emotional stress. Posting anonymously since I'm considering pressing charges. Probably involving state or federal entities since local police doesn't seem to understand the definition of kidnapping. read more

NOT a FAN AT ALL! I was with a buddy going to SXSW and we decided to hit the strip clubs. We had an awesome time the night before at another club and I wanted to go back to the first place but my friend conned me into going to the Yellow Rose. I should have follwed my gut and went back to Palazio but we ended up at this dump. The place was pretty dirty and cheap looking from the parking lot all the way to the bathroom. The bouncer at the door was pretty rude and made it his mission to antagonize me on the way in. No idea why. The girls seemed lackluster and looked like they wanted to be someplace else. It's not that they weren't cute...they were. but they didn't seem to have personalities. It took me FOREVER to get one to our table and one of the waitresses (who WAS very helpful, by the way-I think her name was Kim or Kitten-I feel bad that I can give props to the ONE person who made my night a little better) The music was loud and overbearing. It seemed like they were trying to be a regular club with the attitudes they all semed to have. I'm from NYC and I KNOW how to go out and the way they did it at yellow rose was amateur night at Best. I was sadly disappointed by the food-dry, tough steak and by the atmosphere. I wish I could say I had a great time here but I can't...So, I won't. Do yourself a favor and stay away. read more

This place is a brothel not a strip club. Most of the guys that hang out here are pimps, drug dealers and thugs. Not a safe place to drink or host a party. Most of the dancers at the rose are escorts that come to work to find new customers to take home after work for sex. There are two Vietnamese strippers who work there that will do anything for the right price in the "dirty" booths behind the curtains in VIP areas. One of them always wears the same school girl outfit and she never goes on stage. Most of the dancers here also have ads on backpage and are 7/10 at best. The girls know that the high quality dancers with good looks work at Palazio or Perfect 10 (P10) because they make more money but these are escorts not stippers and they make most of their money after work. The Yellow Rose was cool about 5 years ago but then it became known as a place to buy drugs and find prostitutes and the management lost control and gave up trying to hire top notch talent. The carpet smells like dead fish , mildew and vomit ... don't waste your time or your money. Palazio and P10 are well worth the drive and you will have a MUCH better experience. Love the Rose! I went in the first time the other day and the waitstaff is hott and the dancers are hotter! My buddies and I walked in and we were seated in VIP (We are NOT vips either!) our waitress said she can bump people up into vip on occasion and that we could sit in vip at no extra charge! How sweet is that?! So now we are seated in vip and the ladies are just all over us - sitting in our laps, doing rounds of shots with us and giving us dances - it was deff. the right way to party at a strip club. We were the envy of all the other guys you could see it in the way they were looking at us. Our smokin hot waitress is super attentive and taking great care of us - our drinks are never empty for long before a fresh drink is in our hands. Be Prepared to BE ROBBED! I left my expensive leather coat at closing, came back the next day after their "cleaning crew" was there and poof no coat. I know the cleaning crew swiped it. The manager "Kenny", a useless 3rd grade educated DB was no help, they refused to give me the name of the cleaning crew, they refused to look at the video surveillance. They basically told me to go F myself. If this is the kind of experience you desire, go for it!!!!! and to the cleaning crew, I will continue to pursue this until one of you is in jail. read more
