Ferdy, the owner of Palacios was wonderful to work with; His company has the best approach to full and long lasting coverage and a 3 year guarantee with pricing being exactly the same across 3 vendor comparisons. They are head and shoulders above the rest. I also had a fantastic experience with his painter, Alex. He was masterful in his work, diligent, strategic and took great care of my property. The results were better than I had imagined. I would highly recommend and will be using Palacios each and every time. read more

I had my garage encapsulated in vinyl siding. Palacios Painting was hired to make the garage water-tight and resolve any wood rot. The garage was originally made with wood siding, so it would get wet and rot away when it rained. They did a phenomenal job. They were communicative, professional, timely and answered questions. We could check-in with confidence and know our questions would be answered. They did a great job explaining what "step" they were at in the process. At some point we had a request to add flashign to the garage. They were very flexible and understanding. By the end, the garage looked brand new! The vinyl siding and Tyvek is perfect for protecting the garage from rain. Ferdy arrived to review the project outcome and make sure it was to our specification. It was a relief to know the garage was restored. We're confident this is a long-term repair that will keep the garage water-tight. I would recommend them, and will definitely reach out to them for future projects. read more

I had my basement renovated. I hired Palacios Painting for the point up and painting and they did an excellent job. The first day, they took their time in protecting the floors, furniture and work area. They did not rush the job. They did not feel creepy or unpleasant around the house. They were very professional. They took their time in repairing, pointing up and caulking where it was needed and worked long hours to get the job done. The final product was excellent. The craftsmanship is undeniable. I will recommend them to family, friends and to anybody that needs some work done. I will definitely keep them in mind for the future projects. Thanks. read more

Super honest, fair, professional painter. I had a small repair. He came out and gave me an estimate and completed the job the same day after other appointments. As an elite Yelper, take it from me, solid man. Has a family, not creepy, not weird, normal and about business. read more

I can't say enough good things about this company. Ferdy was super responsive and the quality of the work was excellent. When I needed a spot touched up, he sent someone the same day. I will definitely use them again. read more

The project involved painting the entire interior of a 3-story townhouse. We received 3 quotes and selected Palacios Painting, in part based on prior ratings we saw regarding the company. Also the quote was very competitive. We were very pleased with the results. The attention to detail (workmanship) was excellent. The project team was very respectful of the property and they were very attentive to our requests. The cleanup after the job was excellent. We loved that they removed the window treatments and other accessories and put them back better than before. Communication was excellent. We highly recommend this company based on our experience. read more

Ferdy was communicative, responsive, honest, and wanted to make sure we were satisfied. His team worked very hard and diligently (we got our whole house painted which was a LOT of work). The house looks beautiful and we definitely recommend them! read more

I was very happy with the Palacios team! They painted the exterior of our house. The final cost was exactly the quote. They worked within the guidelines needed for our historic preservation tax credit. They were always friendly and accommodating. Communication (e.g. with respect to when they would be here) was absolutely fine. Ferdy was great about staying in touch and responding to questions. The end result is clean and professional. I would certainly hire Ferdy Palacios again. read more

Painting and minor repairs: Deck rails, lattice, etc. Ferdy and his crew arrived on time and started work immediately. As a single woman homeowner, it was important to me to have someone whom I could trust. I will gladly hire them again...and again. read more

I just want to say how thrilled I am with the meticulous work Palacios did at my home in the Holiday Park neighborhood. There was a ton of "deferred maintenance," which meant an awful lot of prep work -- scrapping peeling paint, replacing damaged wood, reglazing old windows, patching holes in the siding, and so on. Everything was done right, not cutting corners, with priming and two coats of high quality paint. Doors and trim looking spanking new. They even repainted the black mailbox before remounting it! read more

We had Palacios Painting paint our living room and halls on the inside of our house and dormer siding, garage door, and the trim around our entrance way. They had to rebuild much of the entrance way and spent a long time removing old paint from what we could salvage. They really did it right! On the inside they left it cleaner then it was before they came and the outside paint job (primer and two coats of Benjamin Moore Aura) looks fantastic. Very professional crew!! They are not the least expensive but well worth it! read more

Went with Palacios after stellar recommendations here on Yelp and in our community, and was not disappointed. Professional, prompt, and a stellar job painting child's room and playroom. Ferdy provided a great estimate on site, followed up to schedule quickly, and he and crew were right on time for the job. He recommended some colors to consider, which look great, and also did the extra work to patch up some nail pops and drywall issues during the job. read more

