My guests were left confused since their bus broke down and they had to call another one. This led to my guests arriving late to our wedding. I only found out months after my wedding that this occurred as David Thomas did not notify me of the issue. After months of going back and forth with their CFO, they were not accommodating with a refund. If you are planning to use David Thomas for your wedding, my advice would be to go with another company. They are disorganized and do not handle issues appropriately.

The trip goes by relatively smooth. The only problem I had was with the bus capacity. They had overbooked the bus by at least 8 or so folks. Because of this, the overbooked people had to be dropped off at another bus while standing in the aisle space. It did create some delays, but the staff handled it well and apologized profusely. Overall, good experience and the pricing was solid.

We took OvRride's snow bus to Belleayre and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience…read more Our group boarded at 42nd Street in Manhattan and sat in the last few rows near the restroom. The restroom door did not latch properly and kept slamming loudly with the motion of the bus. This issue was present on the ride to Belleayre as well, though it was more tolerable at the time. However, on the three-hour return trip--after a long day of skiing--it became unbearable, as many passengers were trying to rest and the constant banging made it impossible to sleep. I notified a staff member, who came to the back and pulled out a dirty rope from under the last-row corner seat to tie the door shut. While this reduced the noise slightly, the rope was loose and visibly dirty. Every time someone used the restroom, they removed the rope and left it on the floor, so the door would start slamming again. I had to repeatedly get up, retrieve the rope from under the seat, and secure the door myself. This happened multiple times, and we didn't get any rest the entire ride back. The fact that a rope was being used suggests this is not a new issue. The restroom also had no water or hand sanitizer available. For a three-hour bus ride, basic maintenance and functional facilities should be standard. Unfortunately, this experience makes us unlikely to use this service again.
