PET WASTE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM! The property manager has zero balls and won't deal with it. There's feces everywhere. Monstrous dumps in the walkways that are growing mold. Nothing like walking outside first thing in the AM and smelling and/or stepping in dog sh*t. No one is penalized for neglecting to clean up pet waste. If this was my property, I'd have cameras set up and I'd evict anyone that couldn't be bothered to clean up after their pet. THE STAIRWELLS SMELL LIKE ANIMAL CAGES - seriously...like a zoo/farm...they are never cleaned - there's a plastic cup with a moldy beverage that has been sitting in one for over a month. Drinks splattered on the walls. TRASH CHUTES - They have "trash chutes" here, which is basically a trash room, because the uncivilized heathens that live here are too lazy to throw their trash down the chute, they just throw their trash in the room - they can't even be bothered to tie their bags...so the smell leaks out into the hallway - dirty diapers, tampons, seafood, you name it. I feel so badly for the maintenance team, as they're the ones that end up dealing with this. If your unit is close to the trash room, you're screwed. Management has signs on the door with rules (that no one follows). Put a camera in the trash room and penalize people that don't follow the rules. Tonight I saw a to-go box of food in the middle of the hallway (see pic) apparently animals live here. Wonder how long it will take for that to get cleaned up . The walls, floors etc are dirty - sticky from people spilling drinks, trash left in the elevators. It smells. LIVE ON THE TOP FLOOR IF YOU LIVE HERE. Having people above you sucks. Especially someone that keeps odd hours. PARKING - you get a pass if you live here, and guests are supposed to park in a specific lot (there's ample space), however they don't police the lot, so guests frequently park in the resident spaces, which forces residents to park in the guest lot. Yet again, rules aren't enforced here. Love love love this place!! Moved here in August. Nothing but awesome! Only negative is construction across the street but once everything settles I'm sure things will be much better! Nonetheless I love taking my family down to the clubhouse and working out in our gym. Everything is phenomenal here. Oh they are also painting and the new look is stunning!! read more

Great place to live. Super quiet, and the town center is very close. Professional staff. Highly recommend.

I've lived here for a little over a year and have loved every bit of it. I never had many problems, but if I do the maintenance team gets it done fast. The front office (Angela, Chris, and Summer) are the best. They're always willing to help if you ever have any questions or concerns. I love how close it is to the St. John's towncenter so I don't have to travel very far to go grocery shopping or out to eat. Out of the apartments I have lived at, the uptown is definitely the best! read more

Moving homes can be mixed emotions but I am moving in to Uptown in a week and will update you on the experience. So far the communication is good, professional and organized. After moving here Feb 2018, I renewed for several reasons: 1) Angela and her team were always responsive and genuine (the latter is a true bonus at site of where one lives). Also, while I don't participate in many of their social activities, they are consistently working to bring residents together in fun ways. Over the years, I've learned people can make a place. And, the grass is not always greener. While there are other new properties in the area, I don't assume they have an experienced staff and teething issues resolved. This staff has worked on this beautiful property as a team, which is a key element for success (often). Special people and special team. 2) The maintenance team is cut from a similar cloth. While I had only a three issues (two we my fault with the disposal), I followed their direction and requested a work order via their online portal (where I also pay rent). They were prompt, courteous, excellent communicators, and simply got the job done right the first time. In a review, someone else said they called. Maybe he did. But why? You won't have his experience if you follow an easy process. Don't complain when you don't. 3) Amenities are excellent and well kept. Others write about this too. 4) Location - walk to the mall. Publix and much more right here. 5) Quiet at night. Many I have met here have lived here and stay here. They are respectful to each other (from my observations) and treat this place with respect. Newer places with all sorts of new people moving in don't typically. Also, safe from what I have seen. Again, great area. 6) Parking is easy and gated, even for visitors if chosen - perhaps ties back to management and experience managing a place that is up to occupancy. No surprises. Cruise control. Or, simply they just got the right amount of real estate to do this right from the beginning. Both. There is more; hopefully, however, this is enough to make the point. I am not one to give many reviews but felt this one important since I decided to live here based on the reviews I read previously. First, I will say that the amenities are spot on. The pool and workout room are very nice. Unfortunately it ends there. The office in the front is non-responsive and clearly after the next new tenant they can pitch. If you have any issue, your problem will most likely be solved by you. It is rather clear that they become bothered by the peasants if something breaks. Consider yourself lucky if a returned call is returned within 4 days of presenting the problem. YOU are the problem when you present anything but rent. There are tons of similar dwellings off Town Center Parkway ready to hold up their end of the deal happily. I suggest finding the other ones since they are being built all around there very quickly.. read more

Very good appartement, good location, staff very friendly and helpful .A lot of help we get from Angela Bazzell assistant manager , she always there when we need help as well for maintenance problem John is doing his best . We love our new director . So we are happy to live in this beautiful place , nice swimming pool area , quite and they accept the dogs , so my little dog live with us . read more

