Very welcoming and pleasant, Ms Patti is who really sold me and my roommates on the apartments. She answered every email and phonecall full of questions without question. There is a pretty nice pool attached to the offices (a small clubhouse sort of) and it's never really busy there. It's enclosed and overlooks the pond which is nice when you're just sun bathing. The staff even puts out beach balls, pool noodles, and water with lemon and other citrus slices in it. Overall, very happy to live here. The neighbors are friendly and I feel safe.

They have a…read moregreat pool, gym, apartments, etc. I think I laid out by the pool almost everyday after class. It was so big and roomy and just beautiful to look at. Regarding the apartments, I know they're only a couple years old but they look brand new. I sent pictures to my mom and she said this apartment is even nicer than her house, haha. All new appliances, wood flooring, crown molding, everything was amazing. The only down side I would say is that the regular rooms (not the master) were pretty small as well as the closet and the bathroom compared to other places I've lived. Another great part about this complex was the "extras". There was a good truck that came to the complex once a week and they always had things going on like events for kids and free breakfast, etc. The amount of times I got free breakfast was amazing, especially on the way to class. I would have loved to stay and live here longer but I changed roommates and therefore a different living area. Definitely an amazing apartment to live in and I recommend to everyone. Also, parking is great! No reserved spots and lots for everyone to fit! Oh and there's valet trash!!! That was one of my favorite things cause what college girl likes taking out the trash, haha.

In November 2023, I originally signed a 15-month lease with a base rent of $1,407, plus additional charges for trash, water, pest control, and administrative fees. Fifteen months later, I renewed at $1,449 plus fees. My latest renewal offer increased the base rent to $1,650 plus fees while reducing the lease term option to only 12 months. During my nearly 30 months living here, my apartment did not receive any upgrades, so I felt this increase was significantly high. My advice to future residents is to pay close attention to renewal pricing and the additional monthly fees beyond the advertised rent. I would also strongly recommend keeping all communication documented through email and, when necessary, CC'ing the entire office team. During my stay, there were several instances where information provided by one staff member was either not communicated or not aligned with others, including move-in access, mailbox setup, billing questions, and parking reservations. Another aspect worth mentioning is consistency in rule enforcement. I respected the lease terms throughout my stay--no smoking, no grills on the balcony or patio, no excessive items stored outside that could create a fire hazard, no noise complaints, and rent was always paid on time or early. However, while walking throughout the complex, I observed residents openly violating some of those same rules without much enforcement, which at times made the standards feel inconsistent. Overall, this is not a terrible place to live. However, transparency, communication, and consistency are important for residents making long-term financial decisions, and these are areas where I believe there is room for improvement. The biggest issue was a bat infestation that went unresolved for the last year. During that time, we had three bats enter the apartment. On one occasion it was flying around our heads in our bedroom, and the other 2 bats were found perched up on the decorative ledge above the kitchen pass through. We could also hear them fluttering in the ceiling. Management repeatedly dismissed my concerns and tried to shift the blame onto me instead of addressing the actual problem. At one point, the property manager informed me that "bats can fly" and i "should watch out when i open my doors" implying I must have let them in. Later, she admitted the neighboring unit was also experiencing a bat problem, confirming this was a building issue--not something I caused. The eaves of the buildings were dilapidated and the exterminator we hired 3 desperate times to remove the bats said they were probably entering the infrastructure of the building and getting into the attic and unit that way. Sad attempts were made to remedy the issue. A pest control team came out and installed bat exclusion devices in attempt to relocate them, those were up on the building for about 3-4 weeks until bat mating season begins and they become protected (meaning you can't attempt to relocate, trap, or harm them). When the exclusion devices came down, the property did not repair the holes in the eaves that the bats were coming in through! What was the point?! We asked initially to have our building inspected and were denied, although the eventually sent someone to inspect our attic about 10 months into the issue. We never even got a report or a follow up about that. Living with the fear of bats entering your home and hearing them inside the walls/ceiling is not something anyone should have to experience, and it is a huge health hazard! Dealing with staff was equally frustrating. The property manager, Stephanie, was condescending, dismissive, and showed no empathy despite the obvious safety concerns. She was also nearly impossible to reach. She constantly sounded annoyed with me whenever I did get a hold of her. And if she's not there, don't count on anything getting done, as the rest of the office staff can't do anything competent without her. I frequently had to go up to the office, call the main line, and send multiple follow-up emails before receiving any response. We also discovered what appeared to be mold in our HVAC system using home test kits. Rather than properly testing or investigating it, management simply insisted it wasn't mold without conducting any testing of their own. Their "solution" was to cover the affected area with HVAC tape, making it look fixed while never cleaning it or addressing the underlying issue. Maintenance staff was another major disappointment. Requests were frequently brushed off with little to no investigation before being marked "completed" with no resolution. One maintenance employee, Luis, was consistently abrasive and unprofessional. On one occasion, he arrived to work on my AC unit with open Corona beers sitting in his golf cart. On another occasion, I put in a request to have the dishwasher looked at because it would not drain and had a smell, he came over and turned the dishwasher on, says "it works" and left, unwilling to speak to me further about it. To make matters worse, our apartment was not renovated, yet we were paying the same premium rent as renovated units. After three years of living here, I can confidently say this was the worst renting experience I've ever had. We ended up breaking our lease penalty free (KNOW YOUR RENTERS RIGHTS) due to the uninhabitable mold and bat infested unit. If management took resident safety and satisfaction seriously and addressed issues instead of dismissing them, this review would be very different. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

