But unfortunately this cowork business is not as professional as I thought it would be. I had a dedicated desk on the 2nd floor. After the 1st week working there I knew I wouldn't stay. The space is great with awesome natural light but kitchen is very poorly maintained: dirty, no one is responsible for cleaning it nor load and unload the dishwasher. No napkins, no salt, not enough silverware. Coffee machine has been broken for 2 months for the whole time I was there.Microwave worked occasionally. Bathroom is not cleaned regularly so sometimes there is no hand soap and paper is just overflowing the garbage can. After 2.5 years operating, this cowork space doesn't have a wireless printer. Downstairs is very nice and modern but upstairs is another story. If you are looking for hot desks downstairs you will be fine. Same thing for private offices: these are their main business. If you are looking to for dedicated desks though forget about it! With exception for the front desk person the staff is not customer oriented. Emails are not always timely responded and phone calls not answered. I've been working out of a cowork space in Portland, OR for years and I know what to expect. This is not at all close to what I had for less money. After the first week I requested to leave but I would lose my deposit. They preferred to stay with an unhappy client than to accept their flaws and let me go with no penalty. They have a wonderful space! I hope they can make a better use of it and provide a better service - more aligned with the prices charged.

The design and decor of the space itself should be why you come here. It's bright, beautiful, and relaxing. The wifi is great, and there are a ton of outlets, which is are the two things I was specifically looking for in a co-working space (and it's something that a lot of cafes lack). Sabrina, the owner is so welcoming and is always willing to go above and beyond for her members. She works hard to bring us all together. When I first came in, she introduced me to everyone who was working in the space that day. She takes the time to get to know you and will work to accommodate what your working needs are. She even hosts lunch for us sometimes during the week, and Happy Hour Wednesdays as a way to build the community at L'Atelier. Another bonus is the free coffee and kitchen appliances. Keeping me caffeinated throughout the day and giving me a place to store my lunch is points in my book! If you're looking for a co-working space, definitely come to L'Atelier. I'm a solopreneur, so the hot desk was perfect for me. The interiors are fantastic - open concept and modern with comfortable chairs. The vibe was awesome... seems like highly motivated tech workers & entrepreneurs are here. They have Happy Hour every Thursday... this is a great opportunity to socialize with other members. BONUS: Beer & cider is on tap! You can't go wrong with that!

This place is a little bit more expensive than the other places but it's totally worth it. It's definitely a premium shared office space compared to all of the other places I visited and I know I will be coming back again soon!
