It's been due time I review this spot. Chicas bonitas offers what your aching bones need. ;) They actually happen to have some type of Cuban connection because a lot of the ladies are from there. I won't question the arrangement since they seem to be comfortable and happy with the way things are. $10 to get in (I have used my military discount to get in for free before, so you active guys out there make sure to mention it.) $7 beers. Smoking allowed in the outside back area. All lap dances are $10 unless you go to the VIP. Don't bother with that, but it's your money and your lap. Speaking Spanish will help most lap dances become VIP dances. They now have a bathroom attendant that is pretty annoying and totally unnecessary considering that only about 3 guys fit total in that tiny space! As she strode up the catwalk, her cankle's cries were disguised by the thump of music as the floorboards begged for a mercy killing . If you like big girls and personal hygiene is more of a suggestion than a requirement then you are going to fucking love this place. When I say this place is dark, I don't mean it's full of black people. I mean the actual lighting is non-existent. It's about 1400 sq ft with one 40 watt light bulb. You can barely make out the 240 lb silhouette of the girl who's dancing on stage. When I say this place is nasty, I don't mean they don't wash their hands after cooking (but they probably don't). I mean they are downright animals in here. The dudes will dry hump the girls on stage and get total boners and just act like that's normal. Back in my college days, this place was called The Lady. Definitely one of the nastier strip clubs in town, but we used to walk over as we lived nearby. Good times. It has now become Chicas Bonitas, offering fine topless entertainment for the discriminating Latino, or so the sign says. I'm not Latino, so just to be safe I brought my Latino friend with me. We initially walked in as a joke and thought we'd probably stay for 10 minutes, but we ended up having a few drinks, which turned into a few more drinks, and before we knew it, they were kicking us out at 2ish and we were wondering where the night went. They pretty much have girls of two types here - fat and really fat. Sir Mix a Lot would be in heaven here. Although the girls are mostly jumbo sized, the outfits are unfortunately not. There is more cottage cheese here than at the HEB distribution center! The great thing about places like this, at least for me, is that there are always 2 or 3 really petite girls, and none of the Latino guys like them, so they are readily available. Sure enough, found 3 or 4 good looking thin girls and monopolized their time. Dances are a measly 10 bucks! As with most places like this, dance quality varies from girl to girl. Drinks are amazingly stiff, so much so that I didn't believe my Jack and Coke was made with Jack. Wicked strong - we're still working off the hangovers from this place 20 hours later. If you like your women thick and speaking Spanish, this is your happy place. Music is all spanish as well. I staggered into Chicas Bonitas to cap off a World Cup bar crawl with a finale gigante. I'm not into sports. I'm into...other things. The hostess was incredibly friendly, all the dancers were cool as hell and we shared smokes on the back patio listening to a punk band practice nearby. I got asked to DJ, I got invited to a BBQ. The drinks weren't crazy cheap across the board but the Bud Light pitchers were affordable and serviceable enough, with the bonus of glowing under the blacklights. No trouble at all from any of the crowd, and I got lots of attention from the dancers. In response to some of the less gracious remarks made by some of the other Yelpers - whom I am sure are objectively attractive and not touched by nature in any way - the ladies looked natural, smelled lovely, and have loads of charm. read more

Wow! This place is a nightmare. Like myself, a few old buddies were in town for the Holidays and we decided to get together for some good old fashioned college silliness. We knew we weren't about to walk into the classiest of joints but I guess that was somewhat part of the allure. I had absolutely no idea how truly bad this place would be. First of all, it smells like like a homeless shelter...in the summer...with no air conditioning. The ambiance of puke and piss sets the stage for what comes next - the girls. The place was disgusting beyond belief, fellas avoid going to the men's bathroom, it smelled like something died in there and being that it is literally next to the sitting area, it really stunk up that area of the room. I don't drink and I don't see myself enjoying a meal as I observe other guys getting dances (especially if the parties involved are unattractive). The private dance area has soiled chairs that pretty much look as if they were picked up at a junk yard. As its name states, they primarily cater to the undiscriminating Latino male. As for the girls, there is some variety, but there is a strong focus on Latino females. During my visits I have found 1 or 2 girls with beatiful "thick" curvilineal physiques as opposed to the standard rectangular, large tummy, cellulitis covered body shape.
