I moved from out of state but I initially came to visit and view the property a month before moving in. Heather and Amanda were sooooo nice and accommodating. During the application process Maurice assured me that I made the right decision. He was hands on the entire process and answered all of my questions and concerns. They are not honest, I lived there for a year and now they are stealing my security deposit and charging me for things that don't exist, it's a lot off flats , request 4 times for pest control , we had several problems, DO NOT RENT, they charge us to give them keys 2 days before the rent done , it's crazy, charge a lot think it's was before , I talk to manager she told us to go to court and that's what we're going to do. read more

We have been here a few months now and absolutely love it. The amenities are great, everything is kept very clean, the neighbors are nice and any maintenance is fixed in no time. The only complaint I have is there are no drop off spots after cleaning up after your dog. As dog friendly as they are, i'm pretty annoyed they don't have the bag and trash stations up. This has been leading to a larger amount of dog piles everywhere. This has been brought to their attention so hopefully they will install some of these. They have them in the dog park already! Other than that, we enjoy living here! read more

I moved into the complex when they were still building most of the buildings on the property in about June of 2018 or 2019 and just recently moved out in March 2025 due to relocating out of state. I enjoyed my time at this complex, which always was willing to help me whenever I needed maintenance assistance or when I needed surgery and needed to immediately move from a 3rd floor unit into a 1st floor unit, they were more than accommodating. Every employee that I interacted with was always in a good mood and willing to help, even when I locked myself out of my unit before office hours and they still helped me out. I highly recommend looking at the complex for your next apartment. The pool area is incredible, and if you have dogs, they have the cutest dog park AND dog pool area! I rarely ever heard my neighbors, and any time there was an issue the courtesy officer was quick to show up and handle the issue for me. read more

Things have drastically deteriorated since my initial review. Now at 95% capacity and with new management, I absolutely cannot recommend anyone else to move here anymore like I have in the past. Someone else's trash bin was left at our door and they gladly took a picture of it and fined me for it. They provided no recourse of action to protect a long standing tenant and left me to put things in place myself to prevent it from happening again. This new management is severely lacking and is only responsive when it's time to collect. My family and I cannot wait to move out. And now that this is out there for all to see, I bet I will finally hear from the ever elusive property manager. Well, any responses to this review will be met with the same consideration given to me - zero. Great job losing one of the few remaining 5 star reviews this property had left. read more

My experience at Luxor Club continues to justify my wise decisions to not renew my lease, and I am gleefully anticipating my 15-month lease's conclusion in a few weeks. Renters BEWARE!! This place is all about money!! I moved here primarily for the amenities; the pool and gym. The gym is about the only good thing. The pool is very nice, but you can only use in summer because it's not heated and no hot tub. Also, it's mostly military guys who overtake the entire pool. You are required to wear a band to use any of the amenities and if you happen to misplace or lose it, they charge you a ridiculous fee. The apartment staff are extremely rude and insensitive. I called because I was charged a $250 fee for apparently my dog pooping. God forbid if was dark and I accidentally didn't pick everything up. Regardless, I called to see if there was any way I could pay in payments or postpone. I was a little heated when I called and the assistant manager, Malina, hung up on me and refused to help. I was appalled. Next, Jocyln, the main manager calls me back to tell me she doesn't appreciate the way I spoke to her staff!! Are you kidding me?! Does she not have an education? The customer is always right. I am paying to live here- not to be treated like trash. I don't know where their office staff is hired from, but they need proper training in how to treat customers. Especially tenants that cause no trouble and pay rent on time. Not to mention the apartments are cheaply constructed and overpriced. I have NEVER had so many maintenance issues at an apartment. Within the 6 months I have lived here, I have had to call maintenance for 10 plus issues!!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! read more

