I currently work in a…read moreprivate office and the WeWork community mangers, amenities and space have been a great asset to my day to day work experience. First of all, there is free coffee, tea, kombucha and beer on tap. I don't know how much I saved this year from this perk but let's just say this simple perk was a very helpful necessity. Second, this WeWork has a gym in the building, unlike other WeWork locations such as Metrotown. Although the food selection available at this location is limited (ex. T&T, A&W, Pink Elephant, Tim Hortons, Subway, Neptune Dim Sum, Coco BBT, YiFang), I value the free gym more. The staff are super friendly! Big shoutout to Sandy, Simon and Dominik for helping us operate, hosting amazing Happy Hours on Thursdays and ensuring our work space is the right fit. There are various spaces to work in such as booths, private booths, telephone booths, open tables and private offices that fit from 1 person to 20 people. Also, I noticed that offices that need a more aesthetic space to host events and conferences but are not part of WeWork are welcomed. There is a balcony to make your event even special or when you need air to destress or observe the beauty of life. If anyone needs a need office space, don't hesitate to visit WeWork at Marine Gateway!

He was incredibly rude on the phone telling me to go west. I told him I'm not from here so sadly don't know which direction that was and he condescendingly said "the direction the sun sets in." the property was in the middle of a bunch of skyscrapers, I have no idea which direction that is in the middle of the day when I'm in the area for the first time. he then proceeded to grill me on why I need a two bedroom for one person. insisting I planned to sublet which I do not. when I told him I wanted a room for my guests who visit me he rolled his eyes as if I was lying. it's truly none of his business why I'd want another space, but I was incredibly polite and accommodating to even tell him that. I told him I'm moving from a 4 bedroom house, but still he continued to rudely imply that I was subletting. bro. I'm not lying to you. also it's none of your business if I want a bigger space. I ended up leaving before seeing the unit. the first thing he said to me upon arrival was "I have other business transactions to do today so I don't have time" since I was late, I apologized for the umpteenth time. anyhow I ended up leaving. he's reallllly mean and condescending and full of himself. not a way to work with customers. he looked at me as if I was beneath him from the beginning. this man knows nothing about me. maybe hes racist as he gave me racist vibes. or hates women. or just a complete stuck up jerk. sad. moving on! don't rent from this company if you want to be treated with respect.