The representative would not talk to us much until we produced our driver licenses and said we could not see a unit until she was able the SCAN them. Given our home state does not require one to CARRY a license, but only requries that one be licensed to drive, we don't keep them with us. Both of us have military IDs however. We were informed that a US Government-issued military ID was insufficient -- apparently because they could not be scanned (they can.) We left without ever having seen a unit. But there is GOOD news! :) We went to look at the places at Enzo were we were met by two very professional, pleasant and helpful representatives who were glad to show us around and take our application. They wanted to hold onto our IDs while we were out with the their employee -- entirely reasonable, we thought, given the "stories" one hears. So, bottom line is we found a better place than Ocean Park where we were well received and their was no discrimination against folks carrying military ID cards.

The best was when we had an A/C issue and they fixed it same day within 2 hours of submitting the request. The maintenance crew is very fast and all great people, the office staff was also very accommodating the entire time we lived here. The trash service is great and the dumpsters on site are very useful, unlike other complexes that have horrible rules with dumping and compactors that are always full. When I moved out this year Kaitlin the manager gave me extra time to finish cleaning out our apartment and garage which helped out a ton with my busy schedule. Don't listen to the people giving a 1 star for "drivers license" issues, they are just making sure you're not a criminal and keeping the neighborhood safe!

The office just added some Adirondack chairs around the pond areas of the property, updating the landscaping and installed a hammock by the pool. In other apartment complexes where I've lived I haven't been able to see where my rent payments are going other than just to pay for the current property and staff. It's really nice to see improvements around the property. I also really like the monthly newsletter and monthly events for residents. The community here is welcoming and a place I'm happy to call home! I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a new apartment to call home!

THIS IS SERIOUS: My Experience as a single woman: I was stalked and harassed by their male tenant of 4yrs in building 15 who is married and lived next door to me. I sent an email to Luna.(mind you she claimed she had no clue as we were discussing all the extra charges on me moving out. Luna was covering her you know what) but I told them (I have emailed proof I sent it). I was being harassed constantly by his verbal sexual advances of telling me not to tell his wife that he came to my door asking me if I wanted to smoke and that he can help me around my apartment because he is very handy and that he doesn't mind coming over when I need him because he doesn't like his wife of over 20 something yrs. No thank you. A tree would have a better chance with me. He said, "It's cheaper to keep her." And the main reason why I try to put up with it is because he told me was moving away in 3 months. And in his sneaking over he said he was just released from a mental hospital and that he was in the psych ward for 2 weeks. I notice after the ward. He was ringing off my ring cam a lot more just to ask if I needed anything. That's when things got even more unbearable. I started being stalked and followed to work. Now the first time it happens I'm like no can't be him. That would be weird. As I walked into my job I saw his truck. And I'm like no that can't be. Well then I check my Ring cam 2 mins after I left, he left. Smh!!!! More sexual verbal harassment and yes my boyfriend wanted to do something and 23 yr old my son wanted to do something because they were scared for me if one of them couldn't meet me at my car as I parked. And I told them: One he is on mental med(s) (he told me) and two he carries a pocket gun ( he told me) three my encounter with him was under the influence of alcohol and Marijauana (because he sneaked over 2 mins after his wife left and asked me if I wanted to smoke with him and showed me it). No I don't smoke. I don't know how to smoke. I even told my co worker's and my clients who are officers what should I do and should I make a police report and break my lease. My true talking to people to see if they ever dealt with this situation before and how they would handle it. I stayed as long as I could because the apt is close to my 2 jobs and close to my son's college. But more importantly, He said he will be working in another State soon or moving in 3 months. Well that never happened. So my year renewal lease with the Elements was miserable and there was no peace when I parked, enter or leave building 15. There was times I had to either not go home or stay at my boyfriends who lives 45 mins away from the apt. Or even timed my arrival's when my son got off from work. I was stalked for the entire year extension of my lease renewal. To sum this up: At first I didn't realize he was watching me. I just thought hmm he and always run into each other. He is either in his truck when I leave or when I come back home. Hmm strange we have the same schedule. Naw he is married and that would be just weird. And I know since he is watching me he had to seen my new relationship with my boyfriend. So why would he continue to harass me? He did!!!! I truly feel sorry for his wife. I did not tell her because you never know how that would turn out. He could lose it and she be harm. I did not want that on my conscience. Or she doesn't believe me. Either/or! But a mental disorder can be unpredictable especially when one uses substances. On my departure they charged me all these bogus fees. Almost $400 dollars. All I asked Luna for was to cut those bogus charges for my peace being disturbed for a year. Luna said to me, " If I do it for you then I have to do it for everyone"! I honestly would recommend hiring a new manager because she is extremely unwelcoming. The apartments are nice and well done, but she would be a reason to not come here.