I wish I had read the previous review before renting here. The other reviewer had the same issues I have with the Assistant Manager and her heartless disrespect for the tenants. Her team will smile and say yes but do what she says only. Don't make a mistake and live your human life here. I've had nothing but problems here. Aren't these apartments inspected for construction issues before tenants move in? There is limited notice on fixing any issues you may have. So be on guard if you're home during the day. The plumbers have to reconstruct the bathtub pipes and the shower water wasn't draining. It takes too long for the hot water to come on and will not be fixed. I've been here a month without having access to a bath without any compensation from the owner of the property. There is no regular schedule for pest control unless you're on a list that no one knows exists. The pantry door and dryer doors were hung incorrectly and had to be fixed. The garage I was promised was not really available so I had to use another one. When I finally get access to the garage, I had to move everything myself into a filthy space. The assistant manager told her minions not to help me. I requested a copy of my lease and although she agreed to send it before she left for the day, I never received it. You have to pay for garbage pickup but do not offer recycling pickup. Why am I paying for something I have to do myself? Customer service is not available from this untrustworthy group of unsupervised staff. No tip from me at Christmas! My recommendation to the property owners is to find staff who are educated and have customer service training. Especially if the turn over is becoming a problem. There are so many other apartments not run by the Fort Family. Also show people how to pay rent. Their system is broken. It doesn't validate your payment set up as it should. I'm not sure what I'll do but It may have something to do with living in Jacksonville... read more

My friend lives in building 6 and I've visited her enough to interact with the staff and neighbors. Enough to know that this place rocks!!! If I didn't own my house I'd totally live here. I read the other reviews with my friend before I came to post my own and I'm kind of shocked at the experiences that people have had. Noise? Okay, it's apartment living What do you expect? My friend is on the 2nd floor and she has people above her. Yes, occasionally you'll hear some noise but nothing too intolerable. No hot tub? Did you NOT notice this when you looked at the apartment? The office staff is always pleasant when she goes to sign out a guest band for me. I joined their Christmas party. Never have I ever experienced anything like that!!!! Giveaways, a ton of food. A DJ! People were interacting and making friends they weren't just strangers. It was really nice. Someone posted about issues with management and work orders. My friend has had some plumbing issues but everything has been fixed within a day or 2 and they've always communicated with her. Any other issues that she has had she handled with Mailenia the assistant and she was always pleasant and understanding. The office girl upfront is always nice and greets you with a smile. The leasing staff is knowledgeable and always happy. Maintenance is helpful and fast! My friend loves living here. I love visiting her here and I will refer this place to anyone looking for a home. People always post the bad but they don't post how they handled the situation. Were you angry about what happened? Did you yell at them in the office or on the phone? Did you curse at them? Were you rude? Did you threaten the office? There's always going to be 2 sides to every story, remember that! I love Luxor Club! read more