Ferdy Palacios' crew did a fabulous job on both interior and exterior painting. They were very timely and careful, protected all surrounding areas with plastic sheeting, did multiple coats plus primer, and cleaned up thoroughly. It was a real quality job at a reasonable price, and I would highly recommend them. The team was very pleasant to work with, and Ferdy was quickly responsive to texts and questions. read more

I am so pleased to have found Ferdy and his dedicated team at Palacios Painting of Silver Spring! Mobile (240) 644-5391. Both inside and outside our home in College Park, the painters were professional, exceptionally competent and meticulous. Our foreman, Mario, arrived early, worked long hours with steady focus, handled our belongings like precious art objects, and cleaned up thoroughly when they finished their work. When a problem arose, be it an escaped cat or a rotten area of exterior wood, they were effective problem solvers. They surely deserve our five star rating! read more

Palacios painted the whole interior of our house - walls, ceilings, and woodwork. They did a fantastic job and left the place looking great. They worked long hours and got the job done quickly and the price was exactly what Ferdy quoted. I would definitely recommend this company and will certainly use them again. read more

We used Palacios Painting for several projects, including ceiling/wall repair/painting after a water leak. They also painted all the trim in our kitchen. Perhaps most impressively, they scraped, sanded, and repaired damaged wooden boards on the front of our house in Georgetown, painted the house and trim and reglazed the windows. It looks like a new house! In every respect, they were polite, professional, efficient and did a magnificent job, at a very fair price. We don't intend to ever use anyone else for any future work we need. Mrs. C read more

Ferdy is just the best! A pleasure to deal with, professional, honest and reliable. I work as a personal assistant and I had Ferdy work for all of my clients. Everybody was always happy with the work, and I was never disappointed. read more

Palacios Painting, Inc painted the entire exterior of my home earlier this year. The did an extremely thorough and excellent job! The job included sanding, priming, 2 coats of exterior oil based paint, sanding, priming and painting steel stairs and wrought iron handrails front and back and carpentry repair at deteriorated fascia, trim and shutters. They removed and cataloged all the existing storm windows to ensure full access to the wood windows. No other previous painters had not done this. They sanded, primed and painted all the wood windows, muntins and cleaned and puttied up in areas in need. Afterward the came back to make sure they all opened and closed properly. They did a masterful job of repairing rotted areas of wood doors and garage door. They stripped, primed and repainted our front door as well. The workers were efficient, friendly and did a good job of cleaning up after each days work. Ferdy the owner did a very good job of scoping the project in advance to avoid changes to price as much as possible. Where unforeseen additional repairs were needed costs were fair and justified. When the storm windows were ready to be reinstalled I decided to have them painted as well to match the actual windows. This labor intensive task was performed at a fair additional price. It was worth the cost as this made a big difference in the overall appearance of the house. Ferdy was hands on during the entire pricing process, actual painting and project closeout. I would heartily recommend Palacios for your painting project. He wants a happy and satisfied customer at the end of the day of whom I am one! Palacios will not be the least expensive painter you consider but you will receive excellent service and value for your money. I expect this paint job to last far longer than any of the less expensive painters I've used in the past. Thank you! read more

I used Palacios Painting after being disappointed with 2 other painters. Ferdy and his crew of workers are detail oriented, professional, and one can tell they take pride in their work. They were Always on time and would take their shoes off to protect your flooring and carpeting. They arrived at my house at 8 AM on the dot!! As you know with painting, the prep part is very important. They covered every aspect of flooring, furniture, etc to protect my furniture and flooring. They removed electrical plates, versus painting over them like some painters do. Any imperfections found in the ceiling and walls were taken care of first, like nail poppings, imperfections in the walls, etc. They did caulking around windows and removed my blinds to be able to paint the window frames appropriately. Ferdy is wonderful to work with. He is very pleasant, fair, and will address any issues quickly if he finds something that is missed (which is VERY rare as his crew perform impeccable work). They are honest, and are great with clean up. Oh! and they even removed my parrots from my living room so that the fumes would not harm my pet's. Ferdy does not use bottom of the line paint. He removed wall paper in one of my rooms, and the room is absolutely gorgeous now. Can't speak highly enough of this company. I plan to use him this Spring for outside painting. You can't go wrong with this company. Great customer service. They do aim to please. read more
