Do your research, this area is growing with apartments all over the place and Palacio is not where you want to be. I have been here far too long and can't wait until my lease is up to get out of here. Palacio will nickel and dime you for everything they can possibly get their greedy fingers on i.e. charges for tracking mud into the hallways (from the muddy un-kept up dog park). They charge you for amenities that half the time don't work and my favorite security, they claim Palacio is a safe secure Luxury Apartment Living yet, they have a security gate that you have to put your code in 4-5 times before it will unlock, the scanner stickers they give you for your car are trash and don't read, the gate is just a entrance and exit gate so anyone can walk around or even park at Aldi's and gain entry. If that's not enough to see how cheap Palacio really is for what they charge, you can enter the building through a number of broken doors that are supposed to be key card activated to enter. As for your apartment, get used to using your key to lock and unlock your front door because the electric keypad works, sometimes.. Let's talk about the luxury part now, cleanliness.. There is trash all over the place, hallways, parking lot, grassy areas etc. they have 1 cleaning lady who moves at the speed of, well slow motion, I guess is the best way to put it. She likes to push her broom instead of actually sweeping. Your hallway might get cleaned once a month, maybe once every two or so weeks. Other amenities include a fire pit, that you can only use during daylight hours (makes since, I love a good fire while the sun is out) because the pool area (which is now under construction just as the warm weather is arriving) closes as the sun goes down, locked out. The grills are crap and hardly ever work, they have poisonous plants in common areas, when I addressed them about it 2 years ago, they sounded concerned, and today, the same plants sit all over the community. These are plants that can kill babies and small pets if consumed. Speaking of, the tenants here don't care where they throw their chicken bones, so don't be surprised if your little pup happens to find one and hopefully it doesn't choke or cause you $$$ in vet bills. Palacio does not adhere to ESA animals, you can show them all the proof you want, their 3rd-party company makes the decision on weather or not your proof is credible. read more