This apartment complex is not about customer service. They are about handing out fees, and compassion isn't in their vocabulary. 1st Experience: Literally the first day I moved in I took the trash out to my front door since they have a valet trash service. I didn't put the trash the way they wanted me to, so they welcomed their newest resident with a $50 fee. I called them asked them if they can please waive it and they said sorry they cant 0% compassion. ***2ND EXPERIENCE: MONTH TWO OF LIVING AT THE LUXOR CLUB I HAD A CRAZY EXPERIENCE!!! I WAS IN MY APARTMENT SLEEPING ON A FRIDAY NIGHT, AND SOME STRANGE MAN TRYS OPENING MY DOOR AT 2AM. THEN TRYS PUSHING IN THE DOOR! I LOOK THROUGH THE PEEP HOLE AND THERE IS A BIG GUY COMPLETELY NAKED TRYING TO BREAK IN! I SHOUTED THAT I WILL BE CALLING THE POLICE, AND FINALLY HE LEFT. I COULDN'T SLEEP FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT. I CALLED THE OFFICE AND TOLD THEM ABOUT THE AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I TOLD THEM I THINK IT MIGHT BE A NEIGHBOR. THEY INVESTIGATED IT AND SHOWED ME A LINE UP OF A FEW NEIGHBORS I HAVE, TO SEE IF I CAN POINT HIM OUT.AFTER SHOWING ME THE LINEUP THERE HE WAS! THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE HANDLING IT, AND ALL THEY DID WAS HAVE A TALK WITH HIM. I TOLD THEM THAT ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH WHAT IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN HE LIVES IN MY BUILDING THEY SAID THAT IS ALL THEY CAN DO SORRY. THEY TOLD ME I CAN MOVE OUT AT MY OWN EXPENSE. THEY WOULD BE GENEROUS ENOUGH TO LET ME OUT OF MY LEASE, BUT I JUST MOVED IN A MONTH BEFORE. I SPENT A LOT OF MONEY JUST TO MOVE IN HERE. THEY DIDN'T CARE AND DIDN'T EVEN OFFER TO MOVE ME TO A DIFFERENT BUILDING. THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO MAKE ME FEEL SAFE. HAD A LOT OF SLEEPLESS NIGHTS!****** 3rd Experience: This was the final straw. When I first moved I had an issue with the system on making a payment on my rent and they suggested for me to do autopay, so I wouldn't have to worry about it. I really don't like to do auto pay on anything, but I didn't want to have issues later so I decided to do so. Every month since then it has been deducting with no problem. They sent me a letter last month asking if I wanted to renew my lease. Honestly I didn't want to but Ive been so busy with work and didn't have time to move or look for a new place, so I said yes. I signed the paperwork to renew and called it a day. Im thinking everything is fine. They put a notice on my door saying my rent is past due, and I will be charged a $175 fee for being late. I call the office telling them I have it set on autopay how is this possible. They said my autopay was scheduled to stop on December 1 because thats when my lease was expiring. They never told me that I had to go in and renew my autopay since I resigned the lease. I asked them why didn't they inform me to renew my autopay or at least send me a message saying my autopay is expiring. They said they don't have that kind of software, but they definitely have the software to send me a notice saying I'm late. There has been many other issues I've had with the Luxor club. This place is a money hole, and they don't know how to treat their residents. Save your money and run from this place. Especially for the amount of money this place cost. read more

Don't bother applying if you aren't a perfect angel! I paid $150 for my partner and I to apply here, waited over a week to get everything submitted, I asked so many times for a list what I needed & was asked for a new document everyday so the process took forever. Finally I get my results back and I was denied due to a misdemeanor (weed charge) back in 2018 when I was in high school!!! I have never been denied an apartment in my life, been the lease holder of 3 now moving into my 4th, no eviction, proof of income exceeds requirements. they missed out on a great tenant over a petty misdemeanor. just a warning not to waste money applying! read more

I liked the complex in summer of 19. The complex was shown to me by an agent who said it was an adult community focusing on working young adults. It certainly seemed that way when I moved in. But suddenly a lot of very shady people and big families started moving in. Like families with 4+ kids, and the biggest apartment is 3 bedrooms. The complex was so quiet when I moved in, by October it was full of screaming kids playing in the breezeway, storing their bikes next to your door. I never had an issue with maintenance, because I was the first owner of the apartment. I never had to ask for anything to be repaired. I could always hear the guy above me ( I was on the first floor ), walking around or having loud relations in the master above mine. I could also hear the neighbor beside me, particularly their dog which was very large and barked constantly. The move out process was an absolute disaster - they tried to charge me for a second mail key they never gave me. I paid them $250 to professionally clean the apartment after I moved out, and they did that and charge me an additional $65 for steam cleaning. Now mind you this carpet was absolutely pristine. No pet had set foot on it, no stains. I called to ask them why $65 on pristine carpet was added to my bill when it should've been part of the $250. They were very rude and refused to do anything about it. I would suggest you look elsewhere, if you want an adult community that doesn't nickel and dime you. read more

