We were very early arriving at our hotel and they had no rooms for us to check-in early so we had a lot of time to kill. Even though we had just travelled about 24 hours, we decided a movie would be a nice way to kill said time. I thought it would be a nice nap time but the movie was interesting and none of us slept.
This theater is odd but interesting. You buy tickets at the concession stand. I wish I had tried the popcorn but I assumed I might not be awake so eating was out. The theaters are spread around the floor in different pockets of the area, so it's more like walking to a different shop.
Even though it was a matinee, we were told it was mostly sold out and that we'd have to sit in the second row. This worried me but the person selling the tickets said it's where they prefer to sit and, again, I assumed I'd sleep so we agreed. We sat in theater 11 and lone behold, it wasn't going to be a problem because the screen is far away and there's a good amount of space between the front row and the screen.
The other unique thing about this room was there was a large window. I've never seen this in a movie theater before and it was cool. Don't worry, the drapes, once closed, were nice and thick and let no light in.
The seats were comfy and did manually recline. I only like to recline if there's a leg rest though so I didn't do that. read more