Pros: Great location, safe area, friendly staff. Cons: The building construction is not good. You can hear everything your neighbor is doing...walking in the hallway, watching tv, using the bathroom, heavy footsteps, loud parties at 2:00 in the morning...should I go on?? Say goodbye to your sleep. The average rent for a 2 bedroom is $1500 and up. If you'd like to rent here, just try to get a 4th floor unit. There's an elevator anyway. Can't guarantee your next door neighbor won't be loud. Noisy neighbors will continue to make noise even after the management and the on site officer have spoken to them. Good luck! read more

Overall a good experience with friendly staff. Angela Bazelll is amazing and probably the kindest person here, not saying others aren't but, she went above and beyond to help me in my transition from miami to jax and was a pleasure to work with. There are couple things that have me at 3 stars currently. The gym weight lifting equipment isn't working properly on two different machines which haven't been fixed in the month and half I've been here, the counter top lights and fan lights were super dirty upon move in as well as ice machine in refrigerator also was not prepped prior to move in and was dirty. read more

Nice building and fantastic amenities. The clubhouse has pool, video games shuffleboard and is beautifully styled and very modern. The pool outside is large, and there are a couple of gas grills that were very temperamental, and needed some attention as one of the igniters was broken. There is a piano room that is absolutely gorgeous. It's like a cool little jazz club in there! I wasn't lucky enough to go into an apartment as I was there for a get together. read more

I got an apartment at the Uptown at St Johns for the time I spend in Jacksonville for work (about one week out of the month). The staff has been very accommodating and understanding to my unusual circumstances for living there. Given that I dont have a lot of furniture there, I love that I can use the club house as a lounge area when I have some down time. The pool and gym are wonderful amenities to have as part of living in an apartment. read more

Absolute worst costumer service I've ever had at an apartment complex. Let me clarify that I have never lived here but attempted to schedule an appointment to see the complex. I talked to a woman named Amy who was overall very friendly and willing to help. We talked and she said she will get back to me on a appointment the next morning. The next day, no phone call. So I called again and another person answered the phone. I told him I was expecting a phone call from them. He apologized and said he would get Amy to call us back and schedule an appointment. No phone call that day or the next. So I foolishly decided to give them one more chance and reach out to them one more time. This time it was Amy who answered. I asked her why I haven't heard from her at all and she was very apologetic and gave me excuses that she was "busy". I hardly think she was busy enough to not schedule a simple appointment after numerous attempts of contacting them but I told her we can forget all that and continue forward. Well she told me, yet again, she will contact me back ASAP about an opening. Well, big shocker she never contacted me at all. Worst experience I've ever had for such a miniscule thing. I can only imagine what difficulties I would have with any other requests from that office. read more

OVER Promise, UNDER Deliver is the best way to describe this complex. I believe I am being generous by giving this place a star. Please be warned, this place is not worth the money you will spend. They claim they provide many amenities that simply do not exist. Courtesy trolley to town center? Never seen one. Cross fit room? The room exists but they've never hosted one free class as promised during the tour. Tanning booth? Took them 4 months to get it up and running and they never clean it. Parking? Atrocious... there is not sufficient and convenient parking for residents and guests. I live here and have been towed, my complaint was ignored regardless of my attempts. Myself and many residents have left for work on several occasions with green towing warning stickers that do NOT come off, they have to be scraped off with a razor and wiped with goo gone to get the adhesive completely off your window. Resident functions? I have only seen one notice ever in the year I've been here. During a heavy rain the floor drains back up in the hall ways. Though the apartments look nice the, construction is garbage and was sloppily assembled. When I first moved in, a drawer in my bathroom would not open and it was put on lop sided. You will never get a staff member on the phone when you call and will always have to leave a message. They do not return phone calls promptly. Fire alarms have gone off on the middle of the night several times. Random apartment checks and threats of fines and incarceration regarding fire alarms have been received by residents. The staff is friendly, but often not extremely helpful when there are issues. It takes diligence and constant follow up to get an answer regarding most matters. The best thing I can say about this residence is the maintenence staff. They are helpful, timely and skilled at their jobs. I have wanted to move out of here from day one, it is a disappointing apartment complex. It is sad to hate where you live, but I do. Good luck! read more

I have lived here for about 4 months. The amenities are great, especially the workout area. Amy, Angela, and Stephanie do a great job in the office. They are very friendly, and are always willing to help. Tommy, Rudy, and John who do all the maintenance are very quick to respond, and whenever I see them roaming the building they are always super friendly. The building is always kept very clean and smelling good thanks to Nidya. The complex and the staff are great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to live in this area. read more

I seriously wish I could give this place negative stars. First of all the front office management are a bunch of complete idiots especially Amy!!! Not only did it take THREE months to be able to get a lease to me to sign, I would call multiple times and they would always say "I don't know but I'll give you a call back" and literally NEVER called back. You can complain all you want about your neighbors screaming and partying neither the front office of the officer will do anything even if you have it recorded!! Oh and building 3000 is always open, so much for a safe community. Btw, they also won't tell you that there is no elevator in building 2000, they will be sure to show you a unit where here is an elevator and refuse to let you see your actual unit until move-in date!! For whatever reason, this place is a giant hub for a ton of Arabs who will run away from you when you go to take your dog out, no matter the size of the dog. I CANNOT WAIT TO LEAVE THIS AWFUL, AWFUL PLACE!! Do not let them truck you into moving into this overpriced crap hole. read more