Well here goes a bad review. I'm a resident here at Luxor club and after the amenities being closed for months because of the virus, they reopened to residents ONLY so far which is understanding. A bunch of residents went to the pool super happy and a bunch of us got kicked out of the pool because US RESIDENTS didn't have "RUBBER wrist bands" that were given to us when we moved in? Mind you, we have amenity fobs, we can PROVE we live here and STILL got asked to leave because a wrist band. I asked most residents on the way out if they have them and they don't. NO ONE ever told us we have to keep those wrist bands in order to use the amenities?? You would think an ID, fob or even mail is good enough to prove you LIVE here. AND here is the best part, they are charging $20+ for a rubber wrist band just to wear!!!! That's Sooooo ridiculous!! Most people got their jobs taken away and can't afford to waste money on a rubber band! We pay way to much money on rent to use these amenities! Sounds like their just trying to make money off of us. All of this after a pandemic which residents just want to enjoy a day at the pool but that didn't happen. Luxor club, You just got a lot of residents pretty upset. read more

I'm an active duty (13yrs n counting) Army recruiter here in Jacksonville and we have lived around the world and this is by the far the worst apartment community we have EVER lived in. We've been living here for a few months. If you can stay away from the property... do it!! We had one good month here... then the residents above us moved in. It's been nothing but HELL seriously. Starting from 6am! EVERYDAY we hear THUNDEROUS running, bouncing of BALLS, loud and heavy JUMPING. I get it kids play and I'm not against it but! there is a place for that... like outside or at a park. After tons of complaints the property leadership offered to come out and hear the noise in which they did witness. I believe they are of the mindset that some noise is going be normal in which I get. We hear normal apartment noise all the time we've heard on a daily basis slamming of cabinets, heavy walking, arguing, sexual noises, music, screaming, moving of furniture etc the walls are that thin!... we're not even complaining about that... it's the "extracurricular activities" like they running from one side of the apartment to the other back-and-forth back-and-forth that goes on up there. It's so so terrible... you could never relax here, or do homework, take a nap, or even read a book here. One time I called the office so they could give a Courtesy call to the residents above us because they were making a lot of noise... The assistant property manager told me that it's not quite hours yet and there's nothing they could do... I then replied, So I don't have the right to peaceful enjoyment of my apartment?.... I was really upset after that conversation with the assistant property manager... it's almost as if they don't care. There is no penalty for making a lot of ruckus and no one is held accountable.... Another occasion a leasing agent told me their hands are tired and can't do anything about it. Another thing we could never get ahold of the Courtesy Officer who is supposed to be enforcing things like that after 10pm i swear this dude earns the easiest check. They have ran through their policy and procedures but there's no accountability. My kids wake up with a migraine from all the stomping and beg us to sleep in the car so they can get some peace and quiet or do homework. It's ridiculous that no one cares. If I could break my lease with no penalty I would in a heart beat and never look back. I DO NOT recommend this property, looks are very deceiving trust me. read more

The worst experience I had ever had with a management office, I moved in with my roommate (which lives here 1 year already and renewed the contract on December) and since then we have tried to add myself on the leasing contract and remove the other person that was living there, it's been 7 months since December and they couldn't add me on the contract, I had to fill the application form like 3 times and sent them my proof of income 3 times as well, I had to go to the office several times in order to fix that issue, spoke with different people and each one had different information that was given to me, I've asked to speak with a manger and I haven't been able to contact her, they were trying to give us a seven day notice due to not have insurance (which I couldn't get because my name was not on the contract because of them) and it took me to go all pissed off to the office so they can fix the issue, I don't recommend to live here. We stopped at Luxor Club in January 2020 when we were in town for a job interview from Michigan. We met with Shannon from the leasing office and she gave us a tour of the property. We weren't sure at the time but we ended up getting the job and decided to move to Luxor Club and had to process all of our paperwork online. Shannon was awesome and set everything up for us. We had a lot of questions and she answered every single one of them some more than once. Shannon and her professional attitude and kindness made us glad we chose Luxor Club.
