Instead, I found Yellow Cab on Yelp and took a chance. The driver answered my phone call right away, picked me up, and didn't mind stopping by a bank to pick up cash for the fare. I needed him to pick me up a second time at 4:30am in the morning and drop me off at EWR. He confirmed the night before via phone, and also arrived right on time. I stupidly forgot my wallet and we were 75% of the way there. So embarrassing! But he turned around with no complaint and got me back to the airport in time for my flight. I really appreciated his patience and professionalism (I'm used to cabbies in NJ being rude to me) and gave him 3x the fare, plus tip. Overall, great customer service, and safe driving skills :D

Then the joy of disputing charges through your credit card company begin! They will also book activities for you and then you'll arrive...the vendor will have no record of your booking whatsoever!! ScanAm travel (more like ScamAm) added undue stress and anxiety to our trip...and here we are almost 2 months later, still dealing with this headache!! They keep saying "your refund check is in the mail". As if this isn't enough, days before our departure to Norway they fired the travel agent that was handling our account. They never told us, never reached out to us, didn't transition us to a new agent, nothing! We had to find out from the former employee herself after blowing up her phone out of desperation for answers. Completely unprofessional. Tom (the owner) was zero help through the entire process. He couldn't have cared less about us a customer. This company will be out of business soon. Don't say I didn't warn you...

Because if…read moreyou are looking to travel you will receive personal, professional and knowledgeable service here. Ira has booked our 3 cruises for us on Royal Caribbean and we have always been taken care of. Honestly they make you feel like a celebrity because they do all the work for you. They coordinate the connections, the transfers, just all the nuances that can make a person so overwhelmed by the little details. All you need to do is tell them what you want and they try their best to make it happen! And this business is old school top notch! And I don't mean old school in a negative way but in the manner they take care of you. From the polite and friendly young lady that answers the phone, to the compassion and kindness you receive from Ira. I also found out that once you book your cruise, you can peruse excursions on their website that you may add to your trip. The cruise line also offers excursions but they urge you to comparison shop because they may offer a better deal. Next year my husband and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary and we've booked a 10 night Greece & Adriatic cruise on Royal Caribbean. This will be our first time taking a cruise in Europe so we are so excited! Give them a try and if they don't disappoint, please leave a review!

As it turned out, we could not go and she was fine with that and returned our deposit. I have never met her, but liked her just from talking over the phone. She was extremely helpful with transfers, getting our dining to make it possible to get to our shows etc. We are also getting ready to leave on the Viking Sky in mid August to go to Iceand and Norway. Again, she makes it seemless. I am currently working with her to plan a trip for 10 on a cruise in Europe for 2020. She is patient, responds immediately and has some great ideas. I would highly reccommend Cruise Holidays. I am originally from Jersey and currently living in Maryland. Planning on going to Jersey some time in Sept. One of the things I will do is go and personally meet Helene, the woman who is behind our fabulous trips. Five star for sure!!!

The website's online order form doesn't allow information about which airline or flight, or even terminal, just "EWR Newark Airport"... doesn't provide an option to add "Meet and Greet" service, even though the website says they do it. How can I expect them to track my flight and adjust pickup time if they don't collect flight information? How can I order the Meet and Greet service? No problem, obviously the website struggles with this, I'll call them and make a reservation... phone rings, computer answers... plays music, a happy voice they want to help us... loop through this a number of times, eventually computer voice says to use the web site for reservations and hangs up.
